Memories from Today:

Had a rough night, at least Mommy helped me get through it. 

Had to stay home from school since I was so sick.  Strep causing nausea isn't much fun and leads to a super sick and weak little girl.  Threw up my new antibiotic and couldn't eat a bite of anything until dinner time.  At least it forced me to get some rest on the couch and forced Mommy to do extra laundry... sheets, blankets, couch slipcover, clothes.

At dinner time I tried a bite of a cracker and a bit of Ale-8 (the closest we had to ginger ale).  I ended up being able to eat some pasta and was able to take most of my night antibiotic.  I also was sitting up, wanting to cuddle, and playing on Mommy's phone which was a huge improvement from this morning.

We are hoping for a quick recovery and return to normal.  At least I have "nurse cats" to help me feel better.

Memories from Today:

Woke up complaining of a sore throat and was extra tired and whiney.  With some persuasion and ibuprofen, I toughed it out and made it through the day.  My teacher told Mommy that I felt a little worse toward the end of the day.

I seemed to feel better as the evening wore on and after a nap in the car and some restful cuddles with Mommy on the couch. 

I hope I'm feeling better tomorrow since it will be a super busy and fun day at school.  I'm even supposed to go early to help my teacher prepare.

Memories from Today:

Woke up so super tired and whiney.  Mommy said the STEAM night was so tiring for me.  She let me fall back asleep this morning and then took me straight to school.

I ended the school day with six tickets.  I've never had so many tickets in one day... I couldn't even remember how I earned them all.

Daddy took me to the dog park to play since the weather was gorgeous!

I played with Tori and the other kids at church then got to join the ladies in making crafts.   I made a bookmark that said "I Love God." 

Back at home, I dressed up with my "mask" and "sword."  Mommy thought I was super cute!

Mommy read me some lines to a play that she and Daddy are working on... it seemed super weird but also funny.

Memories from Today:

We to work with Daddy this morning since Mommy had a meeting out of the building.  Luckily he was at Mommy's school today which made it easier for him to take me to school.

At school, I got a new stuffed animal and had nearly finished my homework by the time that Mommy picked me up from school.

Went to an early dinner with Mommy and Ms. Pam.  I had to show Mommy how to get something on her phone to work after she couldn't figure it out.  I was so proud of myself that I did a "smarty dance."  I entertained myself with Snapchat as we waited for our food

Helped Mommy at the STEAM night at Marlowe.   I wad both helpful and had fun participating also.  I even won a couple of prizes!  It was a great night!

Memories from Today:

Brought two stuffed animals downstairs this morning and told Daddy that it was their birthday.

Had a great day at school... made a cell phone and laptop computer.  Mrs. Clark sent Mommy pictures and told her that I said, "hold on I'm texting my parents" when she called my name in class.  In gym class, I was the "mystery jogger" and we practiced dribbling the basketball.

Mommy and I ate at Chick-fil-a, I played in the play area, and instead of going to the park, I decided that Mommy and I would go geocaching instead.  We found three separate caches... some were quite tricky.

I think Mommy is going to let me help her at STEAM night tomorrow at one of the local schools.  She told me I had to behave and be a good helper.   I responded by saying, "cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye" (I told Mommy it was from My Little Pony).

Memories from Today:

Church day!  Decided.to wear my pink plaid dress to church even though it is way too small.

Had fun at church but wasn't too happy when Mommy and Daddy decided we were going to Taco Bell for lunch. 

We walked around the Home Show and I got lots of free goodies.  Mommy tried to convince me that I didn't need to pick up candy from every single table.

After a few stops, we finally made it home.  Mommy and I relaxed until Daddy got home.  We ate dinner and watched the movie Sing.  I love that movie but get frustrated when Mommy sings along.

Tomorrow is Monday!

Memories from Today:

Spent the morning at home, eating breakfast and playing video games... Daddy loves when I help him since I'm very good.  When Mommy woke up, I put on her glasses and said in a silly voice, "Look!  I'm Dr. Carrie Marcum!"  She couldn't help but laugh!

Mommy took me to a birthday party of one of my classmates.  It was a Moana theme.   We ate, played, and watched the movie in beanbags and on pillows in the floor.  It was fun!

After the party, Mommy took me to Chuck-e-Cheese.  I was so happy!  We ate pizza and played games, but I was just as happy to climb and play on the slide.  I still have lots of "tokens" to play again some other day.

