Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• I slept in until about 8:00 and woke up saying, "Daddy!  Daddy!"
• Daddy and I played a little bit until Grandma and Grandpa woke up.  Mommy slept in a little longer than everyone else, but I guess she deserved a little extra rest.
• I ate one and a half bananas, a cereal bar, egg, and bicuit with strawberry jam for breakfast.... YUM!
• Grandma, Mommy, and I went to lunch a Qdoba where I had a cheese quesadilla and applesauce, then went shopping.
• We went to Faith's 7th birthday party.  It was great to visit with old friends and make new friends, especially Bailey the dog.  He's so much fun to play with.  I loved that I could run in circles in the house (one big loop).  I enjoyed playing with the balloons as well as eating fruit, cucumbers, and cake.  I also found a rocking chair that was my size, so I spent some time sitting in it. 
• The party was so exhausting that I fell asleep on the way back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and then even fell back asleep on Mommy after coming into their house.
• I ate dinner with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy went out to an APO event in Huntington.  I kept asking for more and more mac-n-cheese.  Grandma said I had three helpings of shells and cheese along with my broccoli and chicken.
• I colored in the high chair at two different times today.  I am enjoying it more and more... I even colored the tray of the high chair (the white is too boring!).

• Today we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa and got to listen to Grandpa's band play.  I enjoyed dancing while they played.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• I am 19 months old today! 
• Today I wore a new outfit that had bears on it.  The pants were brown with green and purple flowers and the shirt was lime green with bears.  I looked TOO cute!
• Mommy and I saw two buses when we walked out of the door of the house this morning.  I was so excited.  Then, when Mommy was driving down the road on the way to Ms. Cheri's this morning and I yelled "BUS!" and she said "where?"  I spotted the bus before she did...  I was so proud of myself.
• After we got home, we ate some pizza and breadsticks.  It was the first time I held a full piece of pizza in my hand (normally Mommy or Daddy cut or tear it into pieces for me).  I did a pretty good job at biting it, but still need more practice.  My favorite part was the yummy cinnamon breadsticks we had for dessert.  I ate an entire one all by myself... YUM!
• After dinner, Mommy had her laptop on the couch beside her so I climbed up in her lap, pointed at the laptop and said, "TV...  meow meow" and Mommy knew exactly what I wanted.  A few days ago I was cranky, so Mommy showed me some Youtube videos of funny cats.  Mommy knew that I wanted to see more funny cat videos, so we sat on the couch for a few minutes watching funny cat videos and laughing at them.  I like pointing at my favorites, saying "meow, meow" to some of them, and laughing at the really funny ones!
• I found new uses for the small buckets that are used to store some of my little toys...  They make great hats and even better drums when you turn them over and either hit them with your hands or with your drum sticks. 
• We had fun at War Memorial Park.  Mommy showed me how to blow dandelions, but I just wanted to pick them (ALL of them) and carry them around and let the wind and contact damage them.  Today was the first time I ever showed fear on the slides and Mommy and Daddy aren't sure why.  I've never been afraid before and loved the slides and would go down them over and over again, but today I only went down two slides, one time each...  Mommy had to go down with me for one, and I stopped myself at the top of the second one and Mommy had to hold my hands from the side and help me down.  Daddy wants to know what happened to his "fearless girl."

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• I wore my cute butterfly shirt today... it is brown with one pink butterfly.  I love it and Mommy and Daddy said I look super cute in it.
• I also wore my new pink sparkly flats... they have sequins, a pink bow and a pink elastic strap.  They are super cute, but I love to take them off and they come off very easily which Mommy says is not a good combination.
• Ms. Cheri said that I was talking a lot today, even combining words.  She told Mommy that I said "sit down" before sitting on the step and "over there."  Mommy and Daddy have been noticing that more too. 
• I came home and shared a snack with Mommy then enjoyed fettuccine alfredo with broccoli for dinner.  I loved the bread and couldn't get enough... I even stole more off of the table later during the evening (Daddy took a picture of me doing it). 
• I colored with Daddy in one of my coloring books.  He called me "Lefty" but honestly I like to switch back and forth between my left and right hands when coloring.
• Mommy caught me climbing onto my Elmo airplane with a book in one hand and a piece of partially eaten bread in the other...  I've always heard that you are supposed to have something to do and a snack for your flight, so I was prepared!

