November 30, 2017

Memories from Today:

Another tired and cranky morning!  Since I was not being overly cooperative, Mommy went to work and left me at home with Daddy.  He dropped me off just a few minutes later than normal which was still early for school.

We had art class today!  We had to make a window seasonal view and could pick day or night.  I told Mommy that I picked night and winter...  I even had a snowman and the "lines" (panes) from the windows.

Mrs. Clark let Lily and I play at the playground after school since my Mommy and Lily's Mommy had after school meetings.  Mrs Clark dropped both of us girls off at Mommy's school.  Mommy doesn't know what she would do without Mrs. Clark!

Daddy dropped by Mommy's school to pick me up since Mommy had to go to a meeting.  Daddy and I went to dinner with some of his friends from the theater.  It was a fundraiser dinner and Uno's and I ate an entire helping of spaghetti.  Daddy got to chat with his friends and I got to play the games on the tablet that was at the table.

Daddy and I got home just in time for a game of Uno (after eating at Uno's!) before bed.

Tomorrow is Friday!  I can't wait for "sleep in day!"

Memories from Today:

I woke up super tired and very cranky this morning. I didn't get dressed while mommy showered like I was supposed to and then growled at Mommy a few times while she was rushing me to finish getting ready.

School was great. I had music class today. The canned food drive is still happening for the rest of the week. I sure hope my class wins the pizza party.

After school, I read a book to some of Mrs. Clark's kids that were waiting for the bus. I was so into reading that I didn't even realize all the kids have gotten up and left to go to their bus. I was reading the book to myself.

I have a little meltdown at Sheetz after school today. I made a mistake and upset Mommy which caused me to cry. By the time we got home I had apologized to Mom and we were better.

After dinner, I helped Mommy make some cookies to take to church. They were still warm when we took them and Mommy was surprised that there were none left after us girls got ahold of them.

After church, I helped Mommy review a VR picture that she has been working on editing. It was a picture she took in New York and I was excited to see the Statue of Liberty and some of the Manhattan skyscrapers. Mommy likes then I get excited about these things.

Memories from Today:

Woke up about a half hour before we were supposed to get up.  I was yelling for Mommy.  I had a bad dream and was scared.  Mommy let me cuddle with her the last few minutes before we started getting ready.

I got dressed in my purple BB-8 shirt and leggings, brushed hair and teeth and was ready for school.

School was great!  I especially liked playing outside with my friends at recess.  When Mommy picked me up, I was on the playground with Mrs. Clark.  She thought we should enjoy the beautiful weather!

After a little time at Mommy's school, we headed home where Mommy fixed white sauce and pasta for dinner.  I made the crescent rolls all by myself.  I was very proud!

After eating dinner very quickly, Mommy and I went to church for youth night.  We practiced our Christmas play (at least the beginning).  Mommy even got to watch a practice performance of the very beginning of the script and first song. She loved it!  It's an Emoji Christmas play and our first song is "Go Tell it on Twitter" (to the tune of "Go Tell it on the Mountain").

Mommy, Daddy, and I played a quick game of War (Daddy won!) and we ate a piece of pumpkin pie (YUM!).

Memories from Today:

Back to school!  I was so excited to take my box of canned food today.  I really hope my class wins the contest so we can get a pizza party!  School was fun, but it is hard getting back into the routine.

Mommy picked me up from school then we ran a few errands.  We went to Martin's and bought a few groceries.  We even got a few more cans of food for me to take to school tomorrow.  I told Mommy that Mrs. Clark only had one can, so I asked Mommy if it would be okay if I gave her one of my cans.  Mommy said sure.  I loved shopping at Martin's since I got to push my own little cart and I got a new cereal, Cinnamon Vanilla Lucky Charms... YUM!  We also got a movie out of Redbox before leaving the store.  Mommy had a code that made the movie 15 cents!!!

At home, Mommy and I ate dinner and watched our movie while Daddy went to his meeting.  The movie, was great!  After the movie, Mommy and I played two games of Uno and one game of War.  It was fun!

Memories from Today:

Woke up early enough on my own to go to church early with Daddy.  I picked out a beautiful red dress to wear.  Mommy tried to talk me out of wearing such a beautiful dress, hoping I would save it for Christmas, but I was determined to wear it.  My black boots didn't fit, so I decided to wear my brown cowboy boots instead!

I said goodbye to Grandma since she had to head home.  I was sad to see her go, but know I will see her in the next month.

