Alyson's Antics of the Day:
I said:
- "I know what game we can play after nap. Ron-O Madagascar Love. Kinda like hide and go seek but you count shapes. It's only for two so Daddy can't play."
- "Ugga-mugga Mommy bug."
- "Stronger than one, stronger than ten, stronger than a hundred men." (singing... song from Frozen).
I did:
- Woke up after Daddy this morning. It was so nice to sleep in a little bit.
- After breakfast and play time while Daddy cleaned a little, Mommy finally woke up.
- We went to her school to watch the volleyball games. I had fun, but it was very loud in the gym when everyone cheered, so it bothered me a little.
- I was a super helper and even offered to do some cleaning with a wet paper towel. I also helped put away the scorer table and ran all around the school.
- At home, Mommy and I cuddled and took a nap which was great! We slept quite a while.
- Once Daddy got home, we cleaned a little then went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the first half of the WVU football game. While there I played with the new game machines, played the claw machine, ate my regular meal, and colored my "Buffalo Princess" crown (inside and out). It was very loud there, so Daddy even got me my "microphones" (ear protection) to wear for a while. It was nice visiting with Ms. Jessica who joined us to watch the game.
- We stopped by the theater on the way home to check on the set progress, then drove home.
- At home, we continued watching the game and took medicine then got ready for bed. It was a busy day.

Alyson's Antics of the Day:
I said:
- "I promise to be better tomorrow... I'll go straight to time out when I get home" (after having a frowny face and not very nice note in my book today at school).
- "The God of angel armies is always by my side... the one that reigns forever, He is a friend of mine. The God of angel armies is always by my side." (singing while using the restroom at the Martinsburg football game)
I did:
- As soon as Daddy woke me up and told me it was Friday, I wanted to get donuts, even though I was still nearly asleep.
- He got me dressed and ready real quick, Mommy put my hair in a pony tail and we left for school, stopping at Dunkin Donuts on the way.
- I wasn't as big of a girl today at school which led to some punishment at home. Mommy had even planned to take me to get a celebratory slushie after school since I had been good all week, but after getting in trouble today, I didn't get to get one.
- After my time out at home and having a talk with Mommy and Daddy about my behavior, we got ready and went to the tailgate party for Martinsburg's football game. We ate, played cornhole (I even got to throw some too), and then watched part of the game.
- Mommy and I got tired, so we left before halftime.
- After watching a little bit of a movie and taking my medicine, Mommy and Daddy all of a sudden changed into Cardinal clothes and started getting me ready to leave. I was a little confused. We ended up getting in the car to go to Mommy's school since her football team won their first game against a West Virginia school. We had a welcome home party for the team... everyone honked their horns and turned on their headlights and Daddy even played music. It was so much fun! I even made a new friend who played with me.
- It was an exhausting day and I even fell asleep on the way home.

Thanks to Ginger Wolford for the last three pictures on the blog. I'm very grateful since my phone wasn't able to take any pictures this evening.
Alyson's Antics of the Day:
I said:
- "I want to look at the powerglass again" (after flipping over the glass hourglass at TJMaxx and watching the pink sand fall... it was just like the Wizard of Oz)
- "I'm healthy now so I can eat and drink what I want."
- "Mommy, I have a new song to sing: Peekaboo moon, come out. Peekaboo moon, come out" (singing)
- "My pleasure, mama." (after she washed my new Planes movie water bottle so I could use it to drink water before bedtime)
I did:
- Another early morning. Yuck!
- Daddy dropped me off at school. I didn't need any breathing treatments today at school and only coughed once. Hopefully that means I'm better.
- I had a great note from my teachers in my book, "Excellent Day!"
- Mommy helped me put birthday invitations in my friends' cubbies at school when she picked me up today.
- When we got home, the little girl who visits next door was there. We played together with chalk, I shared my scooter, and we played with our pool noodles. It was so much fun. I was sad for her to leave and wish she was next door all the time. She even called me her "best friend."
- After Mommy got home from her meeting, we went to eat dinner then Daddy had rehearsal, so Mommy and I did a little shopping. I talked her into buying me a few things... Daddy won't be happy. But, oh well... that's what Mommy's do. I also talked her into a mini photo shoot of me in the red circle. I thought it would be a great place for pictures.
- I was a very big girl all day and all week. Mommy and Daddy are super proud of me!

