Memories from Today:

Woke up a little before Mommy and Daddy wanted and was starving, so Mommy got up and fixed me a bowl of cereal.  After two or three more bowls of cereal, I was finally full.

We packed up our things and said goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa then hit the road back home. I didn't sleep a wink on the way which really surprised Daddy.

Once we got home and unloaded the car,  Daddy left for a meeting and I played with the neighbor boy.  A storm rolled in so Mommy and I popped popcorn and sat on the porch to watch the storm.  Luckily the more dangerous weather went slightly south, so we were able to stay outside and watch.   After the lightning had passed, the neighbor and I ran back and forth with umbrellas and I ended up with very wet shoes and clothes.  Since I was already a mess, I asked Mommy about splashing in puddles.  The two of us splashed and jumped in puddles.  It was fun!  We laughed and laughed at each other.

Memories from Today:

Woke up and ate two bowls of cereal this morning then ate a piece of fruit.

Mommy, Grandma, and I went to a church rummage sale.  We got there close to closing so I got to fill a bag for $1!  I ended up with a free stuffed animals, a marionette, and purse.  Grandma also got me a few things in her bag.

Ate and played at Chick-fil-a before heading back to Grandma's.

Gave Mommy, Grandma, and Grandpa my new instruments (gifts from Grandma and Grandpa's trip) and directed us with her "baton" (toy golf club handle).  Later I sang and even got my twirling baton to "perform" to the music.

Spent the evening with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy went to their concert.   I was creative with dominoes, played games, and even got to play a little with the neighbor girl.  It was such a fun day and I was definitely ready for bed.  Back home tomorrow!

Memories from Today:

Woke up excited to go!  I knew my teacher would be waiting for me to help her get ready... she even asked Mommy to bring me early so I could help.

At school, we had a party for a high school student who has helped with our class this year.   We also played Sparkle, a spelling game, for the first time and I won!  I was so excited and Mrs. Clark sent Mommy a couple of pictures.

Daddy picked me up about a half hour early and we headed home to pack.  I was so excited to go see Grandma and Grandpa.  On the way we played "I'm going to grandma's house" and I drew a cheat sheet to help me remember.   We also stopped to see some windmills and walk the dogs.  There were lots of rocks, so I decided to take one to show Grandma and Grandpa!

Memories from Today:

Woke up to my own alarm this morning,  though I did have trouble turning it off.

Really wanted to take the decorative "Dream Big" box to my school for a game with my friends.   I wanted to use it to store and give away a few of my stuffed animals.   Mommy convinced me to at least wait until tomorrow for show and tell day... maybe I can play my game for a center!

Walking from Mommy's school to my school, I stopped to whistle at a robin then was lucky enough to find a super cool white rock.  I was so excited about the rock that I started making up (and singing) a song,  "some rocks are white..."

After school, I helped Daddy with yard work then ran a few errands with Mommy.   We ate delicious pizza for dinner andI had some Pop Rocks candy for a treat.

After a shower,  it was bedtime!  Can't wait to see grandma and grandpa tomorrow!

Memories from Today:

I wore another kitty cat jacket this morning but this time it was a black cat. I had to show everyone at Mommy's school my hood which made me look like a cat and I even hissed which was super silly.

I had a great day at school. Mrs. Clark even sent mom a picture of me being a model/assistant. Daddy picked me up from school since Mommy had to work the softball games at her school.

I had a great time at church even though I did miss Mommy.

Memories from Today:

Another sleepy morning, but I was happy to wear my kitty cat shirt, crazy leggings, and sparkly kitty jacket.

School was super fun today and I took Mrs. Clark a note that I made her this morning. I ended the day on purple and once again worked on my homework while waiting for parent pickup.  Mommy loves that I am so responsible!

Mommy picked me up and we walked under the umbrella back to her school.

I visited a few people and spent quite a while with "duck lady" while Mommy worked.  When Mommy came to get me, she found us having a duck-drawing contest.  It was great!

Due to the cool, rainy weather,  it was a great night for cuddling on the couch as a family.  The cats even took turns joining us.  Looking forward to seeing the sun tomorrow (hopefully)!!!

Memories from Today:

The first day back to school was rough.  Getting up early, having to pick out shoes, and just getting organized was so tiring this morning.

