Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I slept until about 7:30 this morning.  Daddy and I ate breakfast and watched Curious George (our morning routine).
  • I wore a beautiful butterfly dress to church this morning.  I wanted to wear my tan shoes, but Mommy and Daddy said they didn't match and had me change into my pink sandals after a little convincing.  Since it was chilly, I wore a long-sleeved shirt under my dress, though it only lasted an hour or so before it had to be removed due to an accident.  Luckily the temperature outside warmed up enough that I didn't get too cold.
  • I took my lifejacket to church today since it was needed as part of the morning meeting.  Ms. Linda was teaching about how Jesus is our lifejacket.  I was hoping to go swimming, but church was okay too.  There were lots of kids in the nursery so I had lots of friends to play with.  It was fun!
  • After the meeting, I sang into the microphone.  I tried eating the microphone while singing, but it didn't taste very good.  Mommy says I have a beautiful voice!
  • After church, Daddy took us to Five Guys for lunch.  We ate outside since the weather was so nice.  I was mostly interested in the number stickers that were on the wrappers of our sandwiches and tried to "paint" with a fry that had been dipped in ketchup "dip."  Several birds flew over as we were eating, so I waved at them.
  • I fought sleep all the way home in the car, but for some reason Mommy and Daddy were trying to keep me awake.  Once we got home, Daddy put me in our bed to take a nap but I didn't want to sleep anymore.  Finally, I fell asleep and slept for about two hours.
  • It rained while I was napping and rained off and on the rest of the evening, so I stayed in my pjs and had a lazy afternoon and evening.
  • Mommy fixed stir-fry with ramen noodles for dinner.  The noodles were so much fun.  I played with them more than I ate them since Daddy didn't cut them for me.
  • I picked up the Wii balance board and set it in the floor, then grabbed a Wiimote and stood on top of the board like Daddy does.  I started marching in place and dancing around waving my arms.  It's a shame Daddy was watching Star Trek instead of letting me actually play Wiifit.
  • After a shower/bath, I ate an entire bowl of grapes then was ready to wind down and get ready for bed after another episode of George.
  • When we went upstairs to get ready for bed.  Daddy and I hid from Mommy under the covers.  She couldn't find us.  I kept laughing when she did find us.  It was so much fun!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I slept until about 7:00 this morning, then decided someone had to get up with me.  Daddy volunteered to take me downstairs to play so Mommy could sleep a little longer.  We ate breakfast, played with toys, and watched Curious George. Mostly, though, we read books... LOTS of books!
  • After Mommy finally got up, she took me to Ms. Sierra's house to play for a little while.  I had a lot of fun playing with the girls while Mommy and Daddy watched the WVU football game with friends.
  • Daddy picked me up from Ms. Sierra's and he stopped and got a Wendy's frosty on the way.  I said "MINE!" when he put it in the car.  When Mommy opened the door for me to come in, I had my tongue down in the top of the cup trying to lick the Frosty.  YUM!
  • I rode on my bus a little while and drank Mommy and Daddy's drinks and played with some other toys.  Mr. Robert from down the street stopped by with a little kitten.  He found it in the yard and was asking if it was ours.  I got to pet it and didn't understand why it had to go.  It was so cute!
  • It was a long day so I didn't fight going to sleep very much.
  • Looking forward to church tomorrow!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • Daddy woke me up at about 6:10 this morning.  I enjoyed eating breakfast with Daddy while watching George.
  • Mommy surprised me, well not really since it's Friday, by taking me to Dunkin' Donuts for a donut.  On the way to Ms. Cheri's house I explained to Mommy that I had to wait until we got to Ms. Cheri's house to eat it and only after we went downstairs at her house.  Mommy guessed that it has become a routine for me.
  • As soon as we got to Ms. Cheri's, I sat down on my pillow and looked toward her television and said, "Watch George on there," so Ms. Cheri did turn on the tv and found something for me to watch, though I was a little disappointed that she can't watch George whenever she wants to like we can at home.
  • When Mommy picked me up, I wanted to pick the "flowers" (dandelion seed fluffiness) then blow them all over the yard.  Mommy finally picked me up and carried me to the car so we could go home and see Daddy.
  • After picking up Daddy and eating a quick bite of dinner, we went home to rest for about an hour before heading to the football game.  It was the homecoming game- Martinsburg vs. Hedgesville.  Mommy saw lots of kids and adults she knew on the Hedgesville side (I even saw Keegan and gave him a huge hug) and Daddy saw lots of kids he knew on the Martinsburg side.  So many of Mommy and Daddy's former and current students said I was really cute.  We even ran into Mr. Kevin, Ms. Chrissy, Natasha, Ms. Arden.  I rode in the stroller some, Daddy and Mommy held me a little, but I mostly wanted to run.  My favorite part was the band... when they played I said, "Dancing!" and I waved my arms and swayed.  It was great!
  • It was a great day!

