Alyson's Antics of the Day:
I said:
- "Because I'm happy..." (singing when Mommy put me to bed)
- "I'm going to stay awake until I fall asleep" (as Mommy walked out of the room after putting me to bed).
I did:
- Woke up and got ready for church. I started to wear a beautiful red dress with a black bow, but got upset when Daddy told me that the bow went in the back and not the front as I had put it on. I decided I didn't want to wear that dress and instead changed to a floral dress that I had worn for Easter.
- I put four pennies in the offering plate at church while they sang Happy Birthday to me.
- I had fun playing with Tori and other friends during church.
- We ate leftovers after church then I took a quick nap before going to Ms. Sierra's house while everyone else went to the theater to see Daddy.
- I had fun riding my bike and going to the playground. I even got to eat a Dilly Bar from DQ.
- After eating chips, cheese, and a quesadilla at Las Trancas, it was time to go home and get a bath and get ready for bed.
- I was tired and more whiny than normal, but it was such a busy weekend.
- Tomorrow I go to see my doctor. I'm hoping I feel extra brave for my shots tomorrow.
Alyson's Antics of the Day:
I said:
- "Everyone! Look! Here comes Princess Elsa!" (as I walked toward the area of my party wearing my beautiful princess dress and waving my wand).
- "I wanna open presents now... this is my favorite part, hold on!" (running to watch the "Let it Go" part of Frozen in turn delaying the opening of my presents).
I did:
I woke up and went straight to Mommy and Daddy's bed to cuddle. After hanging out a bit, Daddy and I got up and went downstairs to eat a quick breakfast.
After everyone else got up, Mommy, Grandma, and I went to Martins to get a few last minute things for my party, including my Frozen balloons. I was so excited about them.
After a quick nap at home, I started getting ready for my party. Grandma and Mommy left to go start decorating. I got to arrive fashionably late.
I was so happy to see my friends when I got there.
I skated a little first, then ate pizza and a cupcake then got to wear my beautiful Elsa dress to open my presents before skating again and playing with my piñata... I loved all of the candy that was inside!
It was such a great party and I loved every minute! It's also nice that so many of my friends brought donations for the humane society that we can take next week. That was such a great idea and it gives me an excuse to go see the furry friends that are there!
We spent the evening cheering on the Mountaineers at home. Grandma even taught me a few cheers to help them play harder. She thinks that screaming at the television really helps them, so I did my best to help too. During commercial breaks, I entertained with my Frozen singing with my microphone.

I said:
- "Thank you all for my birthday!" (in the car on the way home from Chuck-E-Cheese).
I did:
- Mommy and Daddy woke me up this morning singing "Happy Birthday" and holding a Frozen balloon. I was so tired that I could barely talk but was excited to be turning four today.
- Daddy took me to get Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast since it was a birthday Friday and I picked the prettiest donut, one with pink icing and colorful sprinkles. It was delicious!
- At school, my teachers had made a birthday crown for me to wear and my friends wished me a Happy Birthday.
- After waking up from my nap, I was surprised to see Mommy and Grandma at school. They brought yellow ducky cupcakes for me to share with my friends in my class. After cupcakes, they took me home.
- At home, I found a box that had presents from my cousins Sherry and Billy. There was some super fun toys in there... my favorite things in there were the Frozen blanket and Frozen duct tape ("to use to fix things that are broken").
- After Daddy got home, I got to open my birthday presents from Daddy and Mommy. I was most excited about the toy that lets me sing Frozen songs with a microphone.
- Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, and I went to Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner and games. I played so much and had a great time. I even got to dance with the big mouse and when he threw the tickets in the air, the other girls with me all gave me their tickets. It was so super sweet of them. After playing more games and picking out my prizes, we returned home.
- At home, I opened Grandma and Grandpa's present to me and it was a princess bike! I was so excited to ride it and was really starting to get the hang of it by the end. While riding, Aunt Marsha called for me, so I took my first phone call on the bike like a big girl.
- We left the house to go to the football game to cheer on the Cardinals. I had lots of friends to play with and wore myself out running and playing games with the kids. It seemed like an exciting football game, especially at the end of the game because everyone was yelling and jumping up and down a lot.
- After a little relaxation time at home, it was bedtime. Mommy told me tomorrow would be a very busy day, so I need my rest.
