- I woke up all by myself at 6:10 this morning. I went downstairs and found Daddy and had him get me breakfast. I kept asking him for muffins.
- I wore a cute pink shirt with flowers on it and jeans and my tan shoes. I was super cute today!
- We rode in the church van again today since Mommy's car went back to the shop. I like riding in the van because I can see out of it so much better.
- At Ms. Cheri's, my nose kept running today. She wiped my nose all day! She told Mommy I was really good about covering my mouth when I sneezed or coughed though.
- After Mommy picked me up, we stopped at the store for a few minutes. I asked for oranges, but Mommy said we already had some at home.
- We stopped to pick up a pizza since Mommy wasn't feeling too well either and Daddy was gone for the evening. We went home to eat it. It was delicious! I ate one whole cheese breadstick and a small slice of pizza with pineapples. YUM!
- After dinner, Mommy and I spent much of the evening cuddling on the couch since we weren't feeling too well.
- Before medicine time, Mommy had me come look at the big bookcase and I found lots of colorful stockings. Each one had a number. Mommy told me that one of the stockings had a candy cane in it, so I started feeling each one. She finally told me to look at the number 6 and showed me which one it was. I pulled them halfway down in the process of trying to get it out then had to have Mommy help get it out. (Note from Mommy: I was supposed to have her start on December 1st, but I was too busy working on my college coursework to remember... better late than never). I made quite a mess with the candy cane. I kept biting it, then was left with two small slimy pieces and really gooey hands. But I loved it! (I had a couple of candy canes before, but they never were quite this messy.)
- After medicine (we did both kinds tonight), it was time for bed. I got "The Very Busy Spider" or what I call the "spider book," and I read it all by myself. I kept turning the page and saying "busy spinning her web," "busy spinning her web." Mommy thought it was cute. I refused to put a new shirt on saying it was sticky. Mommy even got a brand new clean shirt out of the drawer and I refused it too saying it was sticky too. Mommy finally had to hold me down to get me to wear a shirt. She was afraid I would get cold in bed without one. I fell asleep holding Mommy's hand, how sweet!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- Daddy woke me up at about 5 minutes before 6:00 since it was an early morning.
- For breakfast, I had chocolate chip muffins.
- I looked at my sticker book on the way to Ms. Cheri's house. I kept wanting Mommy to help me, but she was too busy driving.
- Once at Ms. Cheri's, I was clingy toward Mommy but was interested in seeing the kitties and bunnies so I went to Ms. Cheri when Mommy left.
- I ate lasagna and fruit for lunch and Keegan shared his motorcycle toy with me throughout the day... he is too sweet!
- When Mommy picked me up, I was watching Curious George with Keegan. Ms. Cheri says there are new episodes this week.
- Once we got home, Daddy fixed us dinner. We had grilled cheese and Ramen noodles. I like picking up the Ramen noodles with my hand and stretching them out. I even tried to play with Gemma with the noodle like it was a string, dangling it and shaking it in front of her.
- After dinner, Daddy let me eat an Oreo cookie. I even dunked it in milk like he did before eating it.
- I played with Mommy's iPad and tried to do dishes and hugged/tackled Gemma over and over again.
- My nose is running a bit today... Mommy hopes I'm not getting sick.

- I woke up yelling, "Daddy! Daddy!" at 5:45 this morning.
- Mommy took me downstairs to Daddy. I ate breakfast and got ready to start my day.
- Daddy dressed me in a cute pink and purple plaid shirt and pants that looked like blue jeans but were softer.
- I'm glad Mommy remembered to send my sticker book with me to Ms. Cheri's house. I love it!
- Ms. Cheri put a hair clip in my hair and I left it in after Mommy picked me up.
- We went to Mommy's school which made me very excited. Some high school girls that Mommy knows were there singing and getting ready for a concert. I sang a few songs with them and even "auditioned" with the choir director. It was fun!
- I got to ride in the car with Daddy to take Kendall and Trevor home after WyldLife then Daddy got us dinner.
- I spent the evening with Daddy playing and carrying around my basket and helping sort and put away clean clothes.
- Mommy got home just in time to see me and read a story with me and Daddy before I fell asleep. She's been so busy lately. I hope she gets to spend more time with me soon.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- I decided to wake up with Daddy this morning at 5:50. Daddy usually gets up earlier, but turned his alarm clock off. I heard him moving around and decided to go ahead and get up.
- Daddy gave me some cereal with milk. It was the first time he let me have my own bowl and spoon. Normally if I have milk with my cereal it is when I share with Daddy.
- We got ready for the day and I wore the cutest dark purple shirt and my stretchy grey pants that look like jeans. I decided to wear my flashy sneakers even though they are getting too small for my feet.
- As soon as we got to Ms. Cheri's, I was already worried about my gummy snacks and whether Mommy had packed them or not. It's the small things in life that are most important.
- When Mommy picked me up from Ms. Cheri's my hair was in a ponytail and I had a cute hair clip in the front of my hair. I was too cute! I left my hair up nearly the rest of the evening, though it did start sliding out a little.
- We stopped the van in front of the house to pick up Daddy and as soon as I saw him coming out of the house, I said, "Get my sticker book, Daddy? My sticker book?" because Friday when we picked him up at the house, he did bring me my sticker book out to the van.
- We went and picked up Mommy's car from a place with lots and lots of pretty, shiny cars then went to eat dinner at Chick-fil-a. Mommy loves it there and Daddy only wants to go when the high school has a Spirit Night, so we went to help tonight. I got to play in the playground and even made new friends. It was fun. During dinner, I tried a cherry tomato thinking it was a grape... what a surprise. It tasted nothing like a grape!
