- I was excited to go to Ms. Cheri's this morning. When Mommy pulled into her driveway, I was so excited that I mooed and yelled "Baby!" nearly at the same time.
- When we got home I was so excited to find Daddy, but I couldn't find him anywhere. Luckily Mommy showed me that the huge lump under the blanket in Daddy's chair was him hiding from me.
- I climbed onto my rocking horse and played for a bit... I'm getting really good at rocking it back and forth and also at pushing the button to make him make noises.
- Daddy fixed spaghetti for dinner and I loved it! I even asked for more by pointing at the empty spot on my plate and saying "this, this!" Mommy said I had more on my face than in my belly.
- I whined and fussed a lot this evening... The only thing that even came close to calming me down was watching kitty cats on the computer and television. Mommy and Daddy are not sure what's going on, they are wondering if I was just tired or teething. They are just hoping I get a good night's sleep and am not up every couple of hours screaming.

Exciting Events of the Day:
- After we woke up this morning Mommy made us pancakes for breakfast. She even gave me "dip" (syrup) and bananas too! It was so yummy!
- I read the Buyers Guide to see if there were any good sales coming up, then we headed to church.
- I wore Mommy's old neon sunglasses on the way to church since it was so sunny. I wasn't quite sure about the shadows I could see while we were walking... I pointed at the shadows and said "baby," but then kinda stopped since I wasn't sure what they were.
- The teenagers at church thought I looked so cool with my sunglasses.
- I colored a picture and played with Sierra and Isabelle in Sunday School then got to play with Rebekah between Sunday School and church and then with Amber and Emily during church. Morgan let me try on her cool white sunglasses to see if I liked them as much as the neon ones.
- After church Mommy and I walked around the mall for a little bit then headed home.
- Mommy tried for an hour to get me to nap since I was so tired, but I fought hard... I just wanted to play (and do anything but sleep).
- When Daddy got home I was so excited to see him!
- I finally fell asleep and took my afternoon nap on the way to Mr. Kevin's house for Mommy and Daddy's YoungLife leadership meeting. Mommy stayed in the car and let me sleep for a while, then I got to go in and play with Mr. Kevin's kids, and the other adults that were there. We even built a fort in the kitchen and kept pushing Daddy out it when he tried to come in. It was fun!
- When we got home I sat down at the piano and started hitting a key a couple of times and started singing "Winkle, Winkle" so Mommy sat down next to me and started playing too... She actually knows how to play that song!
- Daddy wasn't too happy that Mommy and I had spent so much time singing a Justin Beiber song while he was away... it had nothing to do with Beiber, but everything to do with the fact that I love babies.....

Exciting Events of the Day:
- I woke up at 2:00am, but after a quick drink I was back to sleep until 6:45 or so.
- After Mommy and I got ready, we got in the car and she wouldn't tell me where we were going.
- We stopped to get donuts for breakfast... a blueberry donut and banana... YUM!
- We finally stopped at a strange building and Mommy was super excited. She said something about it being a museum and that we were going to see the space shuttle or something.
- We walked through the Air & Space Museum at Dulles while waiting for Carol's plane to arrive. We spent most of our time around the space shuttle Discovery which was Mommy's favorite part. My favorite part was the McDonald's chicken nuggets and fries that we had before we left.
- Mommy and I walked around the airport while waiting for Carol. I loved pushing my stroller (while wearing my bear backpack). I even ran laps around Mommy.
- I ran toward Carol when I saw her and gave her a big hug.
- We stopped and ate on the way back to Martinsburg.
- Mommy and I spent the rest of the evening cleaning a little, playing, and relaxing too. While Mommy was cleaning, I was trying on Mommy's shoes, several pairs! My favorite pair of shoes was her open-toed black heels. I wore them, clopping around the upstairs of the house, smiling and scaring the kitty cats.

Exciting Events of the Day:
- Daddy dressed me in a shirt that said "Daddy's favorite girl" today... I think he's just trying to make Mommy jealous, but I don't mind! I love having all of Daddy's attention!
- I sang "Twinkle, Twinkle" or as I like to sing it, "Winkle, Winkle," to Mommy nearly all of the way to Ms. Cheri's this morning. She sang along too, but she doesn't seem to know the song very well... she kinda just keeps singing random words after "Winkle, Winkle."
- Ms. Cheri said that Keegan and I danced together this afternoon to music we were listening too (shh! don't tell Daddy or he'll get mad!).
- After we left Ms. Cheri's, Mommy and I went to Hagerstown and did a tiny bit of shopping and ate dinner at my favorite place, Chick-fil-a. Mommy even let me drink chocolate milk... YUM!
- This is the third or fourth day in a row that I have climbed on Mommy's lap when she sits down with her laptop and pointed at the computer saying "Meow, Meow." I love watching the kitty cats on the computer! They are so funny!
- Mommy let me color and nearly every time I lifted up my crayon I said, "WOW!" because I was so impressed by my coloring! I'm an artist!
- I had to have a banana before bed... I ate the entire thing!
- Mommy let me call Grandma and Grandpa and talk to them. I also sang "Winkle, Winkle" to them. They loved my singing!