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • A big loud bang woke me up at 3:30 in the morning.  It was so scary!  It woke Mommy and Daddy up too!  They let me spend the rest of the night in bed with them cuddling since we were all scared of the thunder.
  • I got up for the day at about 5:45 this morning.  Daddy fixed me breakfast and I relaxed while watching George until it was time to get dressed to go to Ms. Cheri's.  I kept having meltdowns, laying back in the floor instead of putting my jacket on because I was so tired.
  • Once we got to Ms. Cheri's, I immediately started playing with the toys.  Mommy was afraid I would be extra clingy since I was so tired, but I was distracted with the toys until Mommy was walking out the door.  I saw her walking out and stopped and looked at her, but instead of fussing, I looked at Ms. Cheri and said, "See bunnies?" so we went on the porch to check on the bunnies out back.
  • When Mommy picked me up, I almost ran into the kitty so I said "excuse me" to him.  Ms. Cheri said I am so polite to the kitties and to Payton and Keegan when I say "excuse me" or "Thank you VERY much!"  Mommy seemed very proud when Ms. Cheri told her that.
  • When we got home, Daddy was cooking dinner, so I decided I should do the dishes while he was cooking.  I wiped the plates and ran them under the water, then put them back in the sink of water.  Once I found a couple of pieces of silverware in the sink, so I decided to use them as drumsticks on the edge of sink.  I drummed a little while, then looked at Mommy and said "DRUMSTICKS" then smiled really big.
  • We at spaghetti for dinner, one of my absolute favorite meals.  It was so yummy that I had to ask for more, though Mommy and Daddy wondering if I had eaten any since I had so much on my face, belly and even in my pants!  I did say "Yummy in my tummy!"
  • I had a fun evening playing with my toys and watching a little bit of my shows (Curious George and Martha Speaks) on television.
  • We had a guest stay with us tonight, so I got to stay awake a little later than normal.
  • Once in bed, after saying our bible verses and prayer time, I was in bed and started singing "Twinkle, Twinkle" to Mommy.  In the middle of the song, I stopped singing and farted two times real loud.  Mommy had a hard time not laughing at me and made me say "excuse me."
  • It was a good day!

Mommy had to take a picture of my beautiful hair
since it is getting so long.  She loves my little curls!
Now if I would only leave hair ties and barrettes in it...

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day

  • I woke up before 3:00 this morning.  Mommy came in for a few minutes and I settled down until after she left and then I got upset again.  After Daddy sat with me for a few minutes I was back asleep and slept soundly until he made me get up to get ready for the day.
  • I wore a shirt with a butterfly on it.  I was so excited about the pink butterfly that I had to point it out to Mommy and Ms. Cheri.
  • I was clingy once again, but Mommy finally made it out of Ms. Cheri's this morning when I was distracted.
  • I was clapping like crazy and squirming on the porch when Mommy pulled in to Ms. Cheri's driveway.  I was so happy to see her.  I had my puppy dog toy with me on the porch.  Ms. Cheri said that I was attached to him most of the day today and yesterday as well.  I had to stop to pick up a couple of rocks on the way to Mommy's car.  I even borrowed the big blue rock to go for a ride with me in the car.  I'll return it tomorrow.
  • When we arrived at home, Daddy nearly had dinner ready so we enjoyed tortellini, bread, and strawberries... YUM!
  • Daddy had to go see the neighbors and then when he got back, Mommy had to run to the store.  I really don't like when either one of them leave.  It makes me sad!
  • Mommy, Carol, and I went for a walk through the park and we happened to run into Chase and his Mommy.  Chase and I played, ran around and went down the slides, while the adults were talking.  Occasionally, Mommy would have to stop talking to chase me down as I ran away, but I was having too much fun.  I found some cool red leaves while we were playing and was real excited about them.  I even gave a couple of them to Carol.  I also enjoyed standing in the "tunnel" at the park, especially after Mommy had me make sounds and listen to what she called the acoustics in there.  Everything was louder and sounded like it had a little bit of an echo.  It was fun!  When it was time for Chase to leave, his Mommy asked him to blow me a kiss.  He decided blowing me a kiss was not good enough, so he leaned in and kissed me on the cheek.   Daddy was not amused when Mommy told him that I had been kissed by a boy!   While finishing our walk, Mommy told Carol that I was very dramatic.  She asked me if I was a drama queen and I immediately said, "YES!"  Mommy wished she had a better camera at the park.  Since it was getting dark and I was moving around so fast, she didn't really get any good pictures.  Boo!
  • Mommy stopped to get us a milkshake on the way home to share...  After our milkshake, an episode of Curious George and medicine, it was time for bed.  What a long and busy day!
  • Lately, I have been saying "Thanks, please" or today it was "Thank you very much, Mommy."  I'm very polite!  I also can say my ABCs if Mommy leads me off with A-G, I can finish it correctly.  If she doesn't help me get started, I say, "A, B, C, D, Y, Z, W, X, Y, Z."