- When we got home, I found a box waiting for me that had been delivered in the mail. It was from Sherry, Jeff, and Jimmy. It was a cute elf apron, a Christmas book with a kitty on the front, and bubble wrap. The bubble wrap was most exciting tonight... I don't weigh enough to pop it by standing or walking on it, so Mommy showed me that if I stomp or jump on it that it works better. It was so much fun! I even tried to lay books on the bubble wrap, then walk around them. Mommy is sure I will be more interested in the book and apron tomorrow. I did say "Goody...Goody!" when looking at the book.
- After a little relaxation with Mommy and Daddy, it was time for bed. Once in bed, I asked for my key since I've been carrying around Mommy's loose key that was used at the shop and have been using it to "lock" the front door of the house to help Mommy and Daddy.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- I decided I wanted to be up as early as normal today. I woke up at 6:30 and was only content to cuddle with Mommy and Daddy for about 10 minutes before Mommy finally had to take me downstairs.
- We ate breakfast and cuddled on the couch while watching a little television. I even watched a new show called Bo on the Go! which Mommy thought was a little different, but I liked it.
- When Daddy woke up it was time to get ready for church. He picked out my pretty butterfly dress for me to wear and my pink tights. I picked my tan shoes, even though Mommy thought that black would have looked better.
- Today was the Christmas tree decorating service at church. We kept taking turns going up front to put ornaments and other decorations on the tree after Major Story explained what each one symbolized. I got to hang an angel, one red ornament (I loved looking at my reflection in that one), and two silver ornaments. I dropped the white one I had and it shattered on the steps... Oops! I loved hanging them on the tree and it was beautiful. I also got to put the star on top of the tree with Daddy's help. We couldn't quite reach the top but it was close enough. I was so proud to be able to help.
- While the service was going on, I found a note that Daddy had written to show the Storys who were on stage running the service. I decided to color all over it. Mommy thought it was hilarious that I colored on Daddy's signs two days in a row. She probably won't think it is quite as funny when I color on something of hers.
- I found a cassette tape and decided to use it to take pretend pictures around the church. I held it up to my face like a camera and said, "Cheese!"
- The funniest moment at church was when we were singing one of the Christmas songs, I decided I wanted to sing my own song at the same time, so I started singing Justin Bieber's "Baby" song really loud. Mommy and Daddy couldn't quit laughing. They thought I was so silly.
- After church we went to eat a quick lunch then went to Petsmart to get cat food. I loved seeing the dogs in the store and even got to pet a really nice one. There were lots of kitties and fishies too. I love the pet store and after we left I asked to see more animals.
- I fell asleep right in front of the house in the van but Daddy went ahead and carried me up to bed for my nap.
- After my nap and a little play time with Daddy, I got to go to Ms. Sierra's for a few hours while Mommy and Daddy did some work and went to the YoungLife Christmas party. I had a great time looking at their Christmas decorations.
- Once at home, Mommy gave me an early Christmas present from Carol, a puppy dog and book that goes with it. Every time Mommy said certain words, it would bark or whine. It was very cute and I can't wait to have more time to play with it. Thanks Carol!
- I took my sticker book upstairs to play with until time to fall asleep.
- It has been a long day and I think I have to go back to Ms. Cheri's to get any rest!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- Daddy didn't wake me up this morning, so I thought I should wake him up at about 7:00.
- After eating my breakfast and watching a bit of television, I decided to help Daddy do some dishes in the kitchen. I love doing dishes (playing in the water).
- I watched a little more television... Daddy even let me try to watch Barney but I didn't like it. I stuck with watching George, Diego, and Dora.
- Once Mommy woke up, I helped her eat her donut and cuddled with her on the couch. She let me watch Franny's Feet which is such a silly show about a girl who tries on other people's shoes... Mommy thinks the show is encouraging me to continue wearing every one's shoes.
- Mommy had to go to the library for a while to work on some things, so I stayed with Daddy. We listened to the Martinsburg football game on the radio while eating lunch. Daddy cooked me a grilled cheese and mac-n-cheese. Mommy would never have let me eat both of those for lunch! Martinsburg won! Daddy was so happy!
- Daddy took me for a walk to the park to play at the playground. I love playing outside! Daddy was glad the weather wasn't too cold today so I could play.
- We listened to the WVU game... Let's go Mountaineers!!! They won too! What a day for football!
- Once Mommy got home and we hung out for a little bit, we bundled up in our coats and mittens and went for walk in the dark. I didn't know where we were going, but we ended up at the Christmas parade. It was so much fun watching and waving at everyone. I especially liked waving at the girls with the pretty crowns on their heads, the bands ("Drums Mommy! Drums!") and the little boy who walked out of his way to bring me a candy cane. He was so sweet.
- While we warmed up a bit, Mommy cooked dinner and Daddy started drawing on poster board. When he got up to fix his plate for dinner, I decided to help decorate his poster. I colored all over it. He couldn't help but laugh and take pictures of me so intently coloring. He was making a poster to take to meet the football team but decided not to take it after I colored it. Mommy said he should take it anyway.
- After dinner, we went for another walk in the dark. This time we went to Daddy's school to cheer on the football team as they arrived home. Daddy said something about a 3-peat, whatever that means. I was stubborn and didn't want to wear my hat or hood but did manage to keep my mittens on most of the time.
