Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I woke up and relaxed with a Mommy until Daddy finished walking the dogs.
  • When I can put of the room, the only people left in grandma's house was Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, and Grandpa.  Everyone else had already left to go home.
  • I ate waffles, part of a muffin, and part of a Tudor's apple biscuit for breakfast.
  • I stayed on my pajamas all day.  It was wonderful!
  • I ate some left over fruit, specifically the pineapple.  It was so yummy!
  • Aunt Carol stopped by on her way out of town. It was nice to see her before she left.
  • Littles was very playful.  I helped her find just the right toy to play with.
  • I tried using the potty many times today and was successful a few times.  Everyone is so proud of me.
  • Tomorrow we head back home.  I miss my bed, but will miss cuddling with Mommy and Daddy in bed.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I woke up and hung out with Mommy while Daddy walked the dogs.  I ended up falling back asleep with Mommy.
  • Daddy bought us Krispy Kreme donuts for Donut Friday.  It was nice to have hot, fresh donuts.  It was so yummy!
  • The house wasn't very crowded when I woke up but soon after, there was a house full of family.
  • Mommy wanted to show me some clothes that she bought me last night, but I told her, "I don't want to now, I'm too busy."  I was busy playing with Littles.  Finally, when Grandma started looking at the clothes, then I started getting excited about seeing them.
  • Everyone started getting ready and I even got to wear my new pink, white, and black plaid dress.
  • We drove to Hamlin to say goodbye to Popaw.  Everyone seemed sad, so I tried to be extra cute to keep them smiling.  I asked Grandma who covered Popaw since he had an American flag on him.
  • Alice showed up there and I immediately wanted to go back to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see Gracie and Lucy, but had to wait until the preacher was finished first.
  • I fell asleep right before they finished then rode back to Grandma's house with Alice and help her warm up food for everyone to return.
  • Once everyone got back to the house, I changed clothes (into my PJs) then played with my cousins.  I watched The Grinch, played with Littles, and gave everyone bead necklaces to wear around the house.  Andrew and I took silly pictures with his computer so Mommy posted them here since they were so funny.  The whole family looked nice with their beads.
  • At bedtime, I walked around and gave everyone a hug and said goodnight to them.
  • The family thinks I'm so funny and smart.... yesterday, when watching The Macy's parade, I saw pilgrims riding on an inflated turkey.  I told them, "I don't believe it!!!"  They were giggling at me so much.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I woke up and hung out with Mommy while Daddy walked the dogs.
  • Daddy and I ate muffins and watched television while waiting for others to wake up.
  • I watched part of the Macy's Day parade and went to visit Mommy every few minutes to b tell her about the parade and wanting to play in the snow.
  • I had a bowl of cereal with strawberries.
  • After Mommy woke up and Grandma had cooked breakfast, we ate breakfast.  It was my third breakfast.  I ate a biscuit with some jelly and butter and sausage.
  • After breakfast, I went out back and built a snowman.  Mommy called it a snow penguin.  It had a carrot nose and chocolate eyes and Twizzler arms.  There wasn't much snow, but we found enough to use to make a small snow penguin.  I loved it even though Mommy said snowmen were only friends for short amounts of time since they melt.  When Mommy asked me what I wanted to name our snowman penguin, I decided to name it Alyson.
  • I spent most of the day playing with Littles and visiting with the family.
  • I ate a super big dinner and even got to eat three different desserts.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I woke up at 5:30 and it was still dark in my bedroom.  I yelled for Daddy and when he came in, I told him, "I don't have more energy yet."  Daddy took me to his room so I could sleep in between him and Mommy.  We slept until about 7:30 when I got up and had breakfast with Daddy.
  • I had a second breakfast at Waffle House with Carol, Mommy, and Daddy.  I ate half a waffle and some hashbrowns, bacon, and toast with jelly.  I showed my new reindeer hat to Carol and even put my princess sunglasses on too (upside down).  I'm such a silly girl.
  • Once back at home, we rested a few minutes then started packing our things to go.  Mommy and Daddy also searched all over the house for a "special book" to take with them.  I think they made a big mess of the house trying to find it.
  • We left once the car was loaded.  Mommy let me pack as many toys as I wanted to bring in my cow backpack.
  • I was excited that Indy and Littles got to ride beside me in the car.
  • I fell asleep before getting to Hagerstown.
  • I woke up just in time to see lots of snow.  I was super excited to see the snow.  I wanted to get out and play in it.
  • We stopped briefly at Uncle Chris's house.  I immediately reached out and grabbed the snow on the side of the car next to us.  I wanted to play in it, but instead, I went inside to play with Shane and Alexis.  I went upstairs to play with Alexis and Shane played with the dogs.
  • After being on the road again, I was starting to get frustrated.  I told Daddy, "I want to be at Grandma and Grandpa's now...  Is it 2 more miles or 1 mile?"
  • Once we finally made it, Grandma met me at the car.  I was happy to be there.  After saying hello to everyone, I quickly grabbed my shopping cart from my room and brought it into the living room to start handing out food to the family.  I did hug and say hello to everyone.
  • Grandma helped me put on some jewelry and Andrew taught me how to do "Up high, down low, too slow."  I thought it was so funny.
  • I even got to eat a chocolate-covered strawberry after choosing fruit over gummies.  I still got the gummies later though.
  • I tried to use the big girl potty and Grandma and Grandpa were prepared to give me a dollar bill if I was successful, but instead I got part of a chocolate bar for trying.
  • I'm excited to share the bed with Mommy, Daddy, and Littles tonight.  Indy will also be in our room sleeping on the floor.  It will be like a sleepover.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I woke up hoping for snow, but was quite disappointed.  There wasn't anything outside like I had hoped and Mommy and Daddy had to go to work so I had to get up and ready to go to Ms. Cheri's.
  • I got to wear my Hot Chocolate shirt and Daddy even made me my own cup of hot chocolate to take with me to Ms. Cheri's house.  It was so yummy and I felt like such a big girl.
  • Keegan and I played all day and had so much fun.
  • When Mommy picked me up, I was jumping up and down grinning from ear to ear.  I was so excited to tell her that I had pottied in the big girl potty, twice!!!  I had not had a dirty diaper all day!  Mommy was so excited!  She told me if I went all day until bedtime without pottying in my diaper that I would get a big prize.  When I asked her what she would get me, she asked me what I would want.  I said, "a doll or a drum."
  • Daddy and I went to Lowes and I pulled around the cart.  My favorite things to look at were the Christmas decorations.  I especially liked the one that was a house and "Snowda" was playing peek-a-boo out the window of the house.  I loved it!  Daddy bought me a hat, it is like a "Snowda" hat but has reindeer antlers on it.  I look super cute in it.
  • After dinner at home and a little cuddle time on the couch with Mommy and Daddy watching the beginning of Despicable Me, it was time to go to trivia for a bit.  Everyone loves seeing me deliver our team's answers, especially when I'm wearing my new cute hat.  The people running the game even took my picture since I was so cute. My buddy Andrew brought me oranges once again even though he wasn't our waiter.  He must really like me!  Before we left b-dubs, I decided to put Daddy's jacket on all by myself.