Back at home, I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas and had a few "scout cookies" as a treat.

Memories from Today:

Spent some extra time with Mrs. Clark this morning since Mommy had an important meeting. 

School was fun but I'm glad it's Friday.

Daddy picked me up from school since Mommy had to work extra.  Daddy took me to play at the dog park after school. I found a boy to play tag.

When we got home, I watched My Little Pony and played Mario with daddy.

I'm glad tomorrow is sleep-in day.

Memories from Today:

Got ready quicker than normal and was extra proud of myself...Mommy was proud too.

School was great and I continued the theme of checking out animal books from the school library.  Today I picked out and brought home a book about bats.  They are fascinating!  I also brought home my report card.  Mommy was so proud of me!

Daddy picked me up from school and we were playing video games together by the time a Mommy got home from her training.   She surprised be by bringing home a few clothing items that she had bought me including several cute shirts and a pair of kitty leggings.

I spent some time with Ms. Kelly and Ms. Emily while Mommy and Daddy went to the YoungLife banquet and then watched the WVU sweet sixteen game.   I watched a bit of it at Ms. Kelly's but was only interested for a not.

I was home just in time for medicine and bed.   I am so thankful tomorrow is Friday!

Memories from Today:

Great day at school today.  Several of Mommy's co-workers gave me money for my coins for cancer which made me very happy and I got to bring home my completed alphabet book to share with Mommy and Daddy.  They were very proud of my work and loved seeing my drawings.

Daddy picked me up after school and we came home and played Mario for a bit while Mommy worked a little longer at her school.  I even helped him beat some of the harder levels!

Went to church with a spaghetti face thanks to Dad's cooking.   Tori and I made a few crafts.  I decided to make my own version of a stoplight... when I showed Mommy, I told her, "red is stop, green is go, and yellow is you choose."  We got a little wild playing with two boys that showed up to the second church meeting,  but had a lot of fun!

Memories from Today:

Wore my super cute Minnie Mouse shirt today. 

Had a shortened school day since the teachers had meetings this afternoon.   At least I still had music class.  Daddy took me to the park to play while Mommy was still working.  I had so much fun and had lots of kids to play with.

After dinner and a quick trip to Wal-Mart, Mommy and I came home and played Shopkins BINGO and watched a little television before bedtime.

Memories from Today:

Woke up feeling great!!!  My outfit was a hot mess and Mommy made me change even though Daddy said it was fine.

School was fun.  I earned four tickets today for doing my work, being good,  and bringing change for the Relay for Life.   We even learned a new song in gym class and made a fuzzy animal for the first day of spring!

After dinner with Mommy and Daddy, Mommy andI stopped at Dairy Queen to get free ice cream cones to celebrate the first day of spring... yum!!!  I entertained those around us, when the car in the drive thru line.  I had the entire family in the car cracking up.

At home, Mommy andI did crafts together... we tried out soma new glow in the dark paint, but it didn't glow as much as we had hoped.   We may add another coat tomorrow.

Mommy and Daddy were talking about the Mountaineers and how I will be spending a few hours on Thursday with Ms. Kelly while she and Daddy go to the YoungLife banquet and then watch the WVU game.  I was a little upset that I wouldn't be able to watch the game, so I said "Hopefully Ms. Kelly will turn on the football game."  Mommy and Daddy snickered a little though I'm not sure why.

Memories from Today:

Woke up feeling so much better!!!  Mommy still didn't let me go to church, not wanting me to spread my germs to the kids at church.

After a little more rest, Mommy thought I needed to get out of the house for a little while so we went to get a few craft supplies and then went to see Beauty and the Beast.  I ate popcorn and Skittles and thought the movie was great (but not what I expected... Mommy never figures out what I meant by that).

Mommy and I had dinner while Daddy was at his meeting.  I even got an ice cream sundae. 

After a shower, it was bedtime.

I'm feeling soooo much better and can't wait for school tomorrow!

Memories from Today:

Woke up extra whiney this morning.   Daddy gave me ibuprofen and sent me back to bed.  I slept until 9:30ish. 

I felt a little better when I woke back up but still didn't eat and laid around. 

I rested while watching the Mountaineers play basketball.  At one point Mommy reached over andI was burning up... my fever was 103.6!!!  Mommy and Daddy seemed super worried.   After some more meds, it came down enough that I felt like waving my pom-pom at the end of the WVU win. 

