Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • Daddy woke me up a little bit earlier today. He seemed to be in a rush. I ate waffles and dip this morning for breakfast and then mommy drove me to Miss Cheri's in a big blue van. Once at Ms. Cheri's, I realized that I didn't have my sticker book but I unloaded my entire bag just to make sure.  Ms. Cheri found some stickers at her house for me to play with.
  • Mommy picked me up from Ms. Cheri's and we picked up daddy from home. Then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. I walked my dog into the B-Dubs and everyone talked about how cute I was. I had mac-n-cheese for dinner.  I got to play with my sticker book while there.  I put the first sticker, the bird, in place upside down but the rest were nearly perfectly placed.  I was good at figuring out where each sticker should be placed.
  • I cuddled with daddy when we got home. We watched a little bit of George and then played around the house. I jumped onto the couch pillows over and over.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • Daddy woke me up at about 6:00 this morning and I ate muffins for breakfast.
  • Mommy took me to get donuts today, even though it's not Friday... she said it was "Donut Thursday" this week since tomorrow will be a crazy day and we won't have time for donuts.
  • At Cheri's I was worried about my donut and my shoes  when Mommy left.
  • Mrs. Story picked me up from Ms. Cheri's house right after my nap today.  Ms. Cheri had to go somewhere.  It was fun hanging out with her and she even took me to church and let me play while waiting for Daddy to come get me.  I especially enjoyed singing "Twinkle, Twinkle" with the microphone.
  • Daddy picked me up from church after his afterschool group and we came home for a few minutes before heading to Daddy's school.
  • We ate spaghetti there and ran around the cafeteria.  There were lots of people there.  A couple of Daddy's students talked to me.
  • When we came home it was bath time.
  • I told Daddy when it was bedtime and we went upstairs and after reading a few books, I finally fell asleep.
  • I'm wondering where Mommy was this evening...  I only saw Daddy after leaving Ms. Cheri's.  I love spending time with Daddy, but I missed Mommy while she away at her meetings.

Note from Mommy:  Thank you Natasha, Mrs. Story, and Rebekah for taking pictures and videos so I have some to post....  Jeff forgot to take pictures.  Look at my Facebook page for a couple of videos that were taken....  FB wouldn't let me save them to post them here.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • Daddy woke me up this morning and after breakfast, he dressed me in a pretty green shirt and grey jeans.  Mommy said that my shirt said LOVE.  It also had pretty hearts on it.  I like it.
  • After fighting with Daddy about what shoes I was going to wear (of course I decided on the red ones), it was time to go to Ms. Cheri's house for the day.
  • I was excited to show her my hair clips this morning when Mommy left to go to school.
  • Ms. Cheri and Courtney both fixed my hair today.  I left the clips in for about an hour the first time, then a couple of hours the second time.  Mommy is hoping I finally get used to them since she is tired of seeing my hair in my face.
  • When Mommy picked me up, I gave Payton a big hug and kiss and said "Bye Bye" to Ms. Cheri.  Mommy drove us home and then we helped Daddy fix dinner.
  • I wasn't too hungry for dinner since Mommy and Daddy had both separately given me a few snacks before we ate.
  • I climbed all over the couch and chair and acted like my typical monkey self tonight.
  • Mommy and Daddy said I'm going to have to start listening more, so I said, "okay."
  • We walked over to the church to talk to Mrs. Story for a few minutes about tomorrow, then walked right back home.  I loved seeing the Christmas lights on the houses while we were walking.
  • I played with my blocks and read some books before bed.
  • I sure was cranky at bedtime, so I'm sure Mommy and Daddy are hoping I wake up in a better mood tomorrow.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I decided I would wake up yelling for Mommy and Daddy about 4:00 this morning.  When Daddy went to get me out of bed, he found me without my diaper or pants.  He put a diaper on me and let me cuddle with him and Mommy until it was time to get out of bed.
  • On the way to Ms. Cheri's, I entertained Mommy with a very jazzy version of the ABCs.  Mommy was very proud of my performance.
  • Once at Ms. Cheri's, I was so excited to show her my sticker book, especially the animal pages.  She was happy to look at it while Mommy snuck out the door to go to work.  Ms. Cheri said I kept putting stickers on my hand then back in book throughout the day.
  • When Mommy picked me up, she took me to her school to help with the end of WyldLife.  Daddy was there too.  I said, "My happy!  My happy!"  because I got to go to school too.  I helped pick tickets for the raffle, played with Mommy's whistle, and ran around the school a little bit before helping Daddy take a couple of the high school boys home after helping.
  • I came back into Mommy's school with Daddy to pick her up and while waiting for her to get her things, I colored a pretty picture in the floor.  I love Mommy's "crayons" (colored pencils) and wanted to hang my picture on one of the teacher's doors and on the trashcan before Mommy and Daddy talked me into bringing it home to hang on the fridge.
  • We went to dinner at Hoss's since Daddy's Debate Team had a fundraiser there tonight.  I ate grilled cheese, fries, bread, and even ice cream!  It was yummy!  I also got to color a picture there too.  It had football players on it, so when Mommy asked what color I was coloring them, I said, "Mountaineer football!  Let's go Mountaineers!"  Mommy was so proud!
  • After dinner, we came home and watched a little Diego and relaxed.  It was a busy day!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • Daddy made me get up about 6:15 and I was so tired.  It's hard to get back to a regular schedule after a holiday.