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • The morning wake up call came early this morning.  I was tired and cold, so I really didn't want to wake up.  I told Daddy my leg hurt, so he got the lotion for me and it made it all better.
  • I wore a super cute purple shirt with my flowered jeans.  I pointed out my purple shirt to Mommy and told her "it has a button in the back."
  • After much convincing, I decided to finally put my coat on to get in the car.  Mommy had to carry me to the car since it was so cold, luckily Mommy had started the car so it was nice and warm and toasty inside.
  • Once at Ms. Cheri's, I put the pillows out for me and my friends and got comfortable.
  • Keegan and I had fun playing today.  Payton was at her Grandma's so she wasn't there today.  I missed her, but was glad for my friend Keegan.
  • When Mommy picked me up, I was excited to go to her school.  I even made up a song about going to her school, to her office.
  • I was a super big helper, coloring pictures, eating Mommy's snacks, and even watching a little bit of Curious George while Mommy worked in her office for a bit.
  • We made one stop on the way home.  I've gotten to where I am singing more and more and louder and louder along with my current favorite CD, TobyMac's Eye on It.  I love nearly all of the songs and know most of the words.  Mommy loves listening to me sing and singing with me.
  •  At home, we at dinner since Daddy had already fixed it.  The lasagna and bread were delicious!
  • I laid on my belly on the floor and started wiggling toward the foyer.  I told Mommy and Daddy that I was a worm digging through the dirt.  When they asked where I had learned about worms, I told them it was from a television show.  I'm so silly!
  • After playing with Littles and her toy, my balloon, and my eggs and playing with the iPad for a few minutes, it was time for bed.  Mommy and I played with my Cars sticker book for about 10 minutes before bed.  She started telling me all abut the Cars movie that I haven't seen yet.  She talks about it like it's a great movie.  She said maybe we could watch it tomorrow.  Before climbing up to bed, I had to take my socks off since I'm not allowed on my ladder with my socks.  I stepped under my bed and hid to take my socks off, then came out from hiding with my Elmo slippers on.  I was so tickled with myself and Mommy was giggling.  I told her I had to put my slippers on to keep my feet from getting cold until I got to the ladder (it was only 3 feet or so).
  • Mommy seems a little extra sad today so I tried to keep her smiling.
  • Mommy mentioned something about waking up in the morning and looking out the window to see if I can see snow.  I'll have to remember to do that tomorrow.

