Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • Another early morning... when will it be the weekend again? I was more awake this morning than yesterday, but still tired.
  • I wore my cute guitar shirt to Ms. Cheri's house and even started "playing" the guitar and making noises as soon as we got to her house.  She thought I was silly.  I couldn't wait to show her my "phone" that Keegan uses to "call" me.
  • When Mommy picked me up at the end of the day, I was super excited.  We stopped at the post office to mail my birthday invitations.  I put them in the box one at a time.  Then, Mommy picked me up so I could see that all the invitations had dropped into the box.  We said goodbye to them and walked out of the post office.
  • We beat Daddy home today.  I was a little confused by that since he is always home when we get there.
  • After dinner, Daddy went somewhere.  Mommy said he was going to "dig a hole," whatever that means.
  • Mommy and I weeded some in the front of the house.  I was a big helper and picked up the weeds and put them in the bag for Mommy while she cut.  I also played hopscotch and talked to the people who walked by the house.  While playing hopscotch, I decided to "decorate my hopscotch."  I brought a cup of leaves over and scattered them on the hopscotch to decorate it.
  • After helping Mommy, we took the dogs for a walk to Ms. Brittny's house, then Jillian and Ms. Brittny walked with us.  Mommy and Ms. Brittny talked almost the whole time, so Jillian and I just walked by ourselves, doing super-tricks and being silly.  It was fun!
  • Before bed, Daddy was singing one of the songs he is playing a portion of for the football game, "Everybody's hands go up...."  so I finished the chorus of the song for him, "and they stay there, and they stay there... up, down, up, down, up, down."  Mommy and Daddy just laughed at me.  They say I'm a sponge since I remember (and often repeat) everything that I hear.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • For some reason, Daddy decided to wake me up very early this morning.  I was so tired, but Daddy still made me get up close to 6:00.  I was not amused.  I laid around on the couch barely touching my breakfast and watching a show on television while Mommy and Daddy continued getting ready.
  • I wore a cute little skirt to Ms. Cheri's this morning and was happy to take my invitations to Ms. Cheri and Payton... Keegan won't get his until he is at Ms. Cheri's next Monday.
  • I pointed out the beautiful sky to Mommy and reminded her as she reminds me, "Got painted it for us."  Mommy and I like to thank God for the beautiful sky and beautiful colors he shares with us.
  •  I had fun at Ms. Cheri's and was her big helper.  I even got to sit at the big girl table again.
  • On the way home, Mommy asked me what kind of food I wanted to have at my birthday party in a few weeks, so after thinking a little bit, I said, "Sprinkles.  Shiny sprinkles on my Perry cupcakes."  I held up four fingers and said, "that's how many kinds of sprinkles I want... red, blue, green, and red."  Mommy called Grandma and she said she can't have sprinkles, so she asked if I would like to have pizza too so she could eat some.  I said it would be okay.
  • Once at home, I picked up the "mail" (newspapers) off the front porch and ran in to visit Daddy.  I was excited that I had an envelope to open.  It was from Geoffrey the Giraffe and was a coupon from Toys R Us to go shopping for my birthday.  I was so excited!
  • After dinner of beanie weenies, mac-n-cheese, and fries, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for trivia.  We just played and I drank chocolate milk.  It was fun.  I wore a band-aid to keep me from scratching at a bug bite.  It had Ernie on it.  I got to play the big flashy game when Mommy and Daddy had finished their trivia contest.  When we left there, I saw the carnival and the rides moving and all lit up.  I asked Mommy to take me to ride the roller coaster, but Daddy said it was a school night, whatever that means.
  • At home, I was happy to see stars up in the sky.  It seems like I have only seen clouds lately at night time.  I was quick to go to sleep, but upset I couldn't see the stars well out of my window.
  • The last two nights, I have been playing with a small green toy that sounds like a cell phone ringer.  I told Mommy and Daddy that it was Keegan calling me and even had a pretend conversation with him walking around the house.
