I said:
- "Do you want to be my friend? I have to go" (to a little boy at the playground).
- "I have to go. That's my parents" (a few minutes after the above comment).
- Thank goodness it was Friday because I was so exhausted this morning. I did not want to get out of bed!
- Mommy dropped me off at school and reminded me to apologize to Ms. Ashley after she got to school for my behavior the past two days. I had a tight hold of Mommy's leg and didn't want to let go to let her go to work. Daddy told Mommy I'm not nearly as clingy with him in the mornings when he drops me off at school.
- I was mostly a big girl today. I apologized to Ms. Ashley when she got to class and was much better behaved. I didn't get any time-outs, but was a little more whiny today when I wanted the yellow toy. Since I had a better day, Mommy took me to Sheetz to get a slushie drink to celebrate. I chose a cherry slushie and Mommy chose strawberry.
- We decided since the weather was so nice to go to pick up food and take it to the playground to have a picnic. We ate then played on both playground areas. I made friends quickly and took turns playing with my new friends and Mommy and Daddy. I was a super brave climber... Mommy was impressed. I love the slides, especially the super tall one at the new playground, but my hair isn't quite a fan due to all the static.
- Back at home, I played in the back yard a few minutes. We had an extra ear of grilled corn that was leftover from earlier in the week, so Daddy had me shuck it and throw it in the yard for the squirrels to enjoy.
- We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and cuddling on the couch. We were all super tired after a busy week.
