Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • We had to drop off Daddy this morning, so we didn't have time for donuts this morning.  I was sad.  Maybe tomorrow will be Donut Saturday instead of Donut Friday.
  • I had fun at Ms. Cheri's, but coughed quite a bit and was happy when Mommy got there to pick me up.
  • I went to Mommy's school for a few minutes while Daddy was loading up a lot of Mommy's things.  I was very excited to see Jefferson, the turtle, and got extremely excited when Mommy said he was coming home with us.  After a few minutes there, I went home with Daddy while Mommy stayed at school for the dance for her students.
  • I coughed more on the way home and home.  It is amazing what a little Tylenol and Albuterol will do to make me feel better.  I went from laying around to running around riding my scooter and wanting to feed Jefferson and the fish.  Mommy hopes that the medicine keeps me from feeling worse during the night and that I'll be able to sleep.
  • Grandma and Grandpa called to check on me and I just kept talking nonsense to them, making strange sounds and making up my own words.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I was happy to be back at Ms. Cheri's with my friends, Keegan and Payton.  I was also happy to see the cows.
  • I decided the toys at Ms. Cheri's weren't clean enough, so I got paper towels and rubbed them to make them shiny.  Ms. Cheri thought it was cute.
  • When Mommy walked in the door to pick me up, I jumped up and yelled, "Surprise!"  I then said, "Look Mommy, Look!  A robot!" (and pointed to the blocks on the ground... they were in the shape of a robot).
  • On the way home, I waved at a couple of people on motorcycles, but they didn't see me to wave back.  I told Mommy, "Nice driving Mommy" as I have been doing a lot lately.  Mommy thinks it is nice.
  • Once at home, we ate dinner then I played outside with Daddy.  I blew bubbles, played on my playset and ran around the yard.  I also helped Daddy clean up the yard too.  I red a couple of books with Daddy and played with my toys inside too, then had a bath before bed.  What a day!

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I was surprised that I was going to Ms. Sierra's house today instead of Ms. Cheri's house.  At least I still had a new friend to play with.  Her name was Zoe and we had a lot of fun today.
  • When Mommy picked me up I was eating animal crackers... YUM!
  • We ate pizza for dinner and chocolate cake too.
  • I played with my buckets and my scooter.  I also "helped" Mommy clean out the bag she took to Hershey Park yesterday.
  • I hula-hooped outside and helped Daddy sweep a little.
  • We went to Buffalo Wild Wings where I played with the iPad and "helped" Mommy and Daddy with their trivia game.  I must have been a good helper since Mommy won the game.  I got to drive the car game after the trivia game.
  • Daddy had a measuring tape in the car, so he showed me how to use it.  When we got in the house I decided to measure my chair and table.  Mommy measured me and found out that I am 35 inches tall.  She says I am getting too big!

