Alyson's Antics for the Day:

I said:

  • "Clap hands, Mommy!" (while starting to hit Mommy's hands...  Mommy thought I was high-fiving or something, but then I started to sing some rhyming words and she realized I was doing a pattycake-like game with her).
  • "Mommy, you're my super helper... throw this away" (after getting my sticker off of its paper and having Mommy throw away the trash).

    I did:
    •  It was chilly this morning, so I wore my grey fleece sweatshirt.  It kept me warm and cozy.  I also had to wear my monster jacket since it was raining and I needed a hood for my head.
    • I had a fun day at school learning about pigs and even made a pig on paper for school.  Mommy thought it was super cute when she picked me up.
    • At home, Indy came running to meet me at the door.  He's my buddy.
    • After dinner with Daddy, we went to church where I played with Rebekah, danced and sang on the stage, and played the drums like Grandpa while Daddy had his meeting with Major Story.
    • When Mommy got home after Daddy and I returned, she read me a story and I fell asleep.
    • Only 4 days until The Wizard of Oz.  I can't wait!

    Alyson's Antics for the Day:

    I said:

    • "Neigh, neigh!  Look at my horse.  It's name is Super Star the horse.  It's gold and violet."
    • "It's called a button because it says 'snap'."

    I did:
    •  I woke up on my own this morning before Daddy came to wake me up.  I was a big girl and got dressed in my giraffe shirt and pants all by myself.
    • When Daddy took me into my school, I was such a big girl.  I sat in the rocking chair and he left without any issue.
    • Mommy and Daddy got my "report card/observation sheet."  I got a very good report from my teachers showing that I can do everything they wanted me to be able to do.  Mommy and Daddy were super proud of me!
    • I spent a couple of hours with Ms. Sierra and her family while Mommy and Daddy went to a Young Life banquet.  I had fun with Mr. Calvin (AKA Mr. C) and Ms. Sierra.
    • At home, I told Mommy all about how I learned about horses at school today and she was so excited to see my beautiful horse.
    • I put a blue plastic bracelet on my arm and told Mommy that it has "active power," then proceeded the push the imaginary button on it and take off running.  Mommy asked to borrow it and had me show her the "button."  When she pushed "the button," she ran super fast.  When Daddy pushed the button it didn't do anything for him.  It only gives "active power" to girls not boys.  Sorry Daddy!

    Alyson's Antics for the Day:
     I said:

    • "London bridges falling down, falling down, falling down... London bridges falling down, my fair mateys."
    • "Mommy, you're my sweetie pie."

      I did:
    •  I was so tired this morning.  Mondays are rough!  Daddy got me ready and took me to school since Mommy was already gone when I woke up.  Daddy says he will be taking me to school for a while during testing since Mommy is super busy.
    • Daddy picked me up from school too and got me ready for dance class.  Mommy met us there and fixed my hair for me.
    • Once home from dance, we ate dinner and I helped clean the porch.  I was in charge of the dust pan and did a great job helping.  I also brought my toy puppy on the porch to play, but he got tired so I put him in the puppy crate to take a nap then fed him a walnut.  I think he likes nuts.
    • I showed Mommy and Daddy a little of the dance I learned at class and they were very excited.  They also liked seeing the dance picture that was taken on Saturday. The group picture hasn't been posted yet, just the individual.  Mommy's a little disappointed at my goofy smile, but of course I'm still cute!  She just said that means more pictures after the recital.
    • Mommy and I did take some super silly pictures.  I told Mommy to use the flash and I would keep my eyes open... that didn't work out so well...

    Alyson's Antics for the Day:
     I said:

    • "It says none hot veggies" (talking about the message in the cup holder of my car seat...  Mommy told me it really says, "no hot beverages")
    • When I get bigger and when my ears don't get so loud, maybe I can ride a motorcycle."
    • "Does it look like a football?" (asking Mommy what my poop looked like after she told me it was big)...  Mommy laughed and laughed.

      I did:
    •  I woke up at Ms. Sierra's then Daddy came to pick me up.  We got breakfast to bring home and eat before getting ready for church.  I felt like a princess in my purple dress and white sandals.
    • After lunch, I came home to change clothes, then Mommy and I went back to her school to help clean up after last night's prom.  Gabriel was there and so was another girl that I played with.  Her Mommy teaches at Mommy's school.  We had fun running from "zombies" and sitting at the tables like high school kids.  Gabriel brought me a Perry drink and a coloring book... how sweet!
    • After a nap at home, we ate dinner and then I got to play outside with chalk (even writing my name all by myself) and playing my bubble blower.  I also rode my scooter up and down the sidewalk.  It was fun!
    • I had to have a bath, especially since I was covered in chalk.  Luckily I had my Angry Bird towel/blanket to keep me warm after my bath.

    Alyson's Antics for the Day:
     I said:

    • "I have to find my work jeans." (when looking for pants to wear- I ended up finding my jean-like leggings to wear)
    • "The God of angel army is always by my side." (singing a popular Christian song and changing the lyrics to my own as needed)
      I did:
    •  I woke up early ready to get up and eat.  It was a busy morning, eating breakfast and then getting dressed to leave.
    • I was a super helper at Mommy's school setting up for prom.  I helped work on the lights, the balloons, the centerpieces, and most importantly, told everyone that Mommy bought donuts for them to eat and showed them where to find the donuts.  Mommy was proud of me for being such a big helper.
    • We ran from the school home to change clothes then to dance pictures.  It was hectic!  They took a group picture of my class and an individual picture too.  The photographer asked me, "Is that your regular smile?" when taking my picture, so Mommy can't wait to see what the pictures look like since she wasn't allowed to be in the room during the pictures.
    • We stopped at Chick-fil-A for lunch and they were having a big anniversary party.  I got my picture taken with the cow, jumped and slid on the inflatables, and of course I also ate food.
    • After my nap, we got ready and I went to Ms. Sierra's to spend the evening while Mommy and Daddy worked the prom at Mommy's school.
    • All day when we rode in the car, I kept singing a song, so Mommy had me video myself singing it on the way to Ms. Sierra's.  I love that song!

    Alyson's Antics for the Day:

    I said:

    • "Don't help me!  I wanted to do it!" (Trying to put up my tent and not wanting Mommy to help)
    • "I learned that the baby room has stars on the ceiling, but they don't light up."
    • "I am a robot."
    • "You count to 8 then come find me....  I'll count to 8 then find you" (while playing hide-n-seek with Mommy).

    I did:
    • This morning was rough since I was so tired, but I was excited to go see my friends at school.  When I got to school, Olive and another friend were wearing hats on their heads even when they weren't supposed to.  Olive wore a construction worker hat and the other girl wore a firefighter hat.
    • Daddy picked me up since Mommy was decorating for something called Prom.  I'm not sure what that is, but Mommy told me it was a dance of some sort.
    • Daddy and I had a relaxing couple of hours at home eating lasagna and hanging out.
    • When Mommy got home, I roasted block "marshmallows" by the fireplace, played hide-n-seek with Mommy and played with my LeapPen.  I used it to review my letters and play a few games in the books.  It was fun!
