What do you think of my ride?

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• I was surprised to see Keegan was already at Ms. Cheri's when we got there this morning...  (mommy got to go a few minutes later since she had a workshop to go to).  Keegan patted the couch beside of him, wanting me to sit beside him (now mommy knows where I learned that) so I climbed up on the couch and sat with him (he was watching tv).  As soon as mommy got the camera out, I moved.
• Ms. Cheri said that Keegan was kissing me on the cheek today and that I liked it so I kept turning my cheek toward him for another kiss (I'll never tell!)
• I enjoyed carrying the rocks and sticks around outside of Ms. Cheri's house... It was nearly 70 degrees outside and felt great!
• Talked a lot (mostly in my own secret language) during the car ride home... I even had some sort of growling speech which made mommy wonder what was going on with me.
• Helped daddy work on the carpet a little more after we got home, especially helped by climbing the stairs and sitting on the steps to push the new carpet down (even though daddy doesn't have it all tacked down yet).
• I guess I picked up on mommy's childhood habit of making sure bottles are completely empty...  I got daddy's bottle out of the top of the trash can and carried it into the living room to him with it in my mouth (yuck!)
• I went to the mall with mommy and daddy to visit my "big sister" Makayla.  I ran straight for the purple truck to ride as soon as I was put down to walk.  We even got to play in the play area for a little bit and I had a lot of fun, even made a friend, Logan, who was about my size.  I kept trying to steal his bottle and shoes from the bench while he was distracted.  I also visited a brand new baby who was at the play area with some other kids.  She was beautiful and I wanted to touch her and kept saying "BaaaBeee!"

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• had a rough night... woke up several times
• I wanted to wear my pink and black this morning instead of the white one... it looked extra cute with my pink plaid coat, grey and rainbow polka dot pants, and rainbow striped socks (such a fashionista!)
• Yelled "Moo!" when walking into Ms. Cheri's house (she has lots of cow decor in her house)
• Repeatedly offered my hand to Keegan for him to kiss after he did it once on his own
• Just for the record, I do NOT like Spaghettios...  I tried three bites and gagged on each one
• helped daddy start installing carpet on the stairs... I like to hold the level and tape measure and even weighted down the carpet with everything I could get my hands on
• Should have listened to the "doctor" about monkey jumping on the bed...  didn't bust my head, but scared myself and mommy and daddy

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

when mommy asked me what I was going to wear to church today, I said, "Shoes!"

carried daddy's shoes around this morning... several pairs

I wore a very cute pink jumper dress to church this morning!  I even let mommy put a pink barrette in my hair and left it there!

went to the nursery Sunday School class for the first time today

got to go out to eat twice today, with two sets of friends, once for lunch, one for dinner

colored at b-dubs with Mr. Ted and David...  I even said "Blue!" and handed the blue crayon to Mr. Ted.  Mommy and daddy hung my masterpiece on the refrigerator.

wore my sunglasses while eating a frozen fruit pop with daddy...  don't I look cute?  (thinking of summer already!)

tried some new foods at Cracker Barrel with Miss Jessica and it didn't turn out too well.... let's just say I had to have a wardrobe change soon after

when daddy took the trash out this evening, I stood at the front door yelling "Moo!" at him.. When he came inside the house I showed him my cow watches and had him help me put both of them on.  Daddy called them my superhero watches and said my super power is that I am a blur in pictures!

enjoyed spinning in circles and making myself dizzy...  it's so much fun (but not as much fun if you aren't wearing a dress!)

daddy played his harmonica for me before bath time and I tried to play as well but haven't quite mastered it yet...  It was fun listening to daddy play though.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

had pancakes and peaches for breakfast with mommy and daddy

helped mommy sort and organize things for her thirty-one party

daddy took me to the mall to play in the play area... I love climbing the tree! (video below)

fell asleep in the high chair tonight with daddy while mommy was at her party

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

unloaded the crib while I brushed my teeth this morning, then carried the blankets, "dolly" and "joy bear" to daddy who covered himself up with them... then I laid down in the floor and he covered me up with all of them

when we got out of the car at Ms. Cheri's this morning, I yelled "Moo!" as I looked across the street from her house (this is where the cows used to be when the weather was warmer... they are in the field closest to the barn for the season).  When I got inside Cheri's I ran and grabbed the cow toys that she has for me.

mommy and daddy took me to b-dubs for a quick dinner before daddy went to Shepherdstown... it was the first time I ate mini corn dogs and I didn't eat much of them... not too excited about them!  I did pile all of the pieces of food into the small "boat" container, then tipped it up and tried licking a piece of food out with my tongue... mommy and daddy laughed at me!

