Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• Something woke me up in the middle of the night and I yelled for Mommy until she came to get me.  I later told her it was one of the cats, Cameron specifically, who woke me because he was meowing.  I spent the rest of the night cuddled with Mommy in bed, nearly pushing her off the edge of the bed, but at least I was comfortable.  
• I was a little more awake this morning than usual and was excited to leave the house since it was Donut Friday.  I decided that I wanted to get my old favorite donut, the blueberry cake one, this morning instead of my recent favorite which is chocolate iced with sprinkles.  
• Payton and I played at Ms. Cheri's and my favorite thing we did was play "race."  I told Mommy about it and she asked if we were running.  I said, "No Mommy, we were NOT running."  I had to explain to her what race was, but I'm still not sure she understood more than it was with trucks.
• When Mommy picked me up, I needed help carrying my things to the car and was ready to go.
• On the way home, I talked Mommy into going "the other way past the ice cream shop and motorcycles instead of the new road."  While driving downtown, I noticed the tires sounded different on the road, so I asked Mommy what that sound was.  She said it was the brick road.  I told her, "I have a brick road too."   Then we started talking about my McDonald's Wizard of Oz toys and Mommy started telling me about the movie.  As soon as we got home, I wanted to watch the movie.  Since we only have it on VHS, we had to watch it upstairs so we waiting until after dinner.
• Daddy and Mommy cooked noodles and grilled cheese for dinner and it was yummy!  I ended up trading Daddy sandwiches since I wanted the "whole sandwich" instead of the pieces that I had on my plate.  
• After dinner, Mommy and I went upstairs and watched The Wizard of Oz in bed.  It was such a great movie.  I kept asking Mommy when the Lion would be on the movie.  I told Mommy that my favorite people were the Tin Man and the Lion.  Mommy told me if I showed her that I was a big girl and could sit still through a movie that she might take me to a place called a movie theater that shows movies on a big screen with comfy seats.  As soon as The Wizard of Oz was over, I asked Mommy to take me to the movie theater.  I thought we were going tonight.  
• I talked to Grandma and Grandpa on the phone and told them all about the movie and my favorite parts.  I even quoted the Wicked Witch and said, "I'll get you my pretty and your little dog too!"  Grandma and I also practiced our witch laughs.  I think it was good for all of us to laugh and be a little silly on the phone tonight.  
• Daddy watched an episode of Strawberry Shortcake with me before bed.  While watching, I ate a small bowl of Rice Krispies cereal then even ate a few bites of Mommy's Lucky Charms cereal.  I'm such a bum!
• Mommy reminded me when I went to bed that could sleep in tomorrow.  Hopefully I'm not wide awake at 7:00 in the morning.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• Another tired morning, however, I was a little more willing to get up and get ready to go out the door this morning.
• Once we got to Ms. Cheri's, I couldn't wait to show her my Dora shirt and then I had to sit and rest since I was tired.  Ms. Cheri said we could all take naps early if we needed to, but I got a second wind once Payton got there.
• I had fun playing with Payton during the day and tried going potty again, but wasn't as successful as yesterday.  Ms. Cheri and Mommy are still very proud of me for trying.
• When Mommy picked me up, I couldn't wait to get to Ms. Sierra's house.  Mommy and Daddy had a meeting to go to, so I spent the evening playing with Emily and Sierra and even Mr. Calvin.  I think Mr. Calvin is silly and I have fun playing with him.  
• I jumped up and down and clapped when Mommy and Daddy showed up to pick me up from Ms. Sierra's house.  The moon was playing peek-a-boo behind the clouds when we left there and when we got home.  I thought the moon was being silly.
• I reminded Daddy of my the steps to my bedtime routine ("vitamin- check, milk- check, diaper and pajamas- check, book- check, bed- check, then under the covers.")  
• Mommy and Daddy reminded me that tomorrow is Donut Friday.  I love Donut Friday!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• Due to getting in bed late last night since I had to stay up and visit with Mr. Dave and getting up earlier than usual due to Mommy's early meeting at work, I was super exhausted this morning.  I was extra whiny and I did not want to get out of bed, then off the couch to leave.
• Daddy dressed me in a cute jean jumper dress with tights.  I looked super cute, but this may be the last wear for that dress since it's getting a little short (Mommy says it would never pass dress code at the big kid's school).  