  • For the past few days, Mommy and I have been giving each other "eskimo kisses."  She keeps telling me I am stealing her freckles by rubbing them off from her nose to my nose.  She says that is why I keep getting more freckles on my nose.  I keep rubbing noses with her to give them back after I take them, but I think the whole process is funny and we get the giggles.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I played with Daddy and the doggies and ate breakfast.  Mommy slept in.
  • I played with my balloon and ball, rode my scooter, played in my tunnel and tent while Mommy ate breakfast and relaxed a bit.
  • I helped Daddy with dishes and laundry.
  • Mommy cooked us noodles and grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch... delicious!  I also drank juice out of a big girl cup with a straw.  I'm getting to be really good at the big girl cups.
  • After lunch, it was nap time.  I took a nice, long nap then was ready to go.
  • Daddy took Mommy and I to War Memorial Park to play on all of the playgrounds.  I also got to see where my birthday party will be in a few weeks.  I met a new friend or two and tried out all of the slides and merry-go-rounds.  I also climbed everything that I could.  I'm such a daredevil.  Mommy and Daddy walked me over to the creek and even let me get in and walk around.  Daddy kept turning over rocks like he was looking for something, so I turned some over too.  I was more interested in chasing the leaves that were floating with the current.  I was very excited when I caught a few of them.  Daddy saw some critters under the rocks, but wasn't able to catch them.  It was fun and my bottom got wet.
  • Once back at home, I drew "my first name" on the sidewalk with chalk and even said, "M, N, O" while writing it.  I also put on my sunglasses (upside down like always) so Mommy had to snap a few pics of me since I was so cute!
  • I spent some of the evening next to Mommy on the couch.  I wanted to watch videos about Pluto the dog so Mommy let me watch them on the computer next to her while she was on her computer.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I woke up and relaxed in bed with Mommy while Daddy walked the dogs.
  • I ate waffles for breakfast... YUM!
  • I wore a beautiful black and white dress with a red ribbon on it to church this morning.  I felt like a princes.  Mommy and Daddy told me I looked beautiful.
  • I picked up leaves and a flower to take to Sierra at church and was disappointed to find out that Sierra was at camp instead of at church with me.  I played with the ball and jumping frog before the service started, then was a very big girl and stayed quiet with Mommy and Daddy until church was over.
  • While walking home, I found a very cool rock.  Mommy said it looked like a "space rock" but Daddy kinda rolled his eyes at her.  I thought it was cool, even though it didn't taste good.  Mommy told me not to put it in my mouth, so I told her "I was just licking it."
  • At McDonald's for lunch, a nice lady working there was worried that I didn't get a toy, so she gave me one.  It is a floating Ronald McDonald and she says it will float in the bath tub.  Even though I had just had a bath a couple hours earlier, I told Mommy I needed another one.
  • After my nap, I played with my scooter, bus, balloon, and iPad.  I even got to run in the sprinkler in the back yard.
  • After a yummy dinner of chicken, shells and cheese, broccoli and corn, I played with my tent and tunnel in the living room.
  • Mommy and I spent some time on the front porch watching the storm.  I liked the lightning, but wasn't a huge fan of the thunder.  I was very clingy to Mommy whenever I heard the thunder.  I kept touching the parts of the porch that were wet with my hands and feet and leaving footprints and handprints on the dry sections of the porch.  I also sang and danced on the porch.  Mommy and I relaxed and cuddled under the blanket for quite a while as it poured the rain.
  • Once back inside, I kept throwing Littles's toy into my tent and tunnel to get her and Indy to play inside with me.  Mommy was laughing.  I did have a meltdown when I couldn't get my tent to stay upside down like a "dig pit."  Finally, I figured out that if I was in it, it would stay like that and not fall over.
  • I helped Daddy hang up a few pictures.  I helped him with the measuring tape.  He even hung up some of my art work.  I was super excited!
