Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said...

• "This is Halloween, This is Halloween... Halloween, Halloween, This is Halloween" (while eating lunch at Bob Evans... the waitress said, "someone must like "Nightmare Before Christmas," and Mommy said, "No, we just sang that song to her at Halloween and she remembered").
• "You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I'm telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town" (sang just about 3 minutes after the Halloween song when a man with a big white bushy beard walked into Bob Evans and sat down at a nearby table).

 I did...

• Mommy and I played "golf course" with tennis balls.  I used a Nerf dart as my "stick" and I had Mommy use a ruler as her "stick."  We hit the balls into buckets and Littles chased them. 
• Mommy and I watched Daddy throw boiling water in the air and watched it turn to snow.  Mommy said it only worked because it was probably the coldest day of the year.  It was so cold that Mommy and Daddy didn't even have to go to work today.
• I went to see what might become my new school today.  I loved it and immediately played with the kids in there and the teacher told Mommy and Daddy and the lady that was giving them the tour how smart I was within 5 minutes of me being in her room.  She seemed surprised.
• We shopped at four different stores for a new light without finding one we liked.
• Had a brief nosebleed...  Mommy said it was probably from the dry air.
• Went to trivia at Buffalo Wild Wings... everyone talked about how much they missed me last week.  Daddy and I were able to balance crayons on the table.

Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said...

• "They have to go rescue somebody.  There is probably a kid or kittens up high in a tree" (as we drove past the fire station this morning and saw the warning lights flashing).
• "They must be back from their mission... it must be over" (when we went back past the fire station in the afternoon).
• "Plié and stretch, plié and stretch" (while dancing as Mommy was trying to wiggle me into my tights and leotard for dance class). 

 I did...

• I wore my new fuzzy leg warmers to class since it was so cold.  I had to show them off to Ms. Kayla, my teacher.
• Made up songs about almost everything, getting dressed for dance class, getting dressed in my footy pjs, coloring with my markers.
• I gave out stickers to Mommy, Daddy, and even gave one to Littles.
• I had Mommy draw a picture of herself, then I drew a picture of me on another page.  I also drew a picture of myself beside Mommy's picture of her since we are best friends.
• I drew a circle and my letter (A), Mommy's letter (C), and Daddy's letter (J) on the same paper.  Mommy and Daddy were so proud.

Alyson's Antics for the Day:


I said...

• "I don't call it fettuccine, I call it fettunini" (while Mommy cooked fettuccine alfredo for dinner).
• Sorry crayons, accidents happen!  I have to rescue my crayon" (as her marker rolled under the table as she colored while laying on the floor."

 I did...

• Slipped and slid all the way home from church.  It was strange because it was raining, but there was just ice on all the sidewalks.
• Dressed myself for church.  Mommy didn't realize until we got home from church that I was wearing my pants backward the entire time.
• Colored pictures for Mommy and her friend Carol.  I drew a great smiley face and Mommy was very excited about it.
• I made up my own song about it being cold outside, Mommy couldn't follow what I was saying.
• I posed for pictures with my furry family members, even though they weren't quite sure about it.

Alyson's Antics for the Day:


I said...

• "I want a mini broom for Christmas so I can sweep away all the snow."
• "I wonder what's under the snow."
• (Both of the above were said while looking out the window when Daddy was driving us to Morgantown for the day.)
• "Old McFarmer had a dog..." (singing)

 I did...

• Made Daddy stop less than 2 miles from the house because "I had to go potty" then didn't have to go once we were there. 
• Said "Amen" quite loud at the end of the prayer at a funeral I attended today, after everyone else had said "Amen."
• I took pictures of my dress, Mommy, and Daddy while we were eating dinner with our friend Ed in Morgantown
• Got upset because Daddy accidentally broke my light fixture on the ceiling in my room.  It is okay though because Mommy said Daddy would take me shopping tomorrow to buy a new one and he let me have one of his DJ spinning lights on in my room for tonight. 
• I tried to fit in my baby doll's stroller, but got stuck.

Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said...

• "I'm your monster" (to Mommy while walking up wearing my new hooded monster jacket).
• "Mommy, can we please play in the snow in the morning time?" (in a whisper in Mommy's ear).
• "I'm hungry and I want to eat muffins in the morning" (yelled in Mommy's ear through the shop-vac extension).
• "Tomorrow when I wake up, I have to go rescue Diego and Baby Jaguar.  They are in trouble.  I will have to ride my scooter there" (told Mommy as she was putting me to bed).

 

I did...

• Made "my house" on the back of the couch under the curtain.
• For dessert after dinner I had a little bit of a lollipop that Mommy had bought me.
• I "cured" two of my boo-boos with the help of ice and cold paper towels from Mommy and Daddy.
• Mommy and I took silly pictures with her cell phone while watching "The Princess and the Frog."

Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said...

• "Tag!  You're it, Indy!  You can't catch me.  I'm too fast!"
• "I'm a crocodile.  Chomp!  Chomp!" (while opening and closing my hands like a mouth)

I did...

• We didn't go anywhere so I stayed in my pjs all day.
• While looking for my snow boots, I put a pink sandal on my foot and said it looked like a good shoe to wear to play in the snow.
• I gave my baby dolls drinks from my juice box and told Mommy "they were thirsty."
• I sat in the laundry basket with my babies.
• I got up from dinner wearing Littles's lobster toy hooked to both of my feet, dragging it behind me while I followed Daddy into the kitchen.

Alyson's Antics for the Day: 


I said...

• "I wish I could hold the moon."  Mommy then asked what I would do with it if I could hold it.  I told her, "I would put it in my room with the other moon (projected with my turtle) so they could be friends and I could sleep with them."
• "I like this song.  I want to listen to this song so I can listen to the notes."

I did...

• I wore swimming goggles while watching part of the Rose Bowl parade with Mommy and Daddy.
• I put a small belt around my chest and told Mommy it was "my badge so I can go hunting."
