Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- I woke up on my own at about 6:00 this morning, then rested with Mommy and Daddy until nearly 7:30. Mommy and I got up at 7:30 and she fixed me cinnamon toast, fruit, and milk for breakfast... YUM!
- We watched an episode of Curious George and relaxed until Daddy got up and it was time to get ready for church.
- While walking to church, I decided to run a little, at least until a loud truck drove by and I said "Hold you please" to Daddy so he would pick me up. I was extra whiny at church this morning but did have fun playing in the nursery. I thought about taking a nap since I was tired, but I was afraid I would miss something.
- After church, we walked home and then Daddy drove us to Five Guys to eat lunch. He thought I was going to fall asleep in the car, so he had Mommy bring the food out to us instead of eating in the restaurant. So, we ended up having a picnic in the car.
- On the way home from Charles Town, I too a siesta... it was rainy and dreary, so it was the perfect time for a nap. I napped for nearly an hour in the car, so Mommy did the grocery shopping while Daddy stayed in the car with me.
- I helped unload the groceries after we got home and even cheered for myself when the last bag was empty. I'm such a good helper!
- I decided to try on Daddy's socks. I put on his brown socks, then his white socks over top of them (on both feet).
- I did Wii Fit with Daddy... I stood on my balance board (digital scale) while Daddy stood on the Wii Fit balance board and I mimicked his moves. It was fun!
- We had a Young Life leadership meeting tonight, so I was a big hit! I was the youngest there and had the attention of about 20 people, mostly high school and college students... They loved me! I loved playing with a cute little kitten, chasing it even under the couch and throwing a ball that it would chase. I also played with magnetic letters, a toy snake, and a ball, but my favorite was moving the little kid's chairs around. I also got to eat pizza, chips, and a cookie, so it was super fun!
- After we returned home, I got to talk to Grandma and Grandpa on the phone and watched Curious George while getting ready for bed.
- It was a busy Sunday, but fun. I can't wait to go to Ms. Cheri's tomorrow!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- I woke up on my own at about 6:15 this morning... so much for sleeping in. I did hang out in bed with Mommy and Daddy and rest until about 7:00 when I got up with Daddy.
- We ate breakfast and took the recycling before Mommy woke up.
- We ate lunch and I even got to play in the indoor playground, but the kids in there were too loud!
- After my nap, I played with my toys, bowled on the Wii with Mommy and Daddy, played outside and found the only mud puddle in the yard with my foot, played in my tunnel inside and even took everything into it. Mommy and Daddy both got in the tunnel too, so I climbed on Mommy's back and we all three were inside the tunnel at the same time (if only someone would have had a camera!). I also helped Mommy wash the dishes (after trying to help Daddy this morning).
- After a dinner of yummy lasagna, I took a shower (it was "raining!") to clean all of the sauce off of me.
- Mommy and I watched a video of the zoo animals, Mommy told me to look at the "pretty kitty," so I jumped down and started crawling on the floor and meowing like a cat.
- I surprised Mommy and Daddy when I showed up in the living room without pants or a diaper on. I had taken them off in the bathroom and even put my potty seat on the big toilet. I told them "pee," but I had already gone in my diaper, not the potty. I'm getting closer to figuring it out.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- My 6:00am wake-up call made me whiny this morning. I was so tired and didn't want to get up. Daddy told me it was Friday and that I'd be able to sleep in tomorrow.
- I ate waffles and dip for breakfast while watching George.
- Mommy decided that we deserved a Friday treat, so she stopped at Dunkin Donuts on the way to Ms. Cheri's this morning. We both had a blueberry cake donut... YUM!
- I remembered to take back the borrowed blue rock to Ms. Cheri's this morning. I placed it right on top of a mosaic tile that she has on her front stoop. I had to move one of the smaller rocks that I had placed on top of it yesterday in order to match the blue rock I was laying down to a blue rock on the mosaic.
- I had a great day with Ms. Cheri, Payton, and Keegan. I even gave Keegan's mom a huge hug when she dropped him off this morning. It made her day, I think. Mommy had a hard time convincing me to get in the car this afternoon to go home. Luckily, she had her whistle to distract me while she buckled me in.
- I had a couple of hours of quality time with Daddy, so I played the piano, watched George, ate dinner, and tried to potty (without success, but we are getting closer).
- When Mommy got back home, all of us walked to the Martinsburg football game. It was so much fun yelling, clapping, and cheering. I especially loved seeing the boys run the flag around the field when they scored. Mommy made me stay until the band had performed at half time, then we walked back home while Daddy stayed a little longer.
- When we got home, I cuddled up with Mommy to watch an episode of Curious George and after my medicine, we went up to bed. Other than a brief meltdown due to being so tired, I fell right asleep. It was a long day!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- Daddy won't stop waking me up at 6:00am. I'm so tired in the mornings. Daddy fixed me chocolate chip muffin tops and part of a banana to eat while watching Curious George. Then, all of us got ready and Mommy took me to Ms. Cheri's house.
- On the way to Ms. Cheri's, I impressed Mommy by counting "6, 7, 8, 9, 10." I'm getting my numbers down.
- Mommy let me take a blue rock from Ms. Cheri's when we left this afternoon. I like collecting rocks. Mommy and I went home for a few minutes and picked up daddy. Daddy and I went shopping. I got to ride in one of the car-shaped carts at the grocery store, but mainly I just played games on my iPod.
