January 23, 2016

Most Memorable Events of the Day:
  • Woke up to LOTS of snow!  And it kept coming down all day!
  • It was so exciting to look out the window and see it all!
  • I spent some time playing with Addison.  We even went outside for a few minutes.  The blowing snow was a little annoying and neither of us liked snow in our faces.  We were disappointed that the snow was dry and that it was too difficult to make snowballs or a snowman.  Daddy said we couldn't walk through the high snow to go try to sled and worries the snow won't be good for sledding.  We did jump off the side of the porch into the snow which was fun.  I also went "swimming" through it.  We had to go back inside to warm up and play some more.
  • Can't wait to go back outside and play some more tomorrow!

Most Memorable Events of the Day:
  • I got to spend the day at home getting ready for the "big snow."  It was a snow day from school, but didn't even start snowing until 2:00 or so... it was kinda strange.
  • Addison came over and spent nearly the entire day with me.  We played with nearly everything in the house and kept wanting to go outside to play in the snow, but Mommy and Daddy said we would have to wait.
  • Mommy and I made snow cream after Addison went home.  It was delicious.  I added white chocolate chips and Sixlets to mine.  YUM!
  • When watching the snow, I told Mommy, "You know how you say God is bowling when it thunders, I think God is knitting and some of it is coming loose and causing it to snow."
  • Before bed, Mommy asked me some questions and typed my answers.  I think it was something to put on Facebook.  Here is what she asked and how I answered:
    • 1. What is something I always say to you? "I love you."
      2. What makes me happy? "Me"
      3. What makes me sad? "That I'm sad."...
      4. How do I make you laugh? Make a funny face."
      5. What was I like as a child? "Everyone loves you."
      7. How tall am I? "Almost thirty bucks... I don't even know."
      8. What is my favorite thing to do? "Work."
      9. What do I do when you're not here? "Watch tv.".
      10. What am I really good at? "Working."
      11. What am I not very good at? "Well, you're good at everything, so I don't know if that counts."
      12. What do I do for a job? "You work at the high school."
13.What is my favorite food? "I wish I could say your favorite animal... because it's owls. Your favorite food is broccoli."
      14. What do you enjoy doing with me? "Cuddling."
    • (Mommy forgot #6...  Oops!)

January 21, 2016

Most Memorable Events of the Day:
  • Wore one of my new fuzzy warm sweatshirts over my t-shirt to school.  It was so cozy!
  • Learned about fossils and made our very own fossil today at school.
  • Spent the evening playing with Addison.  We made a mess with my dress up clothes in my room then set up a tent and tunnel in the foyer.  All of this occurred before Mommy even got home.  After she got home, we ate dinner and spent some time playing games on the Wii Fit.  Mommy was proud of how we took turns and shared which is often a struggle for us.  We are so much like sisters sometimes!  I sent home one walkie talkie with Addison and kept one for myself.  Mommy said it has to stay off until tomorrow morning and then we can try to talk to one another.  Before bed, I was already telling her I loved her and chatting.
  • It sounds like some serious snow is coming our way tomorrow.  I predicted 24 inches of snow at school today.  I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

Most Memorable Events of the Day:
  • Turned in more snowflake/snowballs for reading books at home.  I only have a few more to do before I get my prize at school.
  • Made a dinosaur skeleton with q-tips.  We also put our feet inside the outlined foot of a big dinosaur print in our classroom.  It was huge!
  • Mommy surprised me by taking me to the Be-Hive when she picked me up from school.  A lady from Target was there and we made "snowman soup" (Styrofoam cup with snowman face, hot cocoa packet, marshmallows, and peppermints).  I can't wait to enjoy it!
  • I played with Addison a little while at home, had a cup of hot cocoa (thanks Daddy!), and then read books with Mommy before heading to bed.

January 19, 2016

Most Memorable Events of the Day:
  • Started learning all about dinosaurs at school today.  We even did a computer museum tour.  I was so excited to tell Mommy and Daddy about it.
  • I got to play with Addison a little bit and even had a "tea party" with my stuffed animals on the landing of the stairs.  We didn't' get to play long since we had to go to Mommy's school for a meeting.
  • We ate pizza and I ran around the library while Mommy, Daddy, and a few friends had their meeting.  Daddy put "How to Train a Dragon" on the iPad and I told him, "but I don't even HAVE a dragon."  Everyone giggled.  Other than watch the iPad, I found an animal book and flipped through the pages, even showing Mommy my favorites.
  • Before bed, I had my bedtime snack (and drink) in my Shopkins Snackeez.

January 18, 2016

Most Memorable Events of the Day:
  • Wore my super cute leopard shirt to school today with my pink cowboy boots and jeans.
  • There were only four people in my class since it was a "holiday."  I still had fun and we even had a few bigger kids join us today.
  • This evening, I got to play with Addison again.  She joined us for dinner and we played at my house for a while then her house.  We are getting good with the walkie-talkies... even saying "over" and "copy" and "that's the signal."  Mommy thinks it's cute.
  • At bedtime, I ate veggie straws and pretended to be a walrus.  Such a silly goose!

Most Memorable Events of the Day:
  • Had fun at church and even got to wear a beautiful dress.
  • Spent most of the afternoon and evening playing with Addison, running between the houses, playing with toys, nail polish, and walkie-talkies.  I even joined her and her family for dinner.
  • At bedtime, Daddy and I read a Precious Moments book and I was so proud to run downstairs and show Mommy that I could read the page that said, "Mommy, I love you."  She was proud too!
