A Year in the Life of our Little Girl

Alyson's Memorable Moments of the Day:

I returned to Ms. Cheri's with my Minnie Mouse shirt on and my Minnie ears. It was just the two of us today. I missed Keegan!
I kept asking for more bread at dinner.... I'm definitely Mommy's girl.
I played in, around, and on my new Barbie tent. Daddy even played Peekaboo with me and I even got Mommy inside the tent. I made my own fort with my bus, pillows, my basket, and even the ipad close by. Gemma even got inside for a little while.
I also played with my new bucket of letters and numbers. It sings the ABC song (one of my favorites).

Alyson's Memorable Moments of the Day:

I kept rolling my crayonsto Mommy at Buffalo Wild Wings during lunch... It was hilarious watching them roll on the table. I made a motion beside of my high chair and said "Splash!" Mommy asked what it was and I told her, "a turtle had just jumped into the water." (Mommy was afraid she would fall into the "water" too.) I also loved playing peekaboo with the wings.
I played with my new umbrella from the Puffinburgers. I kept saying, "It's raining!" while running around inside the house holding it.
I read one of my favorite books all by myself. I said, "Hear me... Hear me..." then turned the page and said it again. At the end I said, "Everybody!" then said, "That's a good story." (The book was Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?)
Mommy and I worked my new Thomas the Train puzzle (from Alice) on my table. We put it together and took it back apart 5 times.
While helping Mommy with laundry, I decided to hide under the laundry basket with a toy... I called it my "dog house."

Alyson's Memorable Moments of the Day:

It was great to wake up in my own bed this morning!
I wanted to go to church this morning, but Mommy said it was Saturday and we had to wait until tomorrow.
We looked at LOTS of puppy dogs today. I even got to pet a couple. They were sweet!
I built a block tower several times today, even once knocking it over with my butt.
I piled lots of blocks on Mommy's computer while she was using it... she thought it was funny.

Alyson's Memorable Moments of the Day:

I found some lost toys in Gracie's bed. She must have been playing with them when I wasn't looking.
Grandma and Grandpa packed all of my things from their house and took me to Morgantown to meet Mommy and Daddy. I smiled so big and got so excited when I saw Mommy and Daddy!
Played on the big playground at Burger King in Morgantown... Mommy even had to climb up to help me.
I got to play with Mommy and Daddy's phones on the way home. I think they were just trying to keep me awake.
Glad to be home.... even gave Gemma a big hug and kiss.

Alyson's Memorable Moments of the Day:

I got to visit the doggy beauty parlor when Grandpa went to pick up Gracie.
Alice stopped by to visit and play with me. I showed her how I play dress up.
Everytime Grandpa picks up his drink off the coaster on the table, I put mine down in its place.
Grandpa mentioned something about seeing Mommy and Daddy tomorrow... I can't wait!

Alyson's Memorable Moments of the Day:

I took a great self-portrait.
Wore Grandma's bracelet like handcuffs to be silly.
Got an energy burst at bedtime... Grandma and Grandpa were not amused.
Finally fell asleep with my ladybug.... it shines the stars and the moon on the ceiling.

Alyson's Memorable Moments of the Day:

Watched the Rose Bowl Parade and saw the floats Mommy helped build. I loved the marching bands!
I ate ham and cabbage for dinner... Grandma says it is a tradition.
I taught Lucy the alphabet.
I miss Mommy and Daddy but think I will see them soon.
