Memories from Today:

Woke up and go packed and ready to leave family camp.  It was a great weekend and I really wanted to stay a little longer,  but I was also excited to come home.  I climbed "elephant  rock" today.   All by myself!!!  I was more than a little proud of myself,  especially since most of my friends needed help.  As we left camp, Daddy and I saw a deer this morning.   It was beautiful!

I enjoyed a nice nap in the truck on the way home.   Camp is exhausting!

I entertained Mommy (and Mrs. Clark via text) at her school a little while then got to come home to see my neighbor friends... I think they have really missed me!

Mommy fixed yummy lasagna and rolls for dinner!  I even had a second helping!  We also had ice cream at home which gave Mommy and I just enough energy to play hide and seek while Daddy napped on the couch.

Alyson's Exciting Adventures

·I keep waking daddy up in the middle of the night to go potty. The girl's bathroom is not close to our cabin, so daddy takes to the boy's bathroom. It is still halfway down the hill.

·VBS was a little better today. What I like more is just playing with my friends. I got to swim and practice going underwater some more. I also walked into theriver but it was too cold for swimming.

·This evening, I made a bubble blower while daddy played volleyball. The campers won for the second year in a row. My foot is sore from being wet so much, so daddy carried me to campfire and then back to the basketball court to watch Big Hero 6 under the stars. I shared my blanket with one of my friends.

·I told daddy I wish we could stay another full day and go home on Tuesday.

Alyson's Exciting Adventures

·Woke up this morning and went to breakfast. I was happy to eat a bowl of cereal, but I was happier too play with Alexis afterwards.

·I had VBS this morning. I didn't like it very much.

·After lunch, daddy and I went swimming. I showed him how good I could swim underwater. We also practiced jumping in and diving underwater to retrieve toys.

·We went to the top of Elephant rock after dinner and played on the challenge course. Then, we played water games in the field. I got soaked.

·We finished out the night with Smores after campfire. I got to roast my own marshmallows.

Alyson's Exciting Adventures

·Woke up this morning and asked daddy what time is was. He asked me to let him sleep another twenty minutes. Then, when he tried to wake me up, I laid in bed another 40 minutes. When I got up, I started packing for camp.

·It took daddy and I forever to get to camp. Luckily I slept along the way. We got here in time to put our things in the cabin and then eat dinner.

·After dinner, we had vespers, and then a carnival. I kept trying to bob for apples. It was so much fun. I also rode around pin my scooter and played in the rain. We finished the evening with campfire.

Memories from Today:

Woke up, packed my things, and said goodbye to camp. Daddy met me at the church and took me to get some breakfast. I was so excited to tell him all that I had done at camp, especially swimming under water!

I ran to find Mommy when I got home and told her all about camp too.  I told her new jokes,  showed her a new game, showed her my crafts, and my new tshirt! 

We rested much of the day at home, getting ready for the next camp. We video-called grandma and grandpa which was fun and silly!  I spent lots of time cuddling with and playing with my kitten.  I have sure missed her!

Mommy surprised me by taking me to see The Emoji Movie.   It was so funny!  I loved it!  After dinner at home,  we got DQ Blizzards since it was Miracle treat day!  Yum!!!

Memories from Today:

My last full day at camp!  We did some trust exercises today and I even made a promise to Jesus.  I even posed for a picture with my 1st year leader, Lt. Christmas Hargrove.  She has been great!

We had our campfire program tonight.   I was surprised to see Mommy and Daddy there.  I gave them my cranky face every time they looked over at me during the program and especially when I saw Mommy taking pictures.  All of the 1st years (including me) sang "Read Your Bible Pray Every Day" during the program.  We also got our first feather.

I come home from camp tomorrow morning then leave Friday for another camp.  Summers are so busy!

Another day at camp with friends...  singing and dancing, having a scavenger hunt, and the gummy bear song.  With S'mores at the campfire!  What a great day!

Memories from Today:

Another day at camp!  Today I participated in camp beautification, pkayed games in Bible class, and learned to weave baskets in Indian class.  I also enjoyed night swim time and vespers.  It was such a fun day!  (Thanks to Ms.Tracey for the pictures and updates!)
