Alyson's Antics of the Day:

I said:
  • "I want to have some fun!  I want to have some fun!  Is it time to have fun yet?"
  • "This is my favorite restaurant in the world!" (ihop)
  • "Giddy-up!"  (while riding the horse swing at the playground pretending to be using a lasso)

I did:

  • Mommy woke me up early and I was so tired.  I ate my muffins while I was still half asleep and Mommy got me dressed and ready to go to Ms. Sierra's.
  • I spent the day with Ms. Sierra while Mommy went to work and Daddy was in Pittsburgh for more filming.  We played a little outside and I took a long nap.
  • Daddy surprised me by picking me up... he wasn't supposed to be back until Saturday.  I was very happy to see him.
  • We went to ihop and had breakfast for dinner.  I had a yummy face pancake and chocolate milk.
  • We went to a new place where they had a big, very busy playground where I enjoyed the slides, swings, played frisbee with the boys, bubbles with the girls, and learned a new ring toss game.  I was good at taking turns and others were very good at sharing with me.  While riding the horse swing, I pretended I was using a lasso.  There also was a tall white thing that kind looked like a building.  Mommy and Daddy had to explain that we were at a drive in theater and that they were going to show a movie on the big white thing.  We saw the movie Planes:  Fire & Rescue  and it was great!  We sat on the camp chairs behind the car cuddled under a blanket and watched the movie while eating popcorn and Twizzlers.  I think Mommy and I spent just as much time looking up at the beautiful stars in the sky as we did the movie.  It was such a beautiful night!
  • I passed out in the car on the way home and went straight to bed, but not before reminding Daddy that I needed my medicine and vitamin.  I have to keep Mommy and Daddy in line.

Alyson's Antics of the Day:

I said:
  • "I smell lightning bugs" (while playing at the playground)
  • "Roundabout" (what I called the merry-go-round)
  • "Knock knock, who's there?  A tree... with syrup on its lips" (after telling Mommy that some trees have syrup in them)

I did:

  • Daddy woke me up and got me ready pretty quickly this morning... I was still tired.
  • Mommy had already gone to work and Daddy had plans for the day, so he took me to spend the day with Ms. Sierra.  We played, ate, I took a nap, and she even fixed my hair into a pony tail.  We had fun!
  • When Mommy picked me up, she took me to the Be-Hive to learn physics.  I'm not sure what physics really is, but I made a catapult to launch "Angry Birds."  It was very fun and we learned the words trajectory and force.  Mommy seemed more excited about it than me, probably since she used to teach science.  I did have a great time and was really starting to figure out the catapult when it was time to leave.
  • After dinner, we met Carol and went for a walk through the park.  There was even a band playing from the US Navy.  We listened for a little while and I ate a grape popsicle.  They even sang "Somewhere over the Rainbow."  I was excited!  We played at a few areas of the park then walked a little more before heading back to Carol's.  We saw (and investigated) a large beetle, stopped to check out some cool flowers, and caught lightning bugs too.
  • At home, we watched a little of the Curious George movie before bed.

Alyson's Antics of the Day

I said:

  • "I have to watch out for bears!" (when talking to Daddy about caving)
  • "When I get bigger, I want someone to draw me upside down with antlers...  I just saw a boy do that on television and I want to do that!" (after Mommy and I watched the acrobats on Americas Got Talent).
I did:

  • Daddy took me to Ms. Sierra's house for a while so he could go caving with Tommy and Faith.  He says I need to get a little older before I can go caving with him.
  • I had a nap and then Ms. Sierra fixed my hair.  She put it in pigtails and no one bothered to take my picture until it had already started falling down.  I was super cute too... Bummer!
  • After Daddy picked me up, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for a late lunch with Tommy and Faith.  It was fun!
  • Faith came back to our house and she and I played in my room for a long time.  We only came downstairs when the thunder got too loud and I needed my ear protection and so I could ask if we needed to go to the "attic" (basement) because of the storm.
  • I got very upset when Faith left, even though I will see her again in a few days at camp.
  • Mommy left to go shopping real quick and I was upset she wouldn't take me with her since I was whiney...  that made me whine even more.
  • When she got home, I was happy to see her.
  • I practice writing a few letters on my board and created a fun "ride" from a pile of pillows and blankets in the living room.
  • Mommy and I tossed a ball back and forth while watching Americas Got Talent.  Mommy acts like she knows one of the people and was a little disappointed at the end of the show.
  • Tomorrow should be a fun day!

Mommy did the first "A" and I did the second.
