A Year in the Life of our Little Girl

Highlights of the Day:

I woke up and immediately said, "Is tomorrow my birthday?" I'm getting so excited!
Had a great day at school making popcorn art (and eating popcorn) as well as playing outside. I even got to wear a super cool birthday crown today since tomorrow is my birthday.
Mommy and Grandma picked me up at school. I was happy to see Grandma and Grandpa (and Lucy too).
I got mail today... a card from Uncle Bill with money! I was so excited and can't wait to do a little shopping.
After a little play time with my neighbor friend and dinner, we walked to the football game. We cheered loud for the Cardinals. I loved watching the cheerleaders and the student section was quite entertaining. I even made my own "confetti cannon" using the leftover streamers from their confetti cannon. I also got to play with my friends Olivia and Keegan. I also got to visit with Destinee who kept coming to visit me and even let me have her "spirit shaker."
Throughout the night we kept counting down to how many more hours (and minutes) it was until I turn 5. I can't wait for tomorrow and my party. I will be a great day!

Highlights of the Day:

I got to wear my My Little Pony dress to school today. I love wearing it!
I had fun at school. We played, sang Frozen songs, and did the limbo.
Mommy picked me up and took me to Chick-fil-A for dinner and to play. I had such fun playing and there was a lot of silly screaming and running around in there with my new friends.
Once we got home, I found a package on the porch with my name on it. There was a super cool toy in it, but no name. I'm not sure who sent it to me but I loved it. My neighbor friend and I argued over who would get to play with the unicorn and princess, so Mommy had to set a timer for us to keep taking turns with them.
I helped (for less than a minute) Mommy work on the decorations for my party. I decided I would rather play instead of help.
Once Daddy got home, I visited with him a few minutes, ate a bowl of cereal, then headed to bed.
I can't wait to see Grandma and Grandpa tomorrow!

Highlights of the Day:

Wore a cute dress (again!) and had a great day at school. We played outside two times where I go to play in the toy taxi car (and I got to be outside helper). We learned about our five senses and we had a great day!
Daddy picked me up earlier than normal so I could come home and play with my neighbor friend. We played in the bouncy house, played at her house, and played on the swings. We played Barbie dolls and "all kinds of stuff." We have so much fun together.
I got a birthday card in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa. I was super excited about the card and the money too!
Mommy got home and then we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings for trivia. We haven't gotten to go for a few weeks, so it was nice to be able to go again. We saw my friends that had given me a late Christmas gift a while back. They area always so nice to me. I was such a good girl, watching My Little Pony on the iPad while Mommy and Daddy played (and won) trivia. I played the claw machine a few times but didn't win anything.

Highlights of the Day:

Slept in a bit this morning then decided to wear my Hello Kitty dress. I felt super cute!
Had a great time at school today. I got to investigate a sunflower using a magnifying lens and tweezers. I felt like such a scientist! I also got to play with pink play-doh and am once again the outside helper this week.
Daddy picked me up from school and we came home and I got to play with my neighbor friend. We playing in the bouncy house then ran in the sprinkler for a little while until I had to go with Daddy to the theater for his audition. I was a super big girl while we were there.
Mommy got home in time to tuck me in to bed. I gave her big hugs and told her I missed her and loved her. I think it made her day!
Before getting in bed, I decided to climb into Mommy and Daddy's suitcase and Mommy was quick to snap a couple of pictures of silly me.
Only a few more days until my birthday!

Highlights of the Day:

It felt like a Fall morning, cool and crisp air. Daddy decided I should wear jeans instead of my typical dress. I wore a Hello Kitty shirt and cute jeans, so I was okay with it.
Had a great day at school, but was disappointed we didn't pick our new jobs yet. Ms. Sara will be there tomorrow, so I guess we will do it then. We went outside twice today!
Got to play with my neighbor friend for a little bit afterschool, then went to Ms. Sierra's house for a few hours. While there, we went for a walk around the neighborhood, played with the ball and all the toys I brought with me, and I got to eat an ice cream sandwich. Ms. Sierra told Mommy that I was very silly and that we had fun. She also told Mommy I was a good girl.
I was nearly asleep when Mommy and Daddy picked me up and it was past bedtime, so I went straight to bed after hugs and kisses and ugga-muggas.

Highlights of the Day:

Woke up and got dressed and ready for church then cuddled in bed with Mommy a little longer. Daddy went to church before us then we finished getting ready.
Had fun playing with Tori at church. I can't wait for her to come to my birthday party on Saturday!
After church, I talked Mommy into taking me to Cracker Barrel since Daddy had other plans. We ate and played the table game. I actually did pretty well. When we left, we stopped at a table to play checkers. It was perfect because there was one big rocking chair on one side and one little one on the other... perfect for Mommy and me.
I was Mommy's big helper at her school for a little bit while she did a little straightening up in her office and did a little work. I even made some new artwork for her door.
Back at home, my neighbor friend and I played and played! We had fun wearing princess dresses and jewelry, watching a movie on the iPad, and Mommy even painted fingernails and toenails for both of us girls.
I sang a lot today, mostly made-up songs that were about something that was said or something going on around me. Mommy thinks I'm silly when I do that.

Highlights of the Day:

Let Daddy sleep in a little this morning then we both decided to let Mommy and Indy sleep since it was pouring the rain and we couldn't do much.
Decided to go to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and some playtime while the weather wasn't nice. Thanks to Pawpaw Randall and Mawmaw Arlene for the birthday money... this is how I chose to spend it. :) I had a great time there playing lots of games and even got to play with my friend Ellie from school. I got some great prizes (mostly small animals) and even got a card with my picture on it and one with Pinkie Pie's picture (by accident since I moved and it took a picture of my shirt instead of my face... how silly!).
Went to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the Mountaineers play football. I had fun and Gabriel even showed up with his Mommy so we spent a few minutes together.
We had to do some shopping at Petsmart so I immediately ran to the cats. One cat there LOVED me... it kept trying to catch my hand as I slid it across the glass. We "played" through the glass for several minutes. It was sweet! We also stopped by Wal-Mart to pick up a few more things for my party and then we came home and I played with my neighbor friend going back and forth from house to house.
