Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • Some how I lost an hour this morning.  I woke up when I thought it was 7:30 only to find out that it was already 8:30.  I'm not sure how that happened.
  • I wore my cute kitty cat shirt and jeans to church this morning.  It looked especially cute with my red shoes and red and white striped hair clip.  Mommy and Daddy told me I looked beautiful with my hair fixed like that.
  • After church and lunch, we walked around the mall and there were way more people than normal there.  There were also lots of things to look at.  I got an flag to wave around, a red balloon, and even a Lowe's kid's apron.  It was lots of fun and Daddy even let me play at the indoor playground for a bit.
  • It was nap time when we got home, then when I woke up, I played and ate and even colored pictures.  I even drew a couple of circles and added them to the artwork collection on the refrigerator.  I also got to talk to Pawpaw Randall tonight.  I sang Jingle Bells and Twinkle, Twinkle.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I was wide awake this morning, of course since I didn't have to be.  Daddy and I ate breakfast and played and let Mommy sleep in a little.  I couldn't help myself and kept running up to show her things or to play with her.  She finally gave up and got out of bed close to 9:00 even though she wanted to sleep longer.
  • Daddy put my hair in pigtails and it looked super cute.  Mommy snapped a few pictures before I could take them out.  For some reason, when Mommy asks me to smile, I immediately close my eyes.
  • After gettind ready, we went to Hagerstown to play at the mall playground.  I love playing there!  Daddy even let me ride the horses so it was extra fun!
  • We ate japanese food for lunch and it was delcious!
  • After returning home and taking a nap, I spent the evening with Ms. Sierra so Mommy and Daddy could go out on a date.   She took me to the playground, I got to blow bubbles, and play with Rebekah.  Then, I ran all around Ms. Sierra's house until Mommy and Daddy picked me up.  I had so much fun!

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I was super tired this morning, but moved a little quicker once Mommy and Daddy reminded me it was Donut Friday!
  • When Mommy picked me up from Ms. Cheri's, I had a black bow clip in my hair.  It was Courtney's and she had fixed my hair.  Mommy thought I looked super cute!
  • Ms. Cheri told Mommy that I had asked to use the big girl potty once today (for the first time with her) but it was too late, I had already gone in my diaper.  I'm trying!
  • I looked all around the front of the house for more snow before going inside.
  • Daddy handed me a pocket watch he had found in the house and I spent a while looking at it and playing with it trying to figure it out.
  • Mommy went out for a little bit with friends and Daddy and I ate Wendy's for dinner.  I had a few chicken nuggets and a few bites of a Frosty...  Most of it ended up on my pretty white shirt instead of my mouth.
  • Mommy got back home just in time to help put laundry away.  Mommy says I am getting to be such a big girl since I am helping put my own clothes away.  I even bump the drawer with my hip to close it, just like Mommy does.
  • After laundry time, I played in the laundry basket, even holding Daddy's belt up in the air, swinging it around calling it a lasso and "my rope" (like Diego) then Mommy and I played on her bed for a few minutes being silly.  It was fun!

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • Woke up close to 7:00 this morning.  It was nice to sleep in a bit, but we still had to get ready to go to Ms. Cheri's .... just a little later than normal.
  • On the way to the car, I checked on my snowman from yesterday.  It was a little smaller than it was yesterday and it had no eyes or nose.  I saw its carrot on the ground and had to replace it before I would even consider getting into the car to leave.  Mommy warned me that he probably wouldn't be there when we got  home and said our snowman friends are only around for a short time then the sun takes them away.
  • When we got home, the snowman was gone.  I told Mommy, "Make a new snowman" and walked toward where all the snow was yesterday and only found a small patch of snow.  I reached down with my hand and picked up a tiny piece but realized it wasn't enough to make a new one.  I was sad, then Mommy pointed out a box on the porch that had my name on it.  It was a gift from my cousin Sherry.  I couldn't wait to open it.  Inside was a new denim jacket with Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, and Easter card, and McDonalds cash.  I was so excited and had to try on my jacket right away.  I also put my McDonalds money down the front of my jacket.
  • Mommy and I watched Happy Feet tonight while Daddy was away.  It was so cute and funny.  I liked it a lot.
  • I also played a few games on the iPad.  I especially liked playing with my "Talking Ginger" app.  I loved getting the kitty to repeat what I was saying and repeat my laugh.  I kept giggling and throwing my head back laughing.  I even got Mommy laughing too.
  • While getting ready for bed, Mommy and I read a couple books.  One of them was a book called Bible Songs.  We sang Jesus Loves the Little Children, Jesus Loves Me, and my favorite, This Little Light of Mine.  (Mommy will choose to remember this sweet moment instead of the meltdown tantrum, including throwing my turtle toy, that I had trying to fall asleep)

March 6, 2013- Snow Day!

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I woke up close to 6:30 even though I could have slept in.  I was trying to figure out why Mommy and Daddy were sleeping so late on a Wednesday, but then I saw that it was snowing outside.  I was so excited!
  • After Mommy got up and ate breakfast I thought it was time to go play in the snow, so I put my boots on and told Mommy and Daddy that I was ready to go out.  They told me it wasn't time yet and that if we waiting a little longer we would have more snow to play in.  I sat in my pink chair crying, taking off my boots because I was mad they wouldn't take me outside.
  • After Mommy looked at the weather, we finally went outside another hour or two later, once she realized the snow was almost over and that it would just melt away.
  • Mommy and I made a miniature snowgirl.  She had stick arms, oreo cookie eyes, a carrot nose, wore a pink hat and my sketcher shoes.  She looked so cute!   I also threw a couple of snowballs into the street and helped Daddy shovel the little bit of slush on the sidewalk.  We were supposed to get way more snow than this, but I can't complain since I got to stay home and had enough snow to make a snowman.
  • Mommy and I read my Pete the Cat book several times, the listened to the audio version of it several times, then watched the YouTube video version as well.  I love that book!  I would turn the pages while listening to or watching the different versions.  Mommy was impressed that I could keep up with what page I was supposed to be on.
  • After Mommy went to do her online class, Daddy and I played with the stick horse.  I rode it all through the house.  It was fun!  I also helped with laundry and even played hide-and-go-seek in my laundry basket.
