Highlights of the Day:

• Walked in the Martinsburg Easter Parade with Mommy and Daddy and lots of dogs.  It was funny seeing the dogs dressed up for Easter with bunny ears, dresses, and even one in a stroller!  I got my picture taken with the Easter Bunny but was much more excited to see the Chick-fil-A girl cow and get my picture with her. 
• We went to Shepherd to see the Mountaineers play football.  It was odd to see them playing against each other and we didn't know how to cheer when someone did good because that also meant someone didn't do so great.  Gabriel and I mostly played with rocks and climbed around on the bleachers since there really wasn't a real game.
• Mommy and I took a break from watching football to call Grandpa to wish him a happy birthday... I even sang to him. 
• After a little shopping and resting at home, we went to Charles Town to watch the horses race.  It was the first time I've seen them race and it was a lot of fun.  I even picked the horses I liked best, either by the color they were wearing, the way they galloped, or by their cute name. 
• I fell asleep in the car on the way home then  had to do a breathing treatment since I've been coughing, but I fell asleep on the couch during it.
• Today was a day of surprises and Mommy said there may be more surprises this week.  I can't wait.

Highlights of the Day:

• Daddy picked me up during nap today.  I was coughing too much, so the teachers called him to bring my inhaler...  he just decided to take me home.
• I was surprised to find two Easter cards in the mail for me... one from Grandma and Grandpa and the other from Ms. Sierra and her family.  Both cards had money in them!  I was so excited!
• I spent the afternoon with Daddy at the house relaxing and helping with laundry.
• When Mommy got home, we played outside for a few minutes.  I played with the hula hoop and then made a game that I made Mommy play with me where we were "making Hershey kisses" by moving paint bottles, pushing invisible buttons on the hula hoop while making beeping noises then rolling the bottles across the jump rope.  Mommy thought it was a very creative game.
• This evening, all three of us played "Go Fish" with my Frozen cards and then Mommy and I played with my crazy monster bowling set.  We read Wacky Wednesday at bedtime.
• I didn't cough much until I laid down.  Hopefully we get some sleep tonight.

Highlights of the Day:

• I now have two styes on my eye... one on the top and one on the bottom.  Boo!  It is so frustrating!
• We had our Easter party and Easter egg hunt today at school and it was so much fun!  I found lots of eggs and many of them had candy!  YUM!  I couldn't wait to get home and eat the candy.  I had a great day and got a smiley!
• After school, we met Gabriel and his Mommy at Chick-fil-A so we could eat, play, and exchange Easter goodies with each other.  I loved the cute gray bunny basket he got me with Frozen things and a cute pink chick.  It was so fun!  I think he liked my basket for him too.  While playing there, I dropped my toy under the slide where we couldn't reach it... I was so upset and bawling.  Gabriel kept trying to calm me down saying, "Alyson...Alyson... Alyson... it's okay, I can share my toy with you.  It's okay."  Mommy ended up getting Mr. Trevor that was working to come and unlock the area where it had fallen so I could get it.  Problem solved.
• After eating and playing, we went to Sweet Frog to eat dessert and draw on the chalkboard together.  I drew a pink bunny, "Jesus on the cross," and my name.  It was so much fun!  We were being so silly with each other that our Mommys kept reminding us to behave.  While there, I told Mommy, "I only had one whine-down today while we were at Chick-fil-A."  Mommy thinks I combined whining and meltdown into a new term, "whine-down."
• Back at home, while letting the dogs outside, I decided I needed to swing a little bit, thoguh the back yard was a little creepy as it was getting dark.  Mommy finally made me come back inside and we got in our pjs and I watched Big Hero 6 while Mommy did a little work.

Highlights of the Day:

• Woke up this morning whining that my eye was hurting... it was very red under it, so Mommy thought it was my allergies, but when Daddy picked me up from school, my stye was back... ugh!
• I had a great day at school.  We dyed Easter eggs, played outside, and I got a smiley for being great!
• Daddy and I spent the evening together while Mommy worked the games at school.  We ate dinner, played, I helped fold laundry, spelled my name on the refrigerator, and took a bath before bed.  We had fun, but I missed Mommy.
• Tomorrow we get to have our Easter egg hunt and Easter party at school.  I can't wait!