After the game, Mommy took me straight to urgent care.  By the time we got there my temperature was normal and I was feeling a bit better.  They diagnosed me with strep and said my ears also looked bad.  I wad just happy that I would get the good pink bubble gum meds. 

Mommy and I came home and watched a movie and cuddled on the couch.  My fever jumped up again as the ibuprofen wore off but quickly came back down.   Mommy was just happy that I was eating a bit and it helped that I drank nearly a whole slurpee with a gummy worm straw.  Yum!  Mommy said whatever it takes to get me to stay hydrated!

We video called Grandma and Grandpa then got ready for bed.  I will have to miss church tomorrow and rest to get better.

Memories from Today:

Woke up so sleepy but got dressed in my Lucky Charms shirt for St. Patrick's Day.  I was quiet and a bit whiney on the way to school and even at Mommy's school.  Just when Mommy thought she would have to head back home with me, I got some energy and wanted to go to school.  Mommy thinks I was afraid I'd missing something cool since it was a special day.

When Mommy picked me up from school, I had a leprechaun face in my backpack along with a pot of gold.  I also told Mommy that we had cupcakes!!! 

I looked a thousand times better this afternoon than this morning, but the energy passed quickly and I slept in the car for nearly 45 minutes.

I felt much better with another dose of medicine and a bit of Panera soup in my belly.  I spent over an hour playing Mario with Daddy before getting ready for bed.

Memories from Today:

 

Woke up and it was daylight.  I was surprised to find out that we had another snow day and that I felt better than last night.

 

Daddy and I played video games and I cane upstairs every so often to ask Mommy when she was getting out of bed. 

 

I had a slight fever off and on during the day but still didn't want to eat anything.  Mommy now thinks I just have a cold of some sort since I have a phlemy cough, stuffy nose, and sore throat and since my fever wasn't too high.  Since I seemed to be in the mend, she decided not to take me to see Dr. Wear today, afraid I would come into contact with other germs.

 

We cuddled on the couch most of the day, watching the rest of Pete's Dragon from last night as well as the WVU basketball game.  I tried teaching Mommy how to play our new video game, but at one point it was easier just to take the controller from her and do it myself.

 

Daddy replaced at electrical outlet and had to turn the power off for a few minutes.  I told Mommy, "you can turn off the power but you cannot turn off love."  She thought I was very profound, whatever that means.

 

Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day.  I can't wait to go to school and see if we have a special snack!  Hopefully I'm feeling better!

Memories from Today:

Woke up this morning extra whiny and complaining of a sore throat.  After getting dressed, I felt much better and was ready for school.  Thank goodness for a 2 hour delay!

Mommy was very busy at her school this morning and I was so afraid she wouldn't be back in her office in time to take me to school, bit she got back just in time.

Had fun at school and even got my school pictures.  I couldn't wait to show Mommy!

Daddy picked me up from school and I wasn't feeling so great.  We played a game and rested on the couch playing a video game while waiting for Mommy to get home.  

I didn't really want to eat or drink.  Mommy tried taking me to Med Express but there was over an hour wait and the pharmacy would be closing about the time we would leave which would mean no meds tonight.  She decided to call my doctors office tomorrow morning if I'm still not feeling the best.

The best news about being sick is that I get to sleep with Mommy (sorry Daddy!)

Memories from Today:

Snow day!!!  So excited once I woke up and looked out the window that it was hard to go back to sleep.  I did let Mommy and Daddy both sleep a bit longer and entertained myself.

I played a bit in the snow while Daddy shoveled and then helped him get brunch ready for when Mommy got up.  I ate 4 boiled eggs!!!  I even ate some of the yellow part! 

We spent some of the day resting and playing video games, watching tv, and did a little reorganizing at the house.  I tried to help as much as I could although I wanted to go back outside so bad!

Finally, Mommy and Daddy and I went sledding.  We had so much fun and I went super fast on the sled.  I also three snowballs at Mommy and Daddy and tried making a snow angel, but the snow was a little too packed.

Mommy made me hot cocoa with whipped cream when we got home... yum!

We watched one of our favorite movies, Hotel Transylvania 2 together. 

After dinner, I had a yummy pudding dessert with more whipped cream!  What a great day!
