Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • What a refreshing night's sleep.  When Daddy woke me up at 6:00, I felt great!
  • I relaxed and watched Curious Geoge while eating my cereal bar until time to get ready.
  • I wore my cute plaid shorts/capris... they are too long for shorts but too short for capris.
  • Mommy surprised me by taking me to Dunkin Donuts to get a donut treat on the way to Ms. Cheri's.  That's two Friday's in a row... I hope this is becoming a tradition.  A blueberry cake donut every Friday would be great.  When Mommy got in the turn lane to turn into Dunkin Donuts, I screamed, "YEAH!  DONUTS!"
  • Mommy picked me up from Ms. Cheri's earlier than normal. When we got ready to leave, Keegan carried my things to the car. He is such a gentleman.
  • We spent the evening at Camp Tomahawk. I got to see Uncle Chris and Aunt Candy, my cousins, Shane and Alexis, and a whole bunch of other people. It was all so exciting. There was a big playground and I rode a big wheel, even though I can't quite reach the pedals.  I think it's my own motorcycle and even make motorcycle sounds while riding it.  I got to play with a bunch of other little kids also.  I also enjoyed playing in the grass... laying down in it and even being a cat (crawling in the grass, meowing, and sticking my tongue out).

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I slept much better last night and woke up when Daddy woke me up at 6:00 this morning.
  • Uncle Chris was still here when I woke up, so I ate breakfast with him while we watched George together while Mommy and Daddy got ready for work.  I was happy to see Zeke the dog this morning too.
  • On the way to Ms. Cheri's house, I sang Wheels on the Bus every time we saw a school bus.  Mommy and I both were singing.  It was fun!
  • I decided to pick at some of my scabs on my legs from bug bites and my tumbles.  They bled a little, so Ms. Cheri tried to put a band-aid on my leg and I threw a fit.  I cried and would not go for the band-aid at all.  When Ms. Cheri told Mommy, she wondered what kid doesn't like band-aids?
  • I was a big girl and a big helper when Mommy got to Ms. Cheri's.  I helped to carry my lunch bag to the car and got in the car without any fussing.  Mommy was so proud!
  • Once at home, I helped Daddy with the dishes.  I stood on his foot in order to reach the sink and then once his foot got tired, I used my potty seat to help.  I also grabbed a banana from the counter and peeled it and took a few bites of it all by myself, leaving the peel behind.  Gemma brought her pink mouse downstairs for me to play with her.  She kept meowing until I decided to play.
  • For dinner, we had tortellini and bread.  It was delicious!
  • The rest of the evening was spent relaxing with Daddy, Uncle Chris, and Mommy.  I'm storing up my energy for what sounds like will be a busy weekend.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I woke up screaming at 5:15 this morning, 15 minutes earlier than yesterday and 45 minutes earlier than I had to get up.  I heard Daddy walking on a squeaky board, so I woke up...  Mommy and Daddy were not amused.
  • I went downstairs and had breakfast with Daddy until it was time to get ready.
  • Since I was tired, I decided I wanted to take Bear, Dolly, and Blankie to her house this morning instead of leaving them in bed.  I thought I might need them.  I nearly fell asleep in the car on the way to Ms. Cheri's house.
  • Once at Ms. Cheri's, I got a burst of energy until about 11:00 when I started dozing.  I somehow managed to stay awake through lunch until my normal nap time.  I only slept an hour instead of my normal two hours this afternoon.  Ms. Cheri warned Mommy of this when she picked me up just in case I was extra tired this evening.  Also, Ms. Cheri told Mommy about the scary moment we had today when Dolly was missing.  Luckily we found her... she was hiding in the mailbox toy Ms. Cheri has downstairs.  I was really worried and so was Ms. Cheri.
  • Mommy had to stop at the post office on the way home and I resisted the attempt to be put in the stroller, so Mommy let me wear my bear backpack and walk.  I was a good girl at first, then once I saw the cards and other things to look at, I did not want to stand in line with Mommy.  I had a big meltdown and ended up laying on the floor screaming and crying.  Mommy got upset with me and picked me up and wouldn't let me down until we were back at the car.  She was not happy!
  • Once at home, we visited Daddy, then ate dinner.  I also got to play in the playground.  It was the first time I made it to the top of the playground though I needed just a little bit of help to get up there.  Daddy and a new little friend of mine helped me to the top then I got to play up there.  I climbed back up (with help) several times.  It was so much fun!
  • Once we got home, Uncle Chris was there.  We visited with him and Zeke and then it was time for bed.  I think Mommy and Daddy sent me to bed a little earlier tonight.  I wonder what time I'll wake up tomorrow....

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I woke up screaming at 5:30 this morning, about a half hour before Daddy would have woken me up.  I wouldn't setting down and rest with Mommy, so she and I went downstairs to get a bite to eat while Daddy showered.
  • While getting ready to go to Ms. Cheri's, I had a few meltdowns and was extra whiny.
  • On the way to Ms. Cheri's, I sang "Jesus Loves Me" and then began singing "Happy Birthday."  Mommy loved hearing me sing, especially "Jesus Loves Me."
  • At Ms. Cheri's, I fell asleep and took a half hour morning nap, then I was in a better mood for the rest of the time with her.  I was happy to see Mommy and I was a big helper when Mommy pulled in the driveway by carrying my lunch bag to the car and getting in the car quickly like a big girl.  Mommy was proud!
  • While Mommy was driving home, I asked her to "call grandma!" so she did.  I enjoyed talking to her and almost sang her a song, but then changed my mind.
  • The rest of the evening was spent eating pizza, grapes, a few bites of chocolate cake, peaches, and a few bites of cereal (I can't seem to get full).  I also watched a few episodes of Curious George, laid on Mommy and watched a few Youtube video clips of Elmo, played my musical instruments and my school bus toy, and also a little whining.
  • Mommy thinks it is a combination of a growth spurt and teething (molars are the worst!) that is causing me to be extra cranky.  She hopes this will be out of my system soon....

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • Daddy woke me up at 6:00 this morning and ate muffins for breakfast.... Daddy even gave me a special treat of chocolate milk this morning... YUM!
  • When Daddy changed my diaper this morning, he found a surprise.  Last night at Walmart I took a sticker off of a tomato and stuck it to my belly.  Daddy didn't find it until this morning.  He couldn't stop laughing!
  • I was so excited to go to Ms. Cheri's today.  I enjoyed playing with Keegan and Payton and even took a present for Payton today since I missed her birthday party.
  • I needed my blue rock from Ms. Cheri's house before coming home. I was so excited to see mommy when she arrived to pick me up, but I still didn't want to leave.
  • I had a big dinner of fish sticks, tater tots, green beans, and shells and cheese. Mostly, I just ate the green beans and shells and cheese. Also, I got a lot of it on me.
  • After dinner, we all went to the playground at one of the local schools. There were other little kids for me to play with. I played on a lot of the slides and even raced mommy and daddy. I also tried out the swings, picked flowers, and moved some of the mulch.
  • It seems like I can't get enough to eat. I'm always snacking on something. Today, I had grapes before dinner, and then I have cheese and crackers after playing at the playground. Mommy said that even though I eat a lot, she may have to buy whole milk to fatten me up a little.  I've also been getting more cranky in the evenings, having a few meltdowns here and there when I'm not getting exactly what I want when I want it, but that's all a part of growing up.
  • I like adding the word "too" to statements.  For example, "I'm ready, TOO!" or "I'm hungry, TOO!"  I also like singing "happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you" so I should be ready for my birthday party in a few weeks.