Alyson's Antics of the Day:
I said:
- "I not Alyson. I supposed to be Alyson, but I'm not. I'm carebear!" Mommy told me that Daddy sometimes calls her carebear and that I could be "little carebear. I told her, "I'll be sister bear, okay?"
- "I can say my ABCs really fast.... A, B, C, D, E, F, G, W, X, Y Z, now I know my ABCs, next time won't you sing with me!" (giggling because I intentionally forgot lots of letters and Mommy caught me)
- "Thank you Geoffrey the giraffe!" (hugging the birthday card and coupon I received in the mamil today from Toys R Us)
I did:
- I woke up, ate breakfast, did my breathing treatment, and got ready for school.
- Daddy took me to school again since Mommy had to make a stop on the way to work.
- I had lots of fun and was a very good girl again at school, but coughed quite a bit.
- Daddy picked me up and I really wanted to play even though I had been coughing at school, so he took me to the McDonalds with the play area so I could eat and play. Mommy was working a game, so Daddy and I had a Daddy-daughter date night.
- Daddy dropped me off at Ms. Sierra's house so he could go to his rehearsal.
- We drew with chalk outside. I even wrote my name.
- Mommy picked me up in time to come home, take medicine, and have a snack before bed. I seemed to be feeling much better by bedtime, so Mommy is hoping I'm on the mend.
- It was a busy day... hopefully tomorrow will be a little more relaxing.
Alyson's Antics of the Day:
I said:
- "It's okay Mommy, I have my rain jacket to keep me dry" (when it started pouring down the rain before getting home this afternoon).
I did:
- I woke up and ate waffles for breakfast. Daddy kept rushing me to eat since I had to do more medicine this morning due to my cough.
- I wore my pink monkey shirt to school.
- Today was great seeing my friends and being a good girl all day. The teachers even wrote "Great day!" with a smiley face in my book. Mommy was super proud of me.
- Mommy was tired and not feeling too great, so we spent the evening laying on the couch watching movies. It was nice. We both needed it.
- Daddy did cook us a great meal before going to his rehearsal. I wasn't sure about it since we haven't had it often, but the peppers were yummy.
- Before Daddy came home, Mommy had to get some things out of the car so I stepped on the porch with her. I saw the moon and decided to get my telescope to look at it. Mommy and I took turns trying to see it with my telescope, but it kept playing peekaboo with us, hiding behind the clouds. How silly!
Alyson's Antics of the Day:
I said:
- "Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!" (while dancing in the back seat when we got where she recognized we were back in our town while driving home from Grandma's)
- "I want to watch Engine Turtles." (Ninja Turtles)
I did:
- I woke up and ate breakfast out on the back patio with Daddy... we called it the "kids table."
- I got dressed and helped Daddy pack the suitcases.
- Mommy and Grandma went shopping real quick and came back with some very cute clothes (and shoes) for me. I was super excited about them!
- After saying our goodbyes, we got in the car for the long trip home.
- I took a little nap, played with my new McDonalds toy, and played with the iPad on the way home. It always seems so far away.
- After doing some crafts at home (my idea to use a paper plate, marker, glue, and glitter), I helped Mommy unpack the car then went to get groceries at the store. Picking out the bananas is always my job.
- My snotty nose from the past couple of days is now developing into more a cough. Mommy is hoping that hitting me with my breathing medicine with keep me from having too much trouble.
- After a bath, it was time to unwind and get ready for bed.
- I'm looking forward to being back at school with my friends tomorrow.