Church was fun.  I even got to collect the offering!  After church, all of the girls went to Berkeley Plaza to see the movie, The Star.  It was so funny!  I even got to snack on popcorn and Skittles.  Mommy offered to come with me, but I told her I just wanted to go with the girls from church.  I got to sit with Tori, so I was happy!

Once I got home, we spent the afternoon playing my new Harry Potter Lego Wii game.  I taught Mommy how to play, but she said I was a little bossy and seemed to get a little frustrated with me.  After she left to go grocery shopping, Daddy and I played the game, starting where we had left off before.  It was fun!

After dinner, I shared a Carlos Bakery cupcake with Mommy.  YUM!  After a shower, it was time for bed.

Back to school tomorrow.  I have my canned food packed and ready to donate tomorrow!

Alyson's Exciting Day
·Woke daddy up around 8:30 this morning. He made me a bowl of cereal and I spent the morning watching cartoons and playing Scooby Doo with daddy.
·We went shopping around noon. Daddy bought me a DVD player, the Book of Life, and a nunchuck controller for the Wii. He has really spoiled me these past couple of days.
·I helped daddy hang a television in my room, and then I watched the Book of Life. I had seen it before, but it is such a good movie.
·Daddy and I played Lego Harry Potter until mommy came home. I was so excited to see her and grandma. I had to show them everything new that daddy got me. Then I looked at all of mommy's pictures. I didn't get to bed until almost midnight.

Alyson's Exciting Day
·Daddy woke me up this morning and told me to get dressed. He said that he had a busy day planned.
·I had an Apple Pie for breakfast on the way to Hagerstown. Daddy and I stopped to pick up a level, and he bought clamps for me to use on my forts. Then we went to measure a building. I helped daddy by holding one end of the measuring tape.
·Next, we met one of his friends to go through a storage building. Daddy was super excited about the sound and lighting equipment. I got to explore a little, but got bored and started to jump rope.
·Our next stop was lunch with another one of daddy's friends. She was running late so we went shopping. I talked daddy into buying a few Wii games. Then we visited the music store and I talked daddy into buying me a recorder. I played it in the car on the way from Hagerstown. We ate lunch at Panera.
·We came home and I played with my neighbors. We played on my swing set and then played hide and go seek. Then daddy told me it was time for another meeting. We drove to the theater and watch Coco with Gabriel and his family. Daddy and I really enjoyed it and there was a pretty long Frozen short before it.
·Daddy had one more meeting in Hagerstown. I played on his phone while they talked. I even beat daddy's record on a game. Then we grabbed a pizza on the way home and played a video game before bed.
· Daddy said I can sleep in tomorrow!

Alyson's Exciting Day
·Woke up early this morning and ate some cereal. I was ready for lunch around 10:30. I watched t.v. and played Super Mario while dad cleaned.
·We went to Golden Corral for Thanksgiving lunch. I didn't eat anything Thanksgiving related. Afterwards, daddy took me to the park for a little while. There weren't any kids for me to play with.
·We ate spaghetti for dinner. Daddy and I love pasta. We finished the evening with a couple of games of Uno.

Alyson's Adventures
·Woke up around 8:30 this morning an immediately ate a bowl of cereal. I hung out with grandma and watched some t.v. before her and mommy left for New York.
·At 10:30, I told daddy that I was ready for lunch. I ate leftover zitifrom last night. I loved it, but didn't like the bread.
· I spent the rest of the morning on the couch watching Ever After High while daddy cleaned up the back yard. Then my friend from the end of the block came over. We rode scooters, drew with chalk, and played on my playset. I even talked daddy into making us some hot chocolate.
· We went shopping for a few things this evening and grabbed dinner from Panda. I ate all of mine, then ate a cake in a cup.

Memories from Today:

Another day where I woke up feeling better!  And the best news...  today was Tuesday-Friday!  It was a Tuesday that was our last day of school for the week!  I had a great day at school!  We had our grandparents program.  I got to sing for some visitors to the school.  I was a little disappointed that Grandma and Grandpa couldn't be there, but I made them a card anyway.  I thought of Grandma during the program when there was a poem about always being polite...  It sounded like something she would say!  I spent recess time with Mrs. Clark again instead of going outside, just to make sure I continued getting healthier.  After school, I left with a big bag of popcorn, orange scones, and cookies...  and even extra pine cones that Mrs.Clark had used for a craft.  I told Mommy as we left school that Mrs. Clark was the best teacher ever!

