Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said...

• "It smells like purple" (when smelling the flowers in front of the house and explaining to Mommy what it smells like).
• "That's why it's called "The Lizard of Oz"... because it has Dorothy, and the Tin Man, and the Lion..." 

I did...

• Mommy and I went to buy my new car seat today.  I was super excited!  
• All three of us went to lunch and there were about 25 soldiers in the restaurant.  Mommy explained to me who they were, why they were in uniform, and how they keep us safe.  
• Daddy installed my new car seat in the car while I relaxed in the old one on the front porch "reading" the manual.  Then, I got to try out the new seat.  I have much more leg room which gives Mommy more leg room too.  So, everyone is happy.
• I was a big girl and took a nap on my own.  Mommy was very proud of me for being a big girl, unlike yesterday.
• Mommy and I spent an hour touring and visiting every playground at the park.  It was so much fun!  I loved going down the slides, swinging, and climbing.  It was great fun!
• We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and watching "The Lizard of Oz" and playing with the balloons and sorting dice while also playing with Littles.

Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said...

• "I love Gabriel.  He's my friend" (when driving home from the movie).
• "I'm taking pictures of beautiful things" (while snapping pictures with Mommy's phone while she was driving).  I took pictures of cars, and even flowers in front of the house once I got out of the car.
• "Watch out for the leaf snowball" (as I threw a handful of leaves at Mommy).

I did...

• Mommy and I met Gabriel and his family at the Alamo Drafthouse to see The Muppets Most Wanted movie.  It was my very first movie in a theater and I loved it.  I was a big girl and did pretty well about not talking much and staying in or in front of my seat.  The only issue was having to run in and out to go potty, but overall Mommy was proud of me.  I loved eating popcorn and Twizzlers and sharing with Gabriel.
• After we got home, Mommy tried to get me to take a nap and she ended up getting really mad at me because I wasn't listening or doing what she wanted me to do.  Luckily for me (and Mommy), I finally started  listening.  I spent some time running around with just my panties on because I was "hot."  Mommy and Daddy thought I was hilarious.  We spent some time playing a game I call, "Balloon Catch" where I would throw or hit balloons at Mommy or Daddy then they would catch it and hit it back.  Such fun!
• After some time at home to make sure I was ready to listen better, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner... I won another friend from the claw machine and was so excited.  We ate cheesecake bites and I dipped my French fries in the cheesecake "filling" and ate them.
• We did a little shopping.  We looked at possibly getting me a "big girl" seat for the car to give me more leg room.  Hopefully we'll have one before our trip to see Grandma and Grandpa.
• I tucked my baby doll and new bear in on some pillows on the floor and covered them with a blanket for their bedtime and gave them kisses before going to bed myself.

Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said...

• "When something is scary, it's awful!" (I told Mommy after finding her wallet that she had left in the restaurant and she had said it was scary...  I told her my friend Phoenix from school had told me that).
• "I used Daddy's lipstick" (after using his Chap-stick).

I did...

• This morning, I was exhausted.  Thank goodness it is Friday!
• I wore my "robot" shirt and my "running shoes."
• When Daddy picked me up from school, my teacher explained to him that I have not been listening as well the past two days and that I had been in time out for talking during the movie.  Daddy and Mommy seemed a little disappointed by the news and talked to me MANY times during this evening about how to listen better and why I need to listen.
• I was such a big helper assisting Mommy with laundry and even put my clothes away neatly all by myself.  Mommy was proud of me for helping.
• Mommy said I might get to do something super fun tomorrow... I'm looking forward to it, so hopefully I can.
• I sent Grandpa a Happy Birthday message last night so he would hopefully get it sometime today while he and Grandma are on their trip.  I can't wait to see them in a week!

Alyson's Antics for the Day:


I said...

• "HEY! GIRL!" (While looking for the little girl I was playing with in Chick-fil-a. Daddy wasn't happy that I was yelling in the middle of the restaurant.)
• "I have Grandpa's eyes" (in response to Mommy's question of what color eyes I have...when talking to Mommy about my hair color and eye color).

I did...

• After school, daddy and I went to Chick-fil-a to play. I found a little girl to play with. I lost her and went looking around the store for her before finding her again in the play area. Daddy got me ice cream with a cherry on top. I love cherries. I didn't like the ice cream much so I drank all of daddy's milkshake instead.
• At home, I spent the evening resting on the couch and watching Frannie's Feet before daddy turned on Despicable Me 2.
• I was super excited and jumped up and down when Mommy got home from her trip.  Two days is a long time to not see my Mama. 
• At bedtime, I asked Mommy to read my Bible with me.  She taught me something new, that the words typed in red were words that Jesus said.  I wondered who said the purple words (captions to the Precious Moments pictures within The Bible). 
• Mommy tucked me in after a big hug, kiss, and Ugga-mugga.

Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said...

• "But that's a pajama shirt." (When daddy gave me my monkeys playing instruments shirt to wear to school today.)
• "I drew one of those things that kids ride and say 'WEE'" (Showing daddy a chalk drawing of a roller coaster.)

I did...

• A loud truck woke me this morning so I yelled for daddy to come get me. I got to cuddle with him for a few minutes before it was time to get ready for school. I did not want to get up this morning at all. When daddy carried me to the couch to eat breakfast, I just cover up with a blanket and went back to sleep.
• I played on the playground at school today. That's where we were when daddy picked me up. I love playing with Olive and Lucy.
• Daddy set up my bouncy-house when we got home. I loved bouncing in it and climbing over the wall. I also ran around the yard in my socks. Daddy wasn't very happy about that. Then, I drew on the back porch and made a perfect letter "A."

I said...

• "Olive!!!" "Lucy!!!" (When I saw my friends at school this morning)

I did...

• This morning, I wore my new Hello Kitty jacket. It's beautiful.
• After daddy picked me up from school, we went to the park. I did really good at climbing all over the playground. Daddy helped me a little, but I'm fearless.
• Tonight, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to play trivia. I told daddy I had to go potty just as the game was starting. He didn't seem too excited about that. We came in third place. Daddy and I make a great team.
• I could barely keep my eyes open tonight when daddy put me to bed. Running around all day is tiring.

I said...

• "Is it a pirate ship?" (asking about the cruise ship Grandma and Grandpa are on).
• "Daddy has something special.  It's a gaprise!  It's super sweet!"  (referring to the frosty dessert Daddy brought home to share).

I did...

• I missed my friend Olive this morning at school.  It took some convincing to get me to stay without her being there to play with.
• Daddy picked me up and got me dressed for dance.  Luckily Mommy got home in time to fix my hair.  I was so good at dance that I got a sticker that said, "Girl Power!"
• I spent about two hours with Ms. Sierra.  It was super fun!
