March 27, 2015

Highlights of the Day:
  • Woke up and Daddy took me to get a donut.  I love Donut Friday!
  • Had a great day at school today and got a smiley!  I even brought home details about some special Easter events (egg dyeing, egg hunt, party!) that will happen next week at school.  I'm so excited!
  • Daddy picked me up from school.  We came home and relaxed and watched a bit of tv while waiting for Mommy.
  • The rest of the evening was spent being lazy since we were all so tired from a long week.  We played Go Fish with my new fishy cards then watched a couple of shows on television.  I did take Mommy's phone and take a couple of pictures and even recorded myself singing one of my Alyson-original songs.
  • Mommy showed me a picture of her office and it looked like a party... streamers everywhere.  I asked if she was mad at who did it and she said she just laughed and she loved it.  I asked if her office was always going to look like that and she said no, she already cleaned it up.  I was a little disappointed that it had been cleaned.  She did bring me a pom-pom from her decorated office for me to play with.  It goes great with other one I had gotten from one of her students during football season.  Now I have a blue, white, and silver one to go with my red and silver one.
  • I'm looking forward to tomorrow... sleeping in, going to a special event at the mall, going to a movie and seeing my friend, and maybe even more stuff.  It should be a great day!

March 26, 2015

Highlights of the Day:
  • Mommy and Daddy both dropped me off at school which was weird but nice.
  • I had a great day at school.  We played on the playground and I played Barbies with Kensie.  I also played with Stella this morning too.  It was a great day and I got another smiley!
  • Had a snack of blackberries and watched a little television after getting home.
  • Daddy decided to take us to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner.  It was delicious!  I got to make beautiful ponies on the game box there, got to play the claw machine, and told the waitress way more than she wanted to know about everything.
  • Went to Shepherd with Mommy and Daddy for a meeting.  It was long and all people did was talk, but I was excited to get a few glittery Easter eggs.  I also got to play with/in a box and one of the college girls downloaded a princess app for me to play with on her phone.  I'm glad I have such good friends at those meetings since they seem pretty boring.
  • On the way home, we all practiced counting and I told Mommy and Daddy that I wanted to count to 100.  With their help, I did it.  I also started counting by tens all by myself without any direction from Mommy and Daddy.  We had just finished counting to 100 and then I said, "fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, one hundred!"  They seemed shocked and proud!
  • Was quick to go to bed since we didn't get home until way after bedtime.  Hopefully I'm not too tired in the morning.

March 25, 2015

Highlights of the Day:
  • I was tired this morning but got ready like a big girl and even got to wear my Hello Kitty snowflake shirt which was perfect for today since we had some freezing rain.
  • At school, I played with Kensie... we played kitchen and Barbies together.  It was fun!
  • I got a smiley and was much better behaved...  Mommy thinks it had a little to do with my choice of playmates.  She and Daddy were super proud that I had a great day today!
  • Daddy picked me up and took me to McDonalds in Hagerstown since they have a great indoor play area.  I had such a great time and I got stickers and a Barbie coloring book in my Happy Meal.
  • I watched a little television while Daddy did some housework then played outside in the dark while he burned a few sticks to clean up the yard.
  • It was a great evening, though I missed Mommy.  She was out with her friends.  She got home just in time to look at a book and tuck me into bed.

March 24, 2015

Highlights of the Day:
  • I wore my super cute unicorn shirt this morning.  I love that shirt!
  • At school, we made paper easter eggs today and I picked lots of colors to decorate mine.  I put blue on it for Mommy, green for Daddy, a little pink and purple for me since they are my favorites, then added silver and yellow together to make a cool color.  My teacher hung mine in the hallway.  Mommy said she would have to take a picture of it the next time she is there.
  • Today was rough and I wasn't really in the mood to listen to my teachers.  They weren't happy with me but I explained myself to Mommy and Daddy.  I got in trouble for kicking a toy on the playground (I told Mommy that it was because I thought it would be wet and didn't want to get my hands wet) and I kept messing with the Velcro on my shoes over and over again after being asked not to (I told Mommy that my sock was halfway off my foot in my shoe).
  • After dinner at home, I went to Ms. Sierra's for a little while.  Daddy and Mommy both had events at their schools that they had to go to so it was nice to have someone to play with instead of running with them.  I even got to color in a new Sophia the First coloring book that Ms. Sierra had for me and Mr. Calvin had Swedish Fish for me... YUM!
  • I promised Mommy and Daddy that I would be better at listening tomorrow.