November 24, 2013

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I slept until about 7:30 then Mommy let me cuddle in bed between her and Daddy.  Since I had my puppy and blankie with me, I was able to fall back asleep until Daddy decided to get up about 45 minutes later.
  • I ate breakfast with Daddy and took a bath and started getting ready for church.  Mommy and Daddy did the same.
  • At church, I had fun playing in the nursery and there were even more little ones at church today so it was more fun.
  • After church, we all ate downstairs.  There was food everywhere.  Everyone brought different foods so I got to try a lot of different things.  My favorite things were Mommy and Daddy's mac-n-cheese that they had fixed and Ms. Kelly's banana pudding cake.  I even got to drink Kool-aid too!
  • Once we got home, I fell asleep for my nap  quickly.  Before falling asleep, I had Mommy come upstairs to give Dolly a hug and kiss.  Mommy told me that Dolly needed an "ugga mugga" since I had given those to my other dolls last night at bed time, but I reminded her that, "Dolly doesn't have a nose, so I can't give her an 'ugga mugga'."  I also told her that Dolly needed a drink.  I tipped the cup up for Dolly to have a drink and spilled a little in my bed.
  • Once I woke from my nap, Daddy and I colored in my coloring book.  I also played with Littles.  She likes when I throw her toy for her to fetch.
  • Mommy left for a bit, so I played with Daddy for a while.  We ate snacks (a few times), matched up socks, covered a few windows to keep the heat in the house, and watched a little television.
  • Mommy got home just in time for bedtime.  We read a few books, then climbed in bed.  After a few whines for a drink, for a hug and kiss, for someone to cover up my legs with the blanket, I was finally ready to fall asleep.
  • I'm glad tomorrow is Monday since I'll get to see my friend, Keegan.  Mommy said something about a short week, whatever that means.

November 23, 2013

Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

  • I slept until close to 7:30 this morning then spent some time with Daddy downstairs.  I ate my first breakfast was waffles, then had a second breakfast with Mommy and Daddy once Mommy woke up.  Daddy cooked us eggs, bacon, and biscuits.  It was delicious!
  • I spent the morning watching a little television and playing hide-and-go-seek.  It was fun!
  • I played with Littles and Indy, hugged on Gemma and Cameron, and rode my rocking horse.
  • After lunch, I took a nap then woke up, got dressed, and went to Mommy's school to help her give a tour.  My favorite part of Mommy's school is the water fountains.  I feel like such a big girl when I get to drink out of one.  I acted like I knew where everything was and was a great tour guide.
  • After we got back home, Daddy was back from the football game, so I had to tell him all about peeing in the big girl potty earlier in the day.  He was proud of me.
  • Mommy cooked dinner and it was yummy.  Daddy ended up helping me eat it.  I couldn't wait to have snacks after dinner.  Daddy even gave me a pudding cup since I ate enough dinner.
  • I spent the evening playing on Mommy's computer, drawing shapes on Paint (I'm quite good at it without help now).  I also played with balloons, hitting them to Mommy and Daddy and passing them up and down my red tunnel.  I also had Mommy shoot baskets into the tunnel with the balloon.  I got super silly in playing with my tunnel, especially when Indy started trying to get me through the tunnel.
  • It was a nice, relaxing day and I'm looking forward to tomorrow, especially since it's Sunday, church day.