"Cheese!"- No seriously, It's cheese!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• I'm starting to get back in the routine of waking up early again. 
• I wore my cute purple shirt with silver polka dots and a big silver heart on it.  I also got to wear my new colorful, sparkly sketchers with flashing lights (thanks Carol!) for the first time (I've had them for a few minutes but now my feet are finally big enough to wear them.  It was the first time I've worn shoes with laces so they were especially fun, with the lights and laces.  I untied them a few times on purpose and I jumped a little more than normal this morning just to see the lights flash.
• I was super excited to see the cows across the street from Ms. Cheri's house.  It was the first time this spring they have been back in that field.  They are much easier to see when they are there so I was happy and I "Moo"ed at them.
• Ms. Cheri said that I've been teaching Baby Peyton new things during the day.  We've been blowing our lips making noises back and forth at each other as if we are talking in our own secret language.  Ms. Cheri said Peyton's mommy thinks we are hilarious!
• After Mommy picked me up from Ms. Cheri's we got a quick bite of dinner and then went to a different pet store than normal....  it has SO MANY animals!  I loved looking at all of them!
• I got to spend the evening with Ms. Sierra while Mommy and Daddy went to the YoungLife banquet.  We had fun and danced.  She did a great job of wearing me out... I went to sleep very quick after coming home.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• First day back from Spring Break.... BOO!  I did not want to wake up at all, but Daddy made me!
• I wore my cute WVU t-shirt and khakis and my new yellow sparkly shoes.  I was adorable!  Of course, I spilled juice all over my pants and by the time I got to Ms. Cheri's my pants were soaked!  I had to wear the ugly brown pants that were in the diaper bag the rest of the day... no fair!  They are not nearly as cute! 
• I enjoyed playing with my friends at Ms. Cheri's.  I missed them so much last week!
• I enjoyed waving at the cars while sitting on Ms. Cheri's porch waiting for Mommy.  I was even blowing kisses, especially when the baby left. 
• Ms. Cheri said that I talked much more than normal today and I think she was impressed and how much I've practiced my manners while I've been away.  I said "Please!" and "Thank you" a lot today. 
• After I got home I was so happy to see Daddy.  
• Daddy was busy fixing dinner when we got home.  It was so yummy!  He even got us chocolate pie for dessert... YUM!
• While Mommy and Daddy were fixing our plates for dinner I was carrying around a can of Mommy's Pepsi and I dropped it and it busted.  It scared me so much since it sprayed me in the face... and I made quite a mess!  
• Mommy forgot to take my picture and felt so bad about it that she snuck in my room and took a quick picture after I was sound asleep.  (You can't see my Dolly, but she's in there with me... so is Bear and blankie)

Silly Girl!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• Had my first shower this morning... with Daddy out of town, I was hanging out in the bathroom with Mommy while she was showering and I was interested in the water so she decided to let me try showering instead of taking a bath.  Other than the water hitting my face, I thought it was fun!
• Mommy decided to take me to get donuts this morning on the way to church.  Blueberry cake donuts are her favorite and now I know why.... DELICIOUS!  I kept taking bites and saying "Nom!  Nom!" like Cookie Monster.
• I had a great time at church....  I enjoyed playing with Miss Sierra during Sunday School, then had time to play with Miss Amber, Miss Sarah, and Miss Rebekah too.  So much fun!
• After church Mommy took me to Panera and we shared some mac-n-cheese... YUM!  I couldn't get enough!
• After doing some grocery shopping this afternoon, I helped Mommy unload each bag in the kitchen like I usually do.  I was being very helpful until I found the bananas in the last bag.  I snatched one of the bananas and ran into the living room out of Mommy's sight.  By the time she found me I had crunched down on the banana (peel and all) and had bits of the peel in my mouth.  After she took a picture of the peel, she helped me get to the part of the banana that I was supposed to eat, then finished unpacking the final bag of groceries.
• I missed Daddy so much that I found one of his shirts and put it over my head... it reminded me of him (and it was fun to hide under too!).
• As soon as Daddy got home we went to Mr. Kevin and Ms. Chrissy's house for the Young Life leadership meeting.  I had fun playing with all of my friends there.  I made a big mess of all the toys but was a big girl and helped clean them all up before we left.