I was super excited to see my friends and my teacher. Today I found out that I will be reading to my class in about a week. I'm super nervous but mommy seems very excited. We got our class books today that we move made for our Trooper friend. Mommy and I read it together after school.

On the way to the car after school I found a super cool rock. I had to show it to Mommy and even told her it looked like a dinosaur tooth. I had to keep it which made mommy giggle after finding so many rocks yesterday.

The first day back must have been hard on Mommy too. She took a little nap while I relaxed and watched a movie.

Memories from Today:

Woke up early and got dressed for church.  I went with Daddy to church early.  Tori and I argued like sisters off and on all morning and we didn't have Junior Soldiers so I got a little bored after Sunday School.

While eating lunch at home,  we watched the end of the Manhatten version if An American Tail.  I also helped Daddy collect stars on Mario.

Mommy and I finally did our Skittles experiment which was really cool!

I played outside with the neighbor boy.  We rode scooters, drew with chalk, watched a video on the tablet together on the porch.

Mommy cleaned out two of my backpacks in the midst of reorganizing.   She found stashes of rocks in every pocket of both backpacks.  She said she thinks I have a rock problem.  She even made me pose for a picture with all of the rocks she found (in 2 backpacks!)

While eating spaghetti for dinner, Mommy and I watched Flubber.  It was very funny!

Back to school tomorrow... I'm both sad and excited... kinda strange!

Memories from Today:

Woke up to the sound of the doorbell at Tori's house.  It was Daddy coming to pick me up.  We went home and ate breakfast and played Mario for a bit.

We spent the entire day at home since it was cold and rainy outside.  I enjoyed making a "fort" with blankets and even set up my own classroom inside.  I even had "students" (a doll I named "Alyson Junior" and a couple stuffed animals) and small buckets for each student's supplies (like we have at school).  I even borrowed Mommy's phone to use as a timer like Mrs. Clark does in class.  Mommy loved listening to me pretend to teach.

I helped Daddy win a few more levels of Mario... he says I am very helpful!  We also watched a little tv and movies and I even spent some time sorting through clothes that no longer fit and toys I no longer play with.

It was nice having a lazy day at home.  I guess Spring Break is almost over.

Memories from Today:

Had a nightmare and ended up in bed with Mommy.   After waking in the morning, I helped Daddy work in the backyard while Mommy slept in a bit.  While helping, I found my third four-leaf clover.   I was so excited to wake Mommy up and tell her all about it even though she kept sleeping or trying to.

Had "little piggy" for lunch (my choice).  Told Mommy I needed at least an hour to pack for my sleepover and freaked out when I found out I only had 45 minutes!

Was so excited to be going to Tori's for a sleepover!

Memories from Today:

Played video games and watched Big Hero 6 with Mommy and Daddy.  Helped Daddy do some yard work, pointing out all of the dog poop that he needed to pick up.

Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Chick-fil-a for dinner. I played and played with a new friend.  It was funny when we realized that we go to the same school and are in the same grade.  His mom was so happy with how we were playing together that she invited me to his birthday party that is later this month.

Mommy took me shopping at a kid's consignment sale.  We found lots of bargains including a new build-a-bear kitty that I have decided to name Skipper.  I also got a few dresses, skirts, and shorts.

Back at home, Mommy and I made pom-pom bunnies and chicks with googly eyes.  It was super fun!

Memories from Today:

Today was a lazy day!  Played video games, watched a little television, and played with the cats and dogs.  I wad helpful in letting Daddy get some work done at the house while Mommy went to school for a bit to work.

Church was fun tonight.  I loved having time with Tori to play and run around.  We made music videos and I enjoyed playing in Tori's van.

Memories from Today:

Early morning, but since I was excited it didn't seem so bad.

Mommy, Daddy, and I rode the train to Union Station.  We explored so much,  walking over 11 miles before heading back home.  We fed our squirrel friends, checked out the National Art Gallery.  We went to the Natural History Museum, saw some amazing animal pictures and got to experienced the butterflies.  I even had one land on my shirt!  I was so excited!  We saw Dorothy's ruby slippers along with some other cool things at the American History Museum.

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking and walking!  We visited the Washington monument and the World War II memorial as well as the driver, tidal basin, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.  I learned more about my Popaw and even found my second four-leaf clover!

We had such a great day and were so tired and ready for bed when we got home!