I fell asleep in the car on the way home from school.  Mommy let me sleep for about half an hour before waking me up to go inside.  I napped a little longer inside the house on the couch while waiting for Grandma to arrive.  After she got to the house, I showed her my Grandparents card, my interim report (As, Os, and one S), and my "R2-D2 turkey" that I made at school.

Grandma, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Brother's Pizza for dinner.  I ate spaghetti and meatballs and a little of Grandma's ziti pasta.  I delivered all of the trivia papers and even got to answer a few of the questions on my own.  It was awesome!  I even took a picture of my plate after I ate.  I told Mommy as I took the picture, "I want to make sure I order this again next time."

I'm a little sad that Mommy and Grandma are going to New York tomorrow.  I wish I could go with them!  I told Mommy before bedtime, "I can't believe tomorrow you'll be in New York!  That's where the Statue of Liberty is, right?"  "Wouldn't it be silly for someone to live in the Statue of Liberty?"  "You would wake up and look out your window and see the head of the Statue of Liberty!"

Note from Mommy:  Daddy will be on "blog duty" for the next few days...  be patient with him!  :)

November 20, 2017

Memories from Today:

I woke up this morning determined to go to school. I was still coughing a bit and my nose was a little snotty, but I proudly said that I felt better and was wanting to go to school.

I think Mrs. Clark was excited to see me. I think she missed me while I was gone last week. Since I wasn't quite feeling up for recess outside, I got to hang out in Mrs. Clark's room and help her teach her kindergarten class. I read them their journal and showed them what to draw using the Elmo.

After school, I felt even better. I couldn't wait to get home and play. After dinner, Daddy helped me build a fort. Mommy sat in the doorway of the fort for a little bit. She thought it was creative that I had my car going around the track lighting up the fort. Apple-tini really liked the fort.

I can't wait to see Grandma tomorrow!

November 19, 2017

Memories from Today:

Other than a bad coughing spell in the middle of the night, I woke up ready and wanting to go to church this morning.  My cough sounded better and seemed to just be a normal asthma-ish cough, so after a dose of my inhaler, I was off and ready to go.

I coughed off and on and church, but was wanting to play with the kids.  I had much more energy and seemed to be feeling better, but was hindered a little by the coughing.  I'm just glad I got to go see my friends and eat some of the yummy Thanksgiving dinner there.  The mashed potatoes were my favorite!  I still didn't eat a lot, but at least ate some.

Mommy stopped on the way home to get a movie from Redbox for us to watch.  We watched that movie and then went to Michaels to get some craft items.  I had a craft planned and kept telling Mommy what I needed but not what the craft was.  I needed white glitter, several different puffy Christmas stickers, and plastic clear ornaments.  When we got home Mommy realized that I was wanting to make ornaments that were like snow globes, with water and glitter (snow).  Little did I know that the ornaments don't seal at the top and that they wouldn't work.  Mommy showed me another option that didn't involve water or glitter.  I was super excited to see the first snow flakes of the year while we were headed home from our craft shopping.  I think Mommy might have been just as excited as me.

After a shower and a little relaxing with Mommy and Daddy, it was bedtime.  I'm hoping for a restful night and being healthy enough for school tomorrow!

November 18, 2017

Memories from Today:

Woke up this morning still in bed with Mommy.  I guess Daddy decided not to move me when he came home from the play.  I went downstairs to get a drink of water then came back to bed for a little more rest.  I didn't wake back up until after 10:30!  I guess I needed the rest!  Once I got out of bed, I wanted to video-chat with Grandma.  We caught her and Grandpa on their way to go out and watch the WVU football game.  We had fun with all of the Facebook video filters and were super silly!

Mommy and I spent the entire day at home in our PJs.  We watched a few movies, downloaded a couple of new iPad apps, and cuddled with the pets.  It was a nice and relaxing day to help me get healthy again!  I am feeling much better and hope I'm well enough to go to church tomorrow morning... especially since it is our Thanksgiving dinner after the service.

November 17, 2017

Memories from Today:

Woke up telling Mommy that I really wanted to try to go to school today.  I felt a little better, but not 100%.  Daddy let me rest a bit more then took me to school.  I turned in my math homework and crazy disguised turkey.  I made it through lunch before the school nurse called Mommy to come get me.

On the way home, I fell asleep in the car.  At home, I rested, was forced to drink water, and was given some medicine.  All of the animals seemed worried about me.  They took turns cuddling with me on the couch and checking on me.

