Alyson's Exciting Events of the Day:

Said good-bye to mom and dad.

Had pancakes for breakfast. She had 3. With syrup to dip.

Had to take sherry for her diet coke fix at McDonald's.

Played beads, played outside on the front porch, played outback and blew bubbles with sherry before lunch.

Had leftovers from last night for lunch. Asked sherry for help since she was having a hard time finishing her plate. Had angel food cake, strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream for dessert. Needed no help with that.

Loaded everyone up in the big vehicle and sherry, grandma and I rode in grandma's car and went to the airport.

The company all left and Grandpa, Grandma and I came home.

Grandma, Lucy, and I all took a nap.

After the nap, I played a little while in the sprinkler and then came in and had a turkey and cheese sandwich.

I watched the Riverfest fireworks with Grandma and Grandpa on the porch of the house. The neighbor even gave me a glow bracelet to wear.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

• Had a Tudor's apple biscuit for breakfast this morning and it was delicious!  
• Mommy, Sherry (who I like to call Annie), Grandma, and I went to some yard sales and we found some great bargains.  The first bargain we found was a Diego cup.  I was so excited!  I was so cute and so interested in the Bop it toy that they ended up giving it to me.  Mommy didn't seem quite as excited as I was about it.
• After several yard sales where I found lots of things to play with and ended up getting a few books, a frog purse and a bug toy that wiggles, we ended up going to a store to look and then ended up at the mall.  There were two balloon UFOs that were fun to look at, one even had aliens in the windows.  While shopping, Grandma pushed me around in the stroller and kept shaking me around.  She also tipped me over so I was on my head.  My first reaction was to look at Grandma and say, "I'm glad I had my seat belt on." 
• I played in the play area and had fun chasing some of the other kids around and including myself in their games.  
• On the way home, after much struggle, I finally gave up and fell asleep.  I woke up in the bed at Grandma's house, just in time for dinner.  After dinner, strawberry shortcake, and a second helping of fruit and whipped cream, I was "full to the top."  
• I played with bubbles outside in between rain storms, ran out front to watch trains go by, and talked to Mommy and Daddy on the phone (me with the cordless and them with their cell phones in the same room with them).  
• I fell asleep on the couch with Uncle Bill and Grandpa while they were watching a movie.  I slept there until Daddy came in to carry me to bed.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

• Woke up and went to Krispy Kreme donuts for Hot, Fresh donuts for Donut Friday!  The entire family enjoyed Donut Friday today!
• After a quick donut, Grandma cooked breakfast for all of us.  My favorite part was the fruit and biscuit.  
• We all piled into the rental vehicle (all 8 of us) to go driving around.  We went to some places where family members used to live in Fayette County.   Sherry's husband, Jeff, even found me a little piece of coal for me hold.  I loved it!  Then, we went to see some pretty waterfalls (I could care less about the waterfalls, only wanted to throw the rocks into the water).  We also stopped to look over an overlook to look at a river with a train bridge.  We even got to see a train go over the bridge.   The next stop was a big bridge.  We went down lots and lots of steps to get a better view of the big bridge.  It was a lot of work climbing back up the steps, but I was not tired.  Daddy and I did take a nap in the car on the way back to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
• We had Italian food for dinner and I ate a lot of food.  Then, we went to the levee to listen to music and hang out.  It was fun to look at the boats, walk around, and see the odd people that were there... there were even people that were very tall (on stilts) and in crazy costumes.   I got to pet and look at dogs and even eat some Italian ice.  It was yummy!
• The rain started rolling in, so we headed home and I played with bubbles and ate fruit until Grandma gave me a bath and we went to bed.

Alyson's Most Memorable Events of the Day:

• I woke up and Grandpa came into the room to get me, but I only wanted Mommy.  I took my pillow and bear and joined Mommy in her bed, but only for a few minutes.
• I took some pictures with Mommy's phone, especially of Lucy and Gracie.  (Mommy posted two of my pictures below.)   I also combed Lucy's hair too. 
• Daddy showed up and I was so excited to see him!  I went grocery shopping with Mommy and Daddy to get some things for Grandma.
• We went the airport to pick up my Uncle Bill, my cousin Sherry, and her husband, Jeff.  I was so excited to go see the planes, but fell sleep in the car on the way there.  Daddy let me sleep a little bit, but then woke me up so I could see a couple of airplanes.  I was happy to see my family and even did a couple of super tricks for them in the airport.
• Once back at Grandma's, I showed my shopping cart to Sherry and Bill.  I started handing out cups of eggs to everyone.  Sherry asked where the eggs were coming from, where the chicken was?  I went straight to the shopping cart, started digging through the cart, then found my chicken (a toy roasted chicken).  They thought it was hilarious!  
• Sherry brought me a few toys, new books (with magnets and markers), and the cutest flower sprinkler.  I had a great time playing in the sprinkler while dinner was cooking.  It was so much fun!
• During dinner, I acted like I had never eaten corn on the cob before, picking off one kernel at a time to eat.  Sherry helped me until I finally decided to show them I could eat corn the right way.  
• After a cookie and two helpings of fruit, I spent the evening running in and out of the house, blowing bubbles, and doing super tricks with Sherry.