Does this shirt still fit? Mommy says I look way too skinny in the picture, but it is just because my arms are up.... normally I have a little gut. |
- I wore my pretty blue and yellow t-shirt with bees on it and wore my cute yellow and white shoes. Mommy loves me in this outfit, and so does Daddy!
- Ms. Cheri said I am the alarm clock after nap time. I am always the first to wake up and then I think everyone should be awake. I say "Keegan, Keegan!" and "Baby! Baby!"
- I colored a little bit in my coloring book after getting home and even said "WOW!" after coloring part of page and seeing how nice it looked.
- I helped Mommy and Daddy with laundry and then also helped clean out some of the clothes out of my drawers that no longer fit or are no longer appropriate for the weather.
- I ate yummy lasagna and fresh pears for dinner... I love pears (almost as much as I love bananas)!
- I kept singing "Twinkle, Twinkle" this evening, the first time while watching a kitty cat play the piano on YouTube and the second time after getting out of the bath tub and getting ready for bed.
Pears are DELICIOUS! |
YUM! Pears! |
Time for bed? Or jumping up and down on Mommy and Daddy's bed? |

Exciting Events of the Day:
- Had fun at Ms. Cheri's house playing monster trucks with Keegan and singing "Twinkle, Twinkle" and "Ring Around the Rosie" to baby Peyton. Ms. Cheri says I am such a good helper with Peyton... I try to keep her happy and pick up her pacifier and put it back in her mouth when she drops it.
- Mommy and I ate a quick dinner after she picked me up, then she took me to Ms. Sierra's house to play for a few hours while she worked the dance at her school.
- I was so excited to see Mommy when she came to Ms. Sierra's to pick me up that I nearly ran her over!
- Mommy was sad that she only got to see me for just a very short period of time today but will have much more time with me tomorrow.

Exciting Events of the Day:
- As soon as I got to Ms. Cheri's house today, I sat right down in the floor and said "shoes." I didn't even let Mommy take off my jacket first, I was worried about taking off my shoes. Mommy and Ms. Cheri helped me to take off my shoes and then Mommy asked me to put them where they go and I put them right beside Ms. Cheri's shoes.
- I wore a new shirt today that had the letters "C-U-T-E" on it. Ms. Cheri helped me practice how to say the word cute so I would know what my shirt said.
- Ms. Cheri said I was very mannerly today... I said "bless you" and "excuse me" a lot today.... and "thank you" (of course!). I also have started telling others when my diaper is "wet" and when I "poop." I get this embarrassed look on my face when I say it too... I am also showing more interest in my potty seat too.
- Both Mommy and Rebekah picked me up this afternoon, then we went back to the school. I enjoyed spending time with Rebekah and even got upset when Mommy put me in the car and Rebekah had to stand outside the car and wait. We went to Mommy's school and I got to spend about half an hour with Mommy's students at WyldLife club. I got to pick the raffle winners... I love doing that and helping Daddy!
- After WyldLife, we went to Hagerstown to pick up Daddy's glasses so while we were there, Daddy decided to go to Golden Corral for dinner... I got to eat pizza (a whole slice all by myself), pot roast, carrots, sweet potatoes, mac-n-cheese, and dessert (banana pudding) of course! YUM! The waitress even commented on how good of an eater I am... She was amazed!
- I fell asleep on the way back from Hagerstown... Mommy called it a "food coma" since I had eaten so much. But after my short nap, I didn't want to fall back asleep when it was bedtime. Mommy wasn't a happy camper!

My favorite sitting position... not really sitting, but squatting |
- Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let me sleep in this morning, even though it was the perfect day to sleep in... (rain falling and cool outside)
- I enjoyed my day at Ms. Cheri's. I wore my flashing lights shoes again (I love them!).
- Annie gave me her picture that she colored at her school of a rooster. Mommy told her we would hang it on our refrigerator.
- We had to go grocery shopping and couldn't do it on empty stomachs, so Daddy decided we should go to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner tonight. I loved the mac-n-cheese and smiley fries... YUM!
- I helped Mommy put away the groceries, then had a "picnic" with Daddy in the living room. We read "Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes" along with the song that Daddy downloaded that goes with it, then I watched funny cat videos on YouTube with Mommy... I love watching the "meow, meows" with Mommy... I love to laugh, point, and dance while they are being silly.

April 22, 2012- Happy Earth Day!

Exciting Events of the Day:
- I slept in until after 8:00... Mommy and Daddy were thrilled, especially since they had a late night.
- Grandma took some pictures of me with her flowers this morning on the way to brunch. I picked a few of the petals to smell and look at. The flowers are so beautiful!
- Grandma and Grandpa took Mommy, Daddy, and I to Bob Evans for brunch before we left town. While we were waiting for our table I made friends with nearly everyone that was waiting... I showed them my iPhone apps on Grandma's phone and Daddy's phone. I was a big hit! I had yummy chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream "dip" and fresh fruit. DELICIOUS!
- I slept nearly all the way from Charleston to Lexington, Virginia where we stopped for a quick bite of lunch. I stayed awake the rest of the trip and entertained myself in the back seat of the car reading, talking, singing, playing with my toys, playing with my shoes, and picking my toe fuzz (one of my favorite hobbies).
- After we got home and ate a little dinner, I colored with Mommy and then took a bath.
- Mommy and Daddy continue to be amazed at how good I am speaking and all of the things I say.
- After my bath, I climbed up into Mommy and Daddy's bed and when Daddy walked in and found me, he asked where I was going, so I told him, "bed." Mommy and Daddy's bed is much more comfortable, it doesn't seem fair that I have to sleep in the uncomfortable crib when their bed is so comfy and there is plenty of room for me.... they are so mean to not share!