Daddy had his play this evening, so Mommy and I cuddled on the couch.  I started feeling better later this evening.  I even asked for a little popcorn to eat while we watched a movie, Hotel for Dogs, on Netflix.  It was a great movie and I managed to eat several pieces of popcorn.  I also ate a couple small bites of the cinnamon scone Mrs. Clark brought me this morning.  I shared a small bite with Mommy and told her, "Mrs. Clark is the nicest teacher ever!"

I fell asleep in Mommy's bed.  I don't think she minded one bit even though Daddy might.

November 16, 2017

Memories from Today:

Woke up coughing in the middle of the night and complained of a sore throat.  Daddy gave me some medicine and then I fell back asleep.  I woke up on my own this morning, still not feeling well.  Mommy and Daddy had already decided that I wasn't going to school and that I would spend the day at home with Daddy while Mommy went to work.

I spent nearly all day on the couch, alternating between sleeping and watching a bit of tv.  I did begin working on my stained glass sticker project that I had been given as a gift.  It was great, but I got tired very quickly while working on it.

Once Mommy got home from work, Daddy had to leave to go to a meeting.  Mommy cuddled with me a little bit and relaxed on the couch.  I watched a little more television, kinda zoning out.  I finally had a little more energy and decided that Mommy and I should play Clue.  I wasn't quite as focused as normal, but still did alright playing.  I also completed my turkey disguise project for school, hoping I'll feel well enough to go tomorrow.  I decided to make my turkey look like "Santa."

I didn't really eat hardly anything all day and drank very little.  I was feeling better with some pain meds in me.  Mommy's hoping I feel better tomorrow!  She thinks I might just have a touch of the cold/sinus issue she had over the past couple of weeks. I guess time will tell...

November 15, 2017

Memories from Today:

Picked out a mismatched outfit for today...  a gray shirt with a floral heart and black leggings with gold unicorns.  It was very "me."

Mr. Clark had me helping to create Indian hats for her class for tomorrow's school-wide thanksgiving feast.  Lily helped too!  We have so much fun in the mornings together, just us girls!

After school, Daddy picked me up since Mommy had a late meeting.  It wasn't long after we got home that Mommy got home too.  I was very excited for her to be home!  Daddy cooked dinner for us. It was delicious!  I ate quite a bit.

Church was fun!  The adults had bible study and the women's meeting while us kids played in the other room.  I had brought Clue from home, but we never finished a game... I think they didn't quite understand how the game works.  I also brought my remote control car for us to play with.

Back at home, it was time to get ready for bed.  I've been coughing a little bit and complained that my throat hurt "medium."  Hopefully I get a good night's sleep and feel better tomorrow!

November 14, 2017

Memories from Today:

Got dressed and ready a little slower this morning.  It was kinda strange riding to school with Mommy and Daddy this morning.

School was great!  We found out that our class won the recent computer competition for 1st grade, so we will get some extra free choice computer time real soon!

Mommy picked me up and when she got there, she found Mrs. Clark and I rolling a ball up and down the hall.  It looked almost like we were bowling.  I had chosen the snowman, light-up, bouncy ball with my behavior tickets.  I think Mrs. Clark really liked it a lot!

I spent some time with Mommy after school.  While she did some work, I used some of her raffle tickets to have my very own "raffle."  Mommy got tickets and Daddy was going to get some tickets when he got to Mommy's school, but he told me he didn't want any.  Mommy and I were the only ones with tickets.  I drew several raffle numbers and I ended up winning the prize bag that I had made.

Daddy took Mommy and I to dinner then we came home and relaxed a bit.  We did play a family game of Clue (Mommy won again!) and then I read Mommy one of my new books, My Cute Kitten, from the book fair.  Mommy only had to help me with a couple of big words, other than that I read the book myself.  She is amazed at how well I am reading!

November 13, 2017

Memories from Today:

Woke up and Daddy helped me get ready for school since Mommy had already left for the day.  I didn't like the shirt Mommy had left for me, so I chose a different one.  Daddy took me to Mrs. Clark and then went to work.

Mrs. Clark told me all about her recent trip to the beach and brought me a bucket of shells.  I can't wait to make something with the shells!  I might even surprise Mrs. Clark with a special gift sometime between now and Christmas... I came up with a great idea!

Daddy picked me up from school since Mommy wasn't back from her meeting in Morgantown.  I ran a few errands with Daddy and then assisted as he worked on his truck.  We were working on the truck when Mommy got back in town.  Mommy and I left to eat dinner and I even got a little inside play time at Chick-fil-A before returning to help Daddy some more.  It was a long night and we were all super tired!

I amused Mommy and Daddy with a few jokes...