March 23, 2015

Highlights of the Day:
  • Another early Monday... yuck!  So tired!
  • I had a great day at school.  We had our monthly trip to the library where they read us books, showed us a movie, and even let us play with the puzzles.  It was so much fun!
  • I played with superheroes while waiting to be picked up by Daddy then called Mommy to tell her that "I had a super duper very good girl day today" (smiley).  She was so happy!
  • Daddy took me to gymnastics where I flipped forward and backward on the lower of the uneven bars.  We also practiced our show which is next week.  I can't wait for the show and have to pick our my monkey shirt to wear.
  • I played outside a few minutes with my toys.  I even tied my jump rope to my hula hoop to make an "anchor" which Mommy said I used more like a lasso or life preserver, throwing it and pulling it back.  It was a little chilly outside, so we didn't stay out long.
  • After dinner, we all relaxed on the couch.  It was so nice having Daddy home this evening now that his play is finished.  We were all so comfy that we fell asleep.  It ended up being an early night in bed for all of us.  Mondays are rough!

March 22, 2015

Highlights of the Day:
  • Woke up and climbed in bed with Mommy and Daddy.  The first thing I did was lean over to Daddy and tell him that Mommy and I painted our fingernails last night, then I told Mommy I was hungry so she fixed me breakfast.
  • I wore a new outfit to church today.  I felt super cute in it and I tried out three different pairs of shoes with the outfit throughout the day.
  • While Daddy was at his play, Mommy and I did some shopping (I asked Mommy to take pictures of me with some flowers).  I also rode around on the toilet paper while shopping at Target... It was the softest seat possible.  Mommy even bought me some things and I especially was excited about the letter and number stamps.  It was the first thing I wanted to do when we got home.  After stamping, we played outside a bit.  I tried out my new hula hoop, jump rope, and yo-yo and also biked around the neighborhood a bit.  I made sure to take the essentials with me in my bike basket (gummies in case I got hungry, a Band-Aid in case I got hurt, water, and my Elsa doll that I have named "Sunscreen."  (I told Mommy that I liked the name Sunscreen and that she and I were going to go to the beach and we would have to put sunscreen on both of us.)  Biking was so much fun and I'm getting much better on my bike, even though my wheels need pumped up a bit.  Daddy will have to work on that tomorrow.
  • We spent the evening going through my clothes, getting rid of what is too small and reorganizing what's left.  It's amazing how much clothes I have!
  • At bedtime, Mommy was yelling at the television.  The Mountaineers were playing basketball and it must be a big game or something.  Hopefully she isn't too loud that she keeps me up.
  • While out and about today, I told Mommy that my "Creedo" (combination of creed and motto) is "Be helpful and be creative."  Mommy thinks this comes from watching Cinderella and me hearing Ella's life motto, "Always have courage and be kind."  She loved my "Creedo" and thought it was perfect for me, both helpful and creative!

March 21, 2015

Highlights of the Day:
  • Woke up and got up with Daddy for breakfast and to watch my Barbie movie that we had rented from Redbox.  When he left to go help some people, I climbed in bed with Mommy and tried entertaining myself to let her sleep a little more, but I needed her attention a little too much.
  • Mommy finally got up and she took me to Bob Evans for my second breakfast (she called it brunch).  I ate a piggy pancake.  It was delicious!  I entertained everyone in the restaurant, especially while we waiting for our table.  I told everyone that Mommy had been to Bob Evan's farm (the one pictured on the wall).  I was also excited to see Kendall working and had to give him my placemat that Mommy and I had drawn on.
  • Mommy did some housework while I finished my movie and said her name every minute or two, wanting to show her something even though she told me she was busy.  I think she likes me wanting her attention all the time.
  • After Daddy got home, he and I took a nap while Mommy went to school to do a little work.  When she got home, she found me in the bathtub playing!  Daddy and I were trying to blow soap bubbles and I was giggling.  I love bath time!
  • Dinner was delicious and it was nice to eat with Daddy before he left for his play.
  • Mommy and I saw her show choir perform tonight.  They were great!  They even sang a song from Shrek!  Before the show, Mommy took a selfie of the two of us together then while she wasn't paying attention I took a few of just me.  She was quite surprised when she looked at the pictures later.  :)
  • We got an ice cream cone then went home to watch Curious George 2 and to paint our nails.  Mommy even let me paint one of her nails all by myself.  I didn't do too bad.
