Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • Daddy woke me up and after breakfast, I got to wear my pretty pink princess dress.  I was also excited to wear my new sandals.
  • After I got dressed and ready for church, Mommy told me to find my Easter basket and I found it on my table.  I had pink peeps, books ("MY FAVORITE!"), princess jewelry, and a folded organizer with crayons, paper, stickers, and colored pencils.  I loved it!
  • At church, I got to play.  I even got to hold two eggs during the sunrise service.  The pink one had money in it and the white one was empty.  I was a little disappointed that the white one didn't have anything in it until Mrs. Story told us that it was because it represented the tomb that was empty.  While she explained, I stood there hoping to get the egg back.  After we finished with the eggs, I decided to run up front to play the piano with the praise song.
  • After spending time in the nursery, we had an Easter Egg hunt.  I was so excited to find the eggs, but was a little disappointed that it was inside because of the rain.  I found lots of eggs and ended up with lots of candy and even found one of the prize eggs and got a stuffed duck.
  • At home, we quickly packed then went to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  I was so happy to be going to see them.
  • Once we got there, I was excited to see a large duck and a bag with shoes, headbands, a necklace, lollipop, and gummies from Grandma and Grandpa.
  • After being cute the rest of the evening and entertaining everyone, it was time for bed.  I had a difficult time falling asleep, even said, "I don't want the big girl bed, I want MY bed."  Daddy finally got me to fall asleep (he fell asleep too!).

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I slept until 8:00 this morning.  Daddy got up with me then we went to Dunkin' Donuts to get breakfast since I didn't celebrate Donut Friday yesterday.  We also surprised Mommy with a Chick-fil-a tea when she woke up.  She was so excited!
  • We relaxed a little this morning, then we went to an auction.  I enjoyed looking at every thing that was there.... toys, a toddler bed, and lots of boxes.  I thought it was hilarious that there was a big bed in the yard.  I couldn't quit giggling about it.  We stayed for about an hour then went to lunch.  I ate a few of Mommy's cherry tomatoes... I loved them!
  • Once home, I took a nap then helped Daddy wash dishes.  I love washing dishes!
  • Mommy fixed some pasta for dinner that was so yummy!  I ate three helpings!  The bread was yummy too!
  • I spent the rest of the evening playing (with my cards, wings, drum), climbing the back of the couch, and watching a little television.  I've also been practicing my counting in English and Spanish.  I'm getting better and think I am hot stuff when I count in Spanish.
  • I even climbed on the couch and said it was a school bus.  When Mommy asked if I was the driver or a kid going to school, I said I was the driver and started singing The Wheels on the Bus song.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

  • I got to sleep in a little this morning, but was excited when I woke up and found out that I was going to work with Daddy.
  • Daddy and I walked to school then spent some time with his teacher friends.  Everyone thought I was cute.  I enjoyed climbing the steps and felt like such a big girl in the halls of the high school.
  • After walking back home, I took a long nap and when I woke up, Mommy was home.
  • Daddy seemed a little sad about his truck today.  We said goodbye to it.
  • After running a few errands, we stopped and played at the playground.  I had so much fun climbing, swinging, running, and even collecting rocks.  It was nice to enjoy this beautiful afternoon outside.  While playing, I said, "I have an idea..."  This worried Mommy, so she followed close behind me to see that I was going to climb on the playground.  She was surprised how good I have gotten at climbing the wall and ladder.  I'm a natural!
  • We grabbed a quick bite for dinner...  Mommy was so proud when I followed her lead and dipped my fries in my frosty.  It was delicious!
  • We went to the Good Friday service at church then came home, had a snack of cereal (my favorite!) and went to bed.
  • A few times in the past two days, I have asked Mommy and Daddy for help with various things.  I said, "Help, help, ayúdame, ayúdame!"  They thought I was very cute, however, they also said I was watching too much Diego.