• At Ms. Cheri's I told her I was tired and was already sitting on the pillows before Mommy left for her meeting.
• When Mommy picked me up, I was so excited to tell her that I had pooped in the big girl potty.  Ms. Cheri and Payton were excited too!  Mommy was thrilled!  Ms. Cheri told Mommy she thought I was shocked when it happened.  Daddy was very excited when I got home and told him too.  Mommy gave me a treat and told me I need to keep it up.
• After Mommy changed clothes, we went to Chick-fil-A and I was shocked at how many people I knew that were there...  my buddy Carol, Rachel, Brittny, and so many of the teachers at Mommy's school and even some of their kids and Mommy's students too.  Mommy called it a Spirit Night and lots of the people there were wearing Wounded Warrior t-shirts.  Mommy said that is the school's service outreach and this was a fundraiser for it, whatever that means.  I had fun talking and playing and eating.  I was even a bum, asking Carol for a bite of her sandwich and another male teacher that I didn't know for a bite of his salad, this of course was after I had eaten my dinner.  
• Daddy and I went to church while Mommy went out for a bit with her friends.  I played with Rebekah while Daddy and Major worked at the church.  
• When I got home, I ate cereal and gummy fruit before bed.  
• While Mommy was getting ready to tuck me in after reading our book, I was being a little awnry, but then looked at Mommy and gave her an Eskimo kiss and said "Ugga Mugga" which is something that Daniel Tiger's parents say to him on the show.  Mommy immediately forgot about how silly I was being and got a big grin on her face.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• Like I'm not tired enough in the mornings, Daddy woke me up a few minutes earlier than normal.
• I took my breakfast in my bag so I could eat it at Ms. Cheri's house.
• Mommy drove to her school and I even got to go inside for a few minutes.  Mommy had a meeting, so Carol let me play with her then she took me to Ms. Cheri's while Mommy was in her meeting.  Carol even gave me a balloon.  We actually had one for me and one for Payton, but the blue balloon escaped from the car when she was strapping me into my seat.
• Ms. Cheri was very surprised to see Carol dropping me off.
• When Mommy picked me up, we went to meet Daddy at Pizza Montese for a quick dinner before heading home.  I love eating their pasta and pizza and desserts.
• Once at home, I played for about an hour before we went to trivia at Buffalo Wild Wings.  We had several friends there and I had a great time.
• During trivia, Mommy had me put my coat on and we walked out to the far side of the parking lot and looked at her phone.  She showed me a video of a rocket sitting on a launch pad.  We counted down and there was a big ball of fire on her phone then she pointed to the sky.  We looked between the trees and saw it light up and streak across the sky.  Mommy explained that it was a rocket and that it was on its way to space.  I told Mommy that I wanted to ride on a rocket to space.  She told me that when I was old enough I could do anything I wanted to do. 
• Once back inside b-dubs, my buddy Andre brought me a bowl of oranges again.  This is three weeks in a row he had taken care of me.  I sucked on a few pieces and drank the juice, then decided to just squeeze them into Mommy's water to make my own juice.  It was delicious!  After finishing trivia, we headed home and had company, Mr. Dave stopped by.  
• It was a late night to bed and we will have an early morning again due to Mommy's meeting.  Hopefully I have a restful night!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• Yet another cranky Monday morning where I would much rather have stayed in bed...  Grrr!
• Daddy let me wear my hogs and kisses shirt even though it was a pajama t-shirt.  I love it!  
• I was so comfy under the covers on the couch that Mommy had a very challenging time motivating me to get my jacket on and get in the car.  After a brief disagreement about where I was going to eat my breakfast (Mommy won- I ate it in the car), I put my jacket on and went to the car.  
• I was excited that it was Monday and I would see Keegan at Ms. Cheri's house as well as Payton.
• When Mommy picked me up at the end of the day, I had my neon sunglasses on, upside down of course.  She thought I was super cute.
• I couldn't wait to get home and change my clothes for dance class.  We hurried and changed clothes and I was a super big girl letting Mommy put my hair in a bun.  I learned quickly the first week of class that if I stand really still while Mommy fixes it, she won't have to use bobby pins which sometimes hurt my head.
• There were a couple of new girls at dance class today and I am having so much fun playing and dancing with them.  Mommy even got a note that in a few weeks she and Daddy can come to class and watch us and eat a little snack with us.  She can't wait!