- When Daddy and I got home we played outside. I sat in my swing and went down my slide. I also tried to throw a frisbee but I wasn't too good at it.
- I watched a little more Curious George and played with my blocks before bedtime.
Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- Once again I had to get up at 6:00 this morning. I wish Daddy would just let me sleep!
- Breakfast and George have become the normal routine.
- When riding with Mommy to Ms. Cheri's, I pointed out the sun and said "sun down." Mommy told me that the sun was actually coming up and that it is called a sunrise. When the sun shined in my face, I told Mommy that I needed my "glasses" so she gave me the ones out of my diaper bag (her old sunglasses). I started singing "The Wheels on the Bus" as soon as I saw a school bus this morning (just like yesterday)... My favorite part this morning was "Open and shut" and "wipers go swish, swish, swish."
- When we pulled into Ms. Cheri's driveway, I screamed "YEAH! YEAH!"
- I had fun at Ms. Cheri's and didn't want to leave when Mommy got there. I was enjoying playing with the rocks too much. Yesterday we played with a grasshopper that was hanging out on the rocks and we watched it jump and tried to catch it, so today, I tried to get another bug, but Mommy told me not to. Mommy said not all bugs are nice. Since I was not wanting to leave, Mommy finally asked Ms. Cheri if we could borrow a rock until tomorrow so I would have one to hold while she put me in the car.
- Once home, we ate dinner and played. I even helped a little with the laundry... such a good helper.
- Mommy and I ran a few errands while Daddy was at the church, then we headed home.
- After we got home, I asked for a "mana" (banana), so Mommy got me one. I ate a few bites, then offered a bite or two to the picture of mountaineer football players on Mommy's computer screen. Mommy wasn't too happy that I got banana gunk all over her screen. I also got a big piece of banana smeared on the couch. What a mess!
- After medicine and another episode of Curious George, I was ready for bed.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- Daddy woke me up again this morning at 6:00. For breakfast, I had mini waffles and "dip." YUM! Mommy said I smelled like maple syrup.
- I was so excited to go to Ms. Cheri's house. On the way there, I said it was dark. Mommy told me it was something called "fog." She has told me about this before, but I had forgotten, so she explained to me once again that fog is a cloud that is on the ground and that it blocks out a lot of the sunlight causing it to be darker than normal. I yelled "SCHOOL BUS!" again when I saw one and also yelled "MOO!" at the cows we passed.
- I had fun with Payton and Keegan today. I didn't want to leave and wanted to play with the rocks instead of getting in the car, but Mommy finally convinced me/tricked me to get in the car without a fight.
- I've started saying "Yep!" and "Nope" which Mommy thinks is cute, but she is not too happy with. She much prefers me to say "Yes, Ma'am" and "No, Ma'am" which I say most of the time.
- On the way home, I pointed out "motorcycles," "apple" (sign that we pass everyday that is shaped like an apple), "cars," "red light-stop," "green light- GO!" and I even told Mommy "turn this way" and pointed the direction we needed to turn when we got close to the house. Mommy was shocked that I pointed in the right direction.
- Once at home, I visited with Gemma and Daddy (Cameron was hiding) then I helped cook dinner. It was delicious and once again I got pudding for dessert... YUM!
- After dinner, Mommy and I went for a walk with Carol. I spent the first part of the walk in the stroller, then I got to walk (and run) like a big girl the last couple of blocks. I loved seeing and saying hi to the other people and the dogs.
- When we got back home, I did my breathing treatment while watching Curious George then headed to bed.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day
- Daddy woke me up at 6:00 this morning. I so wanted to sleep in, but he wouldn't let me.
- I ate chocolate chip muffins for breakfast, then got dressed and ready to go to Ms. Cheri's house.
- I was super excited to see school buses on the way to Ms. Cheri's. I yelled "SCHOOL BUS!" when I saw the first one, then immediately began singing "The Wheels on the Bus." Mommy thought I was too cute. Then I saw cows and kept saying "Moo! Moo! Moo!"
- Keegan and Peyton both were at Ms. Cheri's today. Keegan and I caught up, talked and played all day, except for the two hour nap we took in the middle of the day.
- I wanted to go outside while waiting for Mommy, but it started storming and the rain was pouring, so I couldn't wait outside.
- After we got home, we had spaghetti and bread for dinner. YUM! Then, Daddy gave me some chocolate pudding. I made such a mess of myself that Daddy had to give me a quick shower to wash me off. (Luckily, Mommy and Daddy knew I would be somewhat messy, so they took my white shirt off before I started to eat).
- Once in my pjs, Daddy tried to take quick nap in the floor, but I kept him awake by using him as a jungle gym. I kept tickling Mommy's feet, then tickled Daddy's feet, and even tried to tickle Gemma's feet too (she wasn't a fan!). I also found an empty envelope and decided to make myself a hat by stretching the open part of the envelope over my head. Mommy and Daddy thought I was very creative!
- When it came time for bed, I was in the middle of watching George, so I carried Mommy's ipad upstairs so I could keep watching. I had a meltdown when Mommy and Daddy turned it off. I wasn't finished watching. Daddy says I'm an addict, whatever that means!