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • Daddy woke me up and although I was initially still very tired, I got a burst of energy while getting ready to go to Ms. Cheri's house.
  • It was weird that Daddy drove us this morning.  I took pictures of school buses on the way near Mommy's school.  Daddy dropped Mommy off at her school then me off at Ms. Cheri's.  Then, he surprised me by picking me up at the end of the day.  He said Mommy had a trip for school today.
  • We ran a few errands including dropping off our recycling, going to the car wash, and stopping by Best Busy on the way home and even got to eat a Frosty... YUM!
  • I wore my roller skates several times this evening.  I love them so much!
  • Mommy got home about an hour before bed time.  I was so happy when she got home that I squealed and jumped up and down.  She bought me the cutest purple shirt from Hershey Park today.  It is purple and has a sparkly Hershey kiss on it.  I hugged it and said, "I want to keep it forever!"  Mommy and I cuddled on the couch a few minutes watching an episode of Phineas and Ferb before bed.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I woke up thinking it was Monday and had to get up early, then found out it was a holiday and could sleep in, so I cuddled with Mommy and Daddy for a while.
  • I had to put some lotion on my legs since they were itchy.  I had to do it myself.
  • We did a lot of work in the yard today.  I helped pull weeds, sweep leaves, held the dustpan for Mommy, put sticks in the yard waste bag, and also found time to blow bubbles, play with the hula hoop, and jump around the yard.  Daddy even inflated Uncle Chris's bounce house for me to play in for a little while.  It was so much fun!
  • Mommy surprised me by taking me to my favorite place for lunch, Chick-fil-a.  I was very happy to play and even made a friend while playing.  I took my ice cream home and ate it on the porch before my nap.
  • I wore my roller skates through the house then watched Mickey Mouse Road Rally while sitting on the couch in my roller skates.
  • I ate a little more ice cream (chocolate and vanilla this time).
  • We called Grandma and Grandpa and I sang them a song (very loudly) that started like a song from the Curious George movie, then I added my own line about a crocodile and just laughed hysterically.  I thought I was so cute!
  • Daddy and I hid under the blanket (it was a tent or fort or something like that).  Silly Mommy couldn't find us.
  • I helped Mommy and Daddy with laundry a little before bed.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I still woke up early on my own this morning.  Mommy and Daddy let me cuddle with them since I was up at 6:00 and I was able to rest for almost another hour until I had enough.  Daddy took me downstairs to eat breakfast and play while Mommy slept in a little longer.
  • Daddy gave me a bath and I loved playing with my letter and numbers that stick to the bathtub.  I love taking baths!
  • I wore a beautiful dress to church today.  It was white with green and purple on it.  I also got to wear my green jacket.  All three of us wore green to church, it was a little embarrassing, but kinda funny.
  • While walking to church, I found a rock that I had to take to Ms. Sierra.
  • I enjoyed playing in the nursery at church today.
  • While in the car after church, Mommy said, guess where you are going after your nap today?  I got a smile on my face and whispered, "Chick-fil-a?" with a happy tone.  Mommy giggled and said, "No, honey, Ms. Sierra's house."  She said Chick-fil-a wasn't even opened today.
  • After lunch, I went home and took a long nap, then went to Ms. Sierra's house and played with her and her family while Mommy and Daddy went out for a date night.  They picked me up and took me home just in time to go to bed.  I was exhausted and fell asleep very quickly.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:
  • Because it was Saturday, I could have slept in, but was wide awake at 6:10.  I normally am way too sleepy when Daddy wakes me up at 6:30 during the week, but today, I was wide awake earlier.  Mommy and Daddy weren't really happy that I was awake so early.
  • We relaxed a little and ate breakfast.
  • Mommy, Daddy, and I went to an auction then to lots of yard sales.  I got some great new things.  I got a new, pink, big girl chair, a Lego table, roller skates, and some new clothes.  I was so excited about all of them!
  • I was so tired from all of the yard sales that I fell asleep in the car.  I napped for quite a while in the car.
  • After we came home, I helped Daddy pull some weeds, played with the hula hoop, and blew bubbles.  Then Mommy and I rested a little on the couch.
  • I played with my new Lego table and sat in my new chair.  I also tried out my new skates and did pretty well.
  • We went to Carol's house for dinner.  There were lots of people there.  I had so many people to play with, even other kids and a beautiful dog.  I had so much fun throwing the ball and having the dog bring it back to me.  I ate hot dogs with dip, chips, and baked beans as well as fruit and brownies.  I had three helpings of fruit.
  • When we got home it was bedtime.  Mommy read me Brown Bear, Brown Bear then I read it back to her.  I did such a great job reading.  She was so proud of me.

May 24, 2013

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • Daddy woke me up a little earlier than normal but I was happy anyway since it was Donut Friday!  I love our donut tradition!
  • Mommy wore a pretty purple shirt with a pink ribbon on it today and seemed a little anxious like she was going to have a busy day.
  • I was a little extra tired and clingy when we got to Ms. Cheri's and wanted to hold on to Mommy instead of being my normal happy and content self.  Ms. Cheri finally talked me into checking on the cows out the back door so Mommy could leave.
  • When Mommy picked me up at the end of the day, she seemed a little more relaxed, but very tired.  We went home to visit Daddy and I found him cooking dinner for us.
  • I couldn't wait to look through the basket of toys Mommy had used for some of her games at school today.  She had bought some frisbees and balls for the games area that she knew I would love to have afterward.  I loved playing with the new toys with Daddy.  Daddy and I also played tag.  I also found my baby doll's binky and played with it, even putting in my mouth for a bit and climbing into my tent (messing up my hair) until Mommy made me take it out.  Mommy says I am so silly!
  • Mommy and I cuddled and relaxed a bit on the couch after playtime.
  • I read my colors book and my numbers book.  I counted the seven butterflies and eight flowers perfectly so Mommy gave me a high five an seemed very excited!
  • I was so excited to look out and see the moon.  I haven't seen it in so long since it has been cloudy and the moon has been hiding.  Mommy and I spent a while looking out my window watching the moon play peek-a-boo with us, going under clouds then peeking out again.  I love the moon.  Mommy gave me a quick science lesson about the where the light of the moon comes from and that it isn't from the moon at all, that it is from the sun.  Mommy is always teaching me new things, that is one of the many reasons I like hanging out with her.