• I got a blue lollipop and sticker for being such a good girl in class.  I ate it on the way home and then Mommy let me see how silly my tongue looked from eating it.  I couldn't believe it!
• After dinner, we relaxed.  I watched my favorite mini-episodes of Simon's Cat on Mommy's computer and a little Bubble Guppies, then played with balloons, the dogs, my crocodile dentist, and Ernie toys.  I also decided to decorate Mommy's toes with crayons even though it tickled just a bit. 
• Mommy put me to bed after reading a couple of books and cuddling with me for a few minutes in the rocking chair.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• I woke up at about 3:00.  I'm not sure what woke me, but Daddy came to get me after he and Mommy heard me whining.  They let me cuddle in bed with them the rest of the night.  
• I slept until about 8:00 then played with Mommy's iPad for a few minutes until bath time.  
• I had a nice bath then Daddy dressed me in a cute white button-up shirt and jeans.  
• Daddy surprised Mommy by wearing the same clothes (white button-up shirt and jeans) as me. 
• After Mommy's shower, she decided to dress the same so she didn't feel left out.  Everyone at church thought we were going for pictures after church since we were dressed alike, but we were just being silly.  After the service was over, I sang one of my favorite songs, MacDaddy by tobyMac on the microphone.  I was much more quiet than usual so Mommy seemed a little disappointed, but still thought I was super cute. 
• Daddy took Mommy and I to eat a yummy lunch after church then we came home and took a nap.  I was exhausted!
• After nap, I woke up ready to go to the library.  We took back my four library books and I picked out four new ones to bring home.  It's always such a hard choice choosing only four, but Mommy and Daddy helped me narrow down my choices.  I was super excited to find another Lady Bug Girl book and a book about the moon.  I played with the puppets and Daddy gave me a lesson about hiding behind the curtain so people only see the puppet.  I also played with the wooden puzzles, looked at the fish, and read a book on the computer (with Daddy's help).  It was fun!  I love the library!
• After a couple of stops on the way home, we went home and Mommy fixed dinner.  It was delicious!
• Mommy had me color a few different things on paper this evening.  She drew a Christmas tree and snowman and hoped I would draw something like hers, but I kinda went in my own creative direction with my artwork.  She said something about there being a contest for Grandma's work and that she would have to send one of my drawings.  I hope one is nice enough to send.  Mommy's favorite was the one I drew while looking at her Christmas tree. 
• I've tried going potty a few different times today and even got treats for trying.  Hopefully I'll get this potty thing figured out soon.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

• When I woke up, I came downstairs and Daddy and I ate breakfast and played doctor with my medical kit.  
• When Daddy left to go "dig a hole," I came upstairs and played with the iPad and visited with Mommy a few minutes.  I also played with and petted Cameron.  After I got Cameron to quit holding Mommy down, we came downstairs to play.   Mommy and I played with my medical kit too, then I played with my balloon and the dogs.  
• After playing, Mommy and I reorganized the living room.  I was such a super helper by putting my toys away, taking things to other rooms to put them away, and even bringing Mommy the broom when she needed it.  The only problem Mommy had is when I caught her throwing away some of my cards and my puzzle pieces.  I grabbed them and sadly said, "You were going to throw them away, were you?"
• After organizing and cleaning, Mommy took me to lunch.  I first wanted to go to Chick-fil-A, that is until Mommy told me it was warm enough for us to play at the park so we wouldn't have to play inside.  I then decided to go to McDonalds for lunch.  I got a "Build-a-Bear" snowflake bear and even got a bonus nugget (5 instead of the 4 I was supposed to get).  
• After lunch, Mommy took me to "my playground" to play.  She drove to Ambrose Park which I used to refer to as "my playground," but I said, "not here, the other park."  After a few questions, she realized that I wanted to go where my party was this past September, War Memorial Park.  Mommy had to make a few turns to get going the right way.  I told her "that's odd" and she seemed surprised that I knew that word.  Once we got to the park, I had so much fun running, swinging, going down the slides, playing on the merry-go-round, petting puppy dogs, and even playing in the leaves.  
• Mommy and I went grocery shopping after playing, then headed home for a nap.
• Daddy and Mommy cooked dinner after nap and after eating, I played with my Legos, played with my balloon and Mommy's iPad, then relaxed on the couch with Mommy.  I told Mommy that she was "my best friend in the whole world" and she gave me a big hug.