  • "What did the janitor say when he jumped out of the closet?"     ~"SUPPLIES!"
  • "Why didn't the skeleton go to the dance?"       ~"Because he didn't have NO BODY to go with him."
Mommy loves that I love jokes so much and I, of course, think I'm hilarious!!!

November 12, 2017

Memories from Today:

Woke up, got dressed, and ready for church.  I got to play with my friends and even got to help take up the offering.

After lunch, we came home and Mommy and Daddy napped.  I watched a little television.  I decided to become inventive.  I took my remote control car and taped the broom to the top of it so it would "sweep."  The only issue was that it was too heavy that the car wouldn't move.  So, I decided to tape the dustpan on the car so it would "shovel" its way around.  I also took a cardboard box and made a chair/couch out of it.

After my shower and bedtime snack, Mommy and Daddy and I played Clue together.  Mommy won! Daddy says she cheated, but she said he was just being a sore loser.  We had lots of fun and Apple-tini even tried "helping."  By helping, I mean she jumped on the game board and started pushing around the weapons and tokens.

Back to school tomorrow!  I can't wait!  Maybe Mrs. Clark will bring me that whale that she sent a picture of from her beach trip!  She said she knew I loved animals and thought I might want her to bring it to me!  Mommy said she didn't think it would fit in her car.

November 11, 2017

Memories from Today:

Felt like it should have been Sunday when I woke up since we had all day at home yesterday, but it was just Saturday!  Daddy did a little work and we let Mommy sleep in a bit.

After Mommy woke up, we spent some time going through my clothes drawers and sorting out clothes that no longer fit.  This was very much needed since I keep growing so quickly and am growing right out of my clothes.  I decided that it was necessary to keep tally marks of how many clothes still fit and how many don't fit.  It ended up being about half and half.  I enjoyed trying some of the clothes on to confirm that they did or did not fit.

Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the WVU game.  Daddy was upset since it wasn't playing on the tv for the first while we were there due to another game that was running over.  Once we finally got to watch a little bit, it was time for Mommy and I to leave to head to a birthday party.

My friend Aiden's party was at the skating rink.  It was awesome!  So many people I knew from school were there!  I skated some, but was still quite nervous.  I enjoyed playing in the bouncy house (until there were too many kids and it got wild).  I also liked being in the play area!  I had a great time but wasn't ready to leave.

Mommy and I did a bit of shopping before heading home.  We even went to Petco (my choice) to look around at the animals.  I even got a few treats at the "treat bar" for the dogs, though I don't understand why there isn't a "treat bar" for cats too!

November 10, 2017

Memories from Today:

Got to sleep in today and it was Friday!!! What a great feeling to have a whole day off from school (and to have Mommy and Daddy home too)!

Spent the first part of the day relaxing, watching a bit of tv and cuddling on the couch.  Mommy and I played a game of Clue (I won!) and then we went to lunch with Daddy!  Mommy and I did some shopping...  I got a new winter coat with gloves, snow boots, and a couple of clothing items. It was fun running around, just me and Mommy!

We came home so I could play with a new toy I bought myself, a small remote control car.  I drove it around and Apple-tini loved chasing it, but she was a little cautious.  I still have to get used to driving it, but think it is so much fun!

After dinner, Mommy and I went shopping again... this time for a birthday gift for a party I am going to tomorrow.  I can't wait to go to the party, especially since it is at a skating rink!

Side note from Mommy:  I forgot to take pictures today, but as luck should have it, I forgot to post Snapchat pictures from yesterday, so here they are:

November 9, 2017

Memories from Today:

Woke up and got dressed in my red, white, and blue for the Veteran's Day program.  I thought my outfit looked great!  Mommy really wishes I would be patient and let her do something to my hair, but no.

I spent some extra time with Mommy at her school this morning since Mrs. Clark took today off of work.  I really missed her!  Mrs. Stutzman stopped by the school by chance and offered to walk me over and let me hang out in her room, but I said no and just clung to Mommy's hip.  I did distract myself this morning by making my own purse and accessories out of paper.  Mommy loved my creativity and imagination!  I made a cell phone, driver's license, and even money for my purse.  Once I got to my school an showed my class and teacher my design, I had others that want me to make them one as well.

Mommy picked me up after school and we came home.  We drove Daddy to Hagerstown, stopping at Cicis Pizza on the way to his practice.  I spent the evening with Ms. Kelly while Daddy had practice and Mommy went to a performance at her school.  I was asleep when she picked me up from Ms. Kelly's.  Daddy had to carry me in and put me straight to bed.  At least we get to sleep in tomorrow since we don't have school!  Yea!