  • After getting dressed and eating breakfast, it was time to go to Ms. Cheri's.  Daddy helped me to the car but then had to finish getting his stuff ready.  I wanted him to go with us, but Mommy said he had to go to school.  I said, "Daddy goes to school, Mommy goes to school, Alyson go to school."
  • Once we got to Ms. Cheri's I was so excited to show her my new coat and take my shoes off that I didn't even notice that Mommy had left.
  • During the day, I told Ms. Cheri all about the holiday and about turkey and Grandma and Grandpa and shopping.  I even mentioned Lucy, Grandma and Grandpa's dog, when we were looking at my kitty cat book.  I said, "Gemma, Cameron, Lucy."  Before Mommy picked me up, I was telling Ms. Cheri about foxes, llamas, and squirrels and even talked about them living in my tree and I even mentioned being scared of deer.  Ms. Cheri didn't know what I was talking about.  Mommy wonders if I'm watching too much Diego since it's all about the animals.
  • Mommy drove me home to see Daddy but I had to point out the moon on the way.  It was still daylight, but the moon was so pretty.  I also saw the beautiful snowflakes downtown and pointed out other Christmas decorations that I saw on the way.
  • At home, Mommy fixed dinner and I jumped on the couch and threw all the pillows in the floor and jumped into them.  After dinner, I dug all of my bowls, cups, plates, and even some old bottles out of my drawers and put them on the floor.  I was so proud of myself and called it "my house."  Mommy and Daddy took turns dancing to the new Zumba Wii game, so I danced with them too.  It was fun!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I woke up at about 7:40 and Mommy and I went downstairs to eat breakfast and play and let Daddy sleep a little longer.  We ate muffins and had milk while watching Diego.
  • Once Daddy got up, I was more worried about him than Mommy.
  • We all got ready for church then had to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa so they could head back home.
  • When Mommy and I walked to church, I kicked my way through all of the leaves, especially those in the parking lot at the corner business.  There are lots of them there to play in.
  • I played with Sierra and Amber at church today then played in the leaves on the way home.
  • Daddy took us to Panera Bread for lunch.  When we sat down at the table next to a college girl who was studying, I said, "I Alyson" and when she didn't hear me I said, "I Alyson" (louder) then started singing "Twinkle, Twinkle" to her.  I ate nearly an entire bowl of mac-n-cheese all by myself.  It was delicious!  I also ate some of the bread with "dip." In between bites, I would lay my head on the bench seat and rest for a minute since it was almost nap time and I was tired.
  • Once in the car, it didn't take me too long to fall asleep...  Mommy and Daddy each went into a store while the other one stayed in the car with me to let me finish my nap.  By the time we had gotten home, I had napped an hour in the car so I was ready to play.
  • When we walked in the front door of the house, I said, "Grandma, Grandpa?"  Mommy and Daddy had to explain to me that they had gone home.  I didn't realize that when I said goodbye to them that they would actually go home.
  • We went upstairs and decorated the tree in my bedroom.  It is so pretty.  I loved handing Mommy the ornaments and watching her.  She says we will put up a bigger tree in another week or so downstairs.  I can't wait!
  • The rest of the evening, I played with my toys, dumped buckets of toys over and over again then cleaned them up, I climbed all over everything (Mommy and Daddy say I act like a monkey) then finally got ready for bed.
  • It's been a busy holiday weekend, now I'm ready for a regular week so I can rest!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I woke up early this morning and Daddy brought me downstairs to play.
  • I showered and got dressed and ate muffins and a banana, then helped Daddy with a little bit of his cereal.
  • After Mommy, Grandma, and Grandpa were awake and ready, we got in the car... our first stop was McDonalds to grab breakfast since I was the only one who had eaten.  I decided to eat a pancake while everyone else was eating in the car.
  • For the next three hours, we rode in the car to Richmond to see Mawmaw and Pawpaw.  I played with the iPad for part of the trip and discovered Garage Band and was having fun making my own song during the trip.  I love visiting Mawmaw and saying hi to the fish in the tank downstairs and saying hi to all of the people in her building.  I also liked playing in the chair that goes up and down with the remote.  I remembered that chair from last time we visited.  Mawmaw loved listening to me sing Twinkle, Twinkle and say my ABCs.
  • After Danny stopped by, we left to go to see Pawpaw.  First, we stopped at Burger King to eat a late lunch.  I remembered the water fountains from the last time we had visited Pawpaw.  Pawpaw waved at me and when I blew a kiss at him, he blew one back.  I think he was happy to see me.  It was nice to see him sitting up in his chair this visit.  While Mommy was visiting, I ran around the place with Daddy and wore him out.  I gave Mawmaw and Pawpaw kisses and hugs when it was time to leave, then we headed back to the car.
  • It seemed like a much longer trip back to our house.  I finally took a nap on the way back, about 4 hours later than normal.
  • Once at home, I had a bite to eat, played with Gemma, we wore headbands.  I also put together (with Mommy's help) a Halloween puzzle (and other Halloween toys) Mawmaw gave me.  I gave Gemma a puzzle piece, but Mommy said she can't do puzzle since she doesn't have thumbs...  I got in the floor beside Gemma, started petting her gently, and said, "It's alright Gemma...  It's okay."