I got in trouble at Wal-mart when I kept putting my mouth on different parts of the shopping cart.  Mommy got real mad and kept saying it was "dirty" and "gross" but I kept doing it and laughing.  (luckily mommy had wiped the cart real well with the sanitizing wipe when we went into the store)

unloaded, then reloaded, then unloaded mommy's small thirty-one box then climbed into it and sat down, then after I got out Gemma climbed in and laid down

started crying climbing the stairs to go to bed because mommy wouldn't let me carry the bottle.  I hadn't seen it all day and wanted to hold it... I stopped part of the way up the stairs, looked at mommy, and said "ba-ba" in a pittiful voice and mommy told me I had to wait until we got upstairs so I cried... she is so mean!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

woke up at 5:15 or so this morning, then got to cuddle in bed with mommy for a little bit, then with daddy...  I did not want to get back up!

brushed my teeth walking around this morning... when mommy tried to have her turn to brush my teeth, I ran away and said "No!"

Annie gave me a big hug before she left Ms. Cheri's today.  She acted like she was really going to miss me.

met a new boy at the gym daycare this evening... we played trains together.  Daddy's mad that I keep meeting boys.

I was so tired leaving the gym... when mommy put me in the car I kept saying "ba-ba" and "bottle" because I really want my bottle when I'm tired.

helped mommy sort Jessica's thirty-one order that came in the mail today... and by sort I mean carried all of mommy's items that she had laid to the side into the kitchen

ate tortellini (for the first time) with mommy and daddy

Dinner...  yum!  Big girl using the spoon!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

back to waking up at 4:00am or so...  I was just a little thirsty... once I had a little milk, I passed out again until 6:30

love brushing my teeth with daddy and brushing my hair with mommy every morning while we get ready (mommy says I'm such a copycat!)

climbed up at sat on Ms. Cheri's couch as mommy was leaving this morning... Ms. Cheri told mommy I must be ready to read since I always sit up there to read (like a big girl!)

today was Keegan's birthday, so his mommy brought cupcakes and noise makers to Ms. Cheri's.  Ms. Cheri was afraid mommy would get mad, so she told me to wait until I got home to eat my cupcake

had to make a stop with mommy after she picked me up... when she turned off of the normal route home,  I said "Uh oh."

I practiced using my spoon at dinner... I have to remember that you don't stab your food with a spoon like you do with a fork

I only got to see mommy and daddy for a very little bit tonight since they went out on a "date."  Miss Sierra came over and watched me and even took me to the ladies meeting at church while mommy and daddy played trivia.  We had fun and of course I was the center of attention!

Sierra said that I played with the keys while at the church...Emily kept picking them up so I kept dropping them to see how many times it would take for Emily to give up and stop picking them up...  I ran over Sierra's foot with a toy and she said "Ouch" so I thought I had to say it too.  It was funny!  and so was running around with Emily!  I had a lot of fun hanging out with these ladies tonight!  I even blew kisses and waved at everyone when I left the church tonight!  I had no problem staying up past my bedtime!  (Thanks Natasha for taking and posting pictures from my time at the church tonight so I would have them for my blog!)

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

slept through the night...  mommy is hoping I have been going through a growth spurt and maybe that is why my sleep has been interrupted

wore my cute new monkey shirt today

blew mommy a kiss as she left Ms. Cheri's house this morning

Annie and Keegan were telling me all about this place called Chuck-E-Cheese....  sounds like a place I need to know more about!

went to mommy's school to help with the WyldLife meeting...  the students LOVE me!!!  I even got to play with a balloon. 

after the meeting, the cheerleaders tried to teach me how to do a flip.  I tried over and over again, but couldn't figure it out.  The cheerleaders clapped and cheered for me for trying.

I tried opening a few lockers, but they just wouldn't open for me...  I thought if I pushed in on the lock that it would just open

mommy and daddy took me to Chick-fil-a for dinner... while mommy was ordering dinner, daddy took me into the play area for the first time.  I had so much fun!!!  Then I got to eat a yummy chicken tender, fries, and milk.  It was delicious!

when I was falling asleep in my crib tonight, mommy said, "goodnight, I love you!" and I said in my high-pitched sleepy voice, "laaa doo" (mommy loved it! - and loves the fact that I am trying to say love you more and more and am blowing kisses more and more)