November 8, 2017

Memories from Today:

Couldn't wait to put on my rocker outfit for "dress to impress day."  Mommy forgot to take my picture...  I wore a zebra patterned skirt over shiny gray leggings with a black t-shirt with zebra stars and silver sequins.  I also wore my short boots.  I looked super cute!  I even put a small barrette in my hair before we left the house.

The trip to school was very eventful this morning!  Soon after we got on the interstate, there was a wreck right in front of us.  Mommy almost hit the car that was spinning and traveling across the interstate, but luckily she got our car stopped just in time.  After Mommy called 9-1-1, she had to talk to the other drivers (other than the truck driver that didn't stop) and ended up staying to talk to the police officers.  When she got back to the car, I was crying.  I had gotten scared.  Mommy told me that no one was injured and reminded me that this is why we wear seatbelt.  Everything in our seats had slid to the floor since those things weren't buckled in.  By the time I got to school, I was doing a bit better, though I did become quite the backseat driver for the rest of the day.

Afterschool, Mrs. Clark walked me over to Mommy's school.  I stopped to photograph the mushrooms that are growing in the yard of the school.  I told Mommy that I take great pictures... she agreed!

After a quick Target stop, we came home and ate dinner then headed to church.  I gave out some gifts/prizes to my friends.  Some of the items included rocks that I called "quartz" that I found (and stole) from in front of Mommy's school.

After we got home, Mommy and I began working on a project that we will continue into the weekend.  It was fun!  At bedtime, I brought up the wreck again, asking Mommy more questions and worrying about the lady that was most impacted by the accident.  I was very anxious and asked to fall asleep with Mommy until Daddy got home.  Of course Mommy allowed me to sleep in her room.  Indy even kept my feet warm!

November 7, 2017

Memories from Today:

Today was "decades day" at school as part of college week.  I wore a dress that Mommy said made me look like a hippie.  Mrs. Clark helped me add to my outfit with a headband.  It made it perfect and I even posed for a picture holding up a peace sign.  My computer teacher even took my picture with a group of other students and put it on the school website!

At school, we are continuing to get ready for our Veteran's program which will be later in the week.  We are practicing our songs.  While waiting to be picked up at the end of the day, I read the book, Shampoodle to some of the kindergarten kids.  They think I'm pretty cool since I'm a big 1st grader and I can read!

Daddy picked me up from school since Mommy had a meeting after school.  Daddy and I were both dozing on the couch when Mommy got home.  After dinner, we drove to the church for youth night, but it had been canceled.  I was very disappointed, especially since I had brought supplies for a drawing contest for my friends.  I even had prizes!  Mommy told me to keep it in the car for the kids to do during bible study and the ladies meeting tomorrow night.  Before going home, Mommy and I made a quick stop at Walmart.  Mommy has a craft project for the two of  us to work on between now and next week.  I was more interested in playing another game of Clue than doing crafts when we got home.  Mommy thinks I might be a Clue addict!  I also asked to spend a little bit of time on Mommy's iPad to play an educational game as part of a contest at school for free choice computer time.  Mommy loved watching me practice my math facts on the iPad.

I'm showered and have my clothes all laid out for "dressed to impress" day tomorrow.  My outfit may not be exactly what you would expect, but at least I'll be cute!  and kinda like a rock star!

November 6, 2017

Memories from Today:

Monday morning!  Had a little extra energy this morning... maybe it was the extra hour of sleep over the weekend!  Got dressed and ready rather quickly and even remembered to wear my Mountaineer shirt since today was the first day of College week at my school.  Mommy wore her WVU apparel too since her school celebrates College week as well!

School was super fun!  I got to get some things ready for Veteran's Day.  I painted and even got to make a word cloud about veterans.

After a brief Walmart trip, Mommy and I headed home.  I was surprised to find a package waiting or me when I got home.  I opened the box and was very excited to find the Women of NASA Lego set!  It was so very sweet of Daddy's Mom to think to get this for me!  She must know that I am a bit of a science geek...  just like my Mommy.

Daddy fixed dinner while Mommy and I played Clue.  After dinner, all three of us played another round of Clue.  After Daddy left for rehearsal, Mommy and I relaxed (watched a little television and played Clue).  Mommy thinks I might just love the game (at least a little).

At bedtime, we picked out my outfit for tomorrow, Decades Day.  Mommy is happy that she doesn't have to dress up tomorrow.
